When I questioned that, they said that is the new pricing structure and I should've been contacted. Well, I wasn't told beforehand... But nonetheless, I can't imagine why they would think charging for a blow dry at that amount is acceptable!! It's outrageous. Even more confusing they said that if you get a haircut then a blow dry is included. Craziest reasoning I have ever heard of. So do they want people walking out of the salon into the winter weather with soaking wet hair after getting a color? I was also told that other salons in the area was charging this, and they were just trying to keep up. So I called several salons and they were equally as horrified to hear my story. I certainly would advise anybody going to Ginger Bay to get the charges upfront and see if there are any hidden fees before booking an appointment
