After four years of loving the salon they started pairing up their top stylist with apprentices. Basically paying top dollars for a service where only 50% was done by the top stylist. When I requested to be serviced only by the trained stylist,I was denied Of the service. Not a smart way to run a business. This salon is a paradise for girls/women! I've been going there since they've open their Chesterfield location. The ambience and overall vibe of this place is sophisticated, energetic and puts you in a good mood for the entire day! They only use high quality products and the service is always superb. The reception girls are so welcoming, friendly, remember your name and so accommodating. My hairstylist Lexi - is a star. I guess I should have added the rest to my review because it wasn't all about the money (even though the prices here are super high).I paid them. It was all about the service. When I first got my extensions done they were long and beautiful and the second time I went there they were about 4 inches shorter than what I had them. And I was told if I have any problems , come back and they will fix it, so I did have one of the pieces coming out right away but when I went back, they charged me $130. read more

I was able to book the day before for a root touchup, so the availability getting in on short notice with flexible hours was a plus. The salon was in a great location, clean, modern and aesthetically pleasing. Mia was a fantastic stylist and really listened to what I was looking for and made sure I was okay with the entire process and cost of each service. They even gave me a cute welcome bag with some goodies for being a first time client. I would say the only thing I can mention that was a little uncustomary to any salon experiences I've had before is that when I walked into the salon I waited by the front desk and then I even sat down on the couch on the foyer area for several minutes with stylists passing me to go out the door and stylists walking about the salon without any acknowledgment or a hello. I get people are busy and by no means do I expect a whole salon to stop what they're doing to greet me or anything like that but it made me a tad nervous that people had passed by me, were looking at me sitting there, and it took still a while for someone to even say hi. I have had the best experience with this salon, especially with Abbey M! She is very kind, professional, understanding and patient with me. The first time I highlighted/balyaged my hair there was one part I didn't like and she found time to get me in the next day and fix everything complementarily. She listened to exactly what was bothering me and redid that section and it was absolutely perfect. I am also a physician and have a VERY tight schedule in between calls, night shifts, and day shifts at the hospital. I have felt like every time I try want to get my hair done, Abbey is very accommodating and understanding about my crazy busy schedule. One time she even offered to come in early/leave late just to find a time to get me in with her. Also, I wear a headscarf on my head for religious purposes and she went COMPLETELY out of her way to make sure I was in a special private room to get my hair done to be comfortable. She was very accommodating with all of my requests and I felt so extremely lucky to have had her! Anyways I would definitely recommend Abbey M! Her technique with blonding is amazing and I also got weft hair extensions from her and she did such a professional job with them. She walked me through the entire process and guided me through how to care for them and keep my hair healthy. Lastly (this is long I know but I have so much to say about Abbey M), my mom flew in from Arkansas to visit and loved my hair so she wanted to get in ASAP with Abbey to get her hair done and she was soo accommodating getting her in last minute. My mom then called her about wanting to go a little darker and Abbey was able to get her in the very next day which was absolutely amazing. read more

Although the outcome of my hair wasn't what I asked for my stylist was super sweet and offered to try to fix it at no additional cost when I wasn't happy. It was slightly better after she tried to fix it but I ended up having to fly to another state for a color correction at a very reputable salon. My hair is dark naturally and I like it to be a lot lighter but I told them that when I called to make the appointment. They assured me she was experienced in darker hair, and at the appointment I showed her pictures of my own hair and she acted very confident. The stylist then told me at the second appointment to fix my hair the reason she wasn't able to achieve what was always achievable at the other salon was because of my natural hair color being darker. I do think they tried their best, I really appreciate them trying to make it right, and I'm not upset anymore but I would hate for someone else to end up like I did. I think if you have lighter hair you wouldn't have these problems. The salon is also very cute, I wish things would have worked out there for me! read more

Was getting color in my hair and this place was way over priced for what it was. The product wasn't washed all the way out of my hair and when I left it felt dry and brittle :/ On top of the color, was charged $54 for a blow dry, haircut, and style when the ends of my hair were hardly trimmed (5 minutes max) and not styled. read more
