This was my first time since they carried lots of blind boxes. I was looking for characters and loungefly backpack blind boxes but they weren't there anymore When I got there, the store was packed. Interesting enough, I managed to be here for the 70th anniversary merchandise release where this location had a pop-up located outside of their store. I was going in for early entry as staying at the Disneyland Hotel, and was amazed at the line to shop this merchandise. I was intrigued and would end up circling back at the end of the night to see if I could see what all the hype was for. Some of the merchandise was cute, but not my vibe personally. I found most of the items in the store to not be my personal aesthetic. If you like pastels then you've found your haven! They also carry designer items with a higher price tag like Vera and Dooney and Burke. The staff greeted me, and were very friendly. The D-Lander Shop, is located across Din Tai Fung at Downtown Disney. I think it's more of a boutique and is easy to miss. They're right in between a soap shop and the Marvel store. My husband asked if we wanted to go inside. OF COURSE! Who do you think I am? I will always go into a Disney store. I bet he wasn't too happy after walking out with a backpack. LOL. OMG. This is a Disney lover's dream. The items are higher end and so beautiful. I was like a kid at a toy store or candy store. I don't know. Whichever one causes more excitement. There is so much to buy on my wishlist from here and with my luck, of course they had a good amount of things with orange which is my absolute favorite color. D-Lander, has Lounge Fly backpacks, Dooney & Bourke purses, SB cups and tumblers, beautiful pajamas, cute sweaters, beautiful Minnie ears, and the list goes on. When I tell you that my head was spinning, it literally was. We had to get going so my eyes were scanning the store as fast as possible before getting to the front of the line. The cashier was super friendly and complimented my choice in the backpack. I mean, it is absolutely adorable as you will see in my photos. I literally cannot wait to go back. All of the best girly bougie exclusive items are located at this shop in downtown Disney! So many items you can't find online but always check DisneyStore.com first in case there's better discounts. This store has the whole outfit which makes it a one stop shop. They also restock pretty frequently and provide parking validation after purchase. They accept annual pass discount. Definitely one of the more upscale Disney shops. They have some designer collabs that can cost hundreds of dollars but they also have just a lot of cute Disney-branded gear here that's a little more aesthetic. I stopped by recently because of the Stoney Clover sale, which they let you stack with your Magic Key discount. It was a good discount but still so overpriced. The cast members here are friendly and attentive and they keep the store clean and well-organized. read more

I didn't even have a Disney park reservation, but I stopped in hoping to find a very specific pair of Dooney & Bourke ears and Elena absolutely came through. She was so helpful and managed to snag me the exact pair I was looking for. With my Magic Key discount, the ears came out to $170, which felt like a win for such a cute and high-quality find. The store also carries designer items like Gucci, which were fun to browse, even though they weren't in my budget this time. Great selection, excellent service, and a little Disney magic even without a park reservation. I'll definitely be back! read more

The D-Lander Shop has some really unique and fun items that you won't need park admission to buy. This store is located in Downtown Disney right across from the Din Tai Fung. When I went, they had a few of the Disney collabs available for sale like Lululemon, Her Universe, etc. They also had some second hand luxury bags in their case. I'm not sure which retailer it was from but they were Louis Vuitton. I found the Disneyland letterman jacket for her here as well as a nostalgic Disneyland sign tote bag and matching sweatshirt. If you're a in Downtown Disney, it's worth a stop if you're looking for some exclusive merch. They also have fitting rooms which the stores inside the park do not have. This recently opened fashion and accessory store not only carries many of the finer merchandise seen around the parks... they also have high-end fashion labels like Dooney and Burke, Kate Spade, and Vera Wang. (The Vera Wang ears especially get quite a bit of attention at $550 a pop - and I doubt that there's a Magic Key Holder discount available. I joked with my fiancee that seeing those ears behind glass would be the closest she'd get to them.) The location itself is a bit on the small side; as such, it can get crowded moving around inside. When the Disney Dress shop closed I was pretty bummed but happy to hear that they added this spot in Downtown Disney to sell all the unique collab items that you used to only be able to get inside the parks. It's pretty far down the way from the parks in downtown Disney tucked into the corner across from Din Tai Fung but once inside the setup is really organized and easy to find all the newest collabs and even better when you can use your Disney Magic Key discount in store! There are two fitting rooms as well to try items on and a Pandora counter in the back of the store. I've lucked out in finding things that sold out online in this store for sure. Discounted Parking validation available with purchase in the downtown Disney lot. read more

This is a cute little store located in Downtown Disney right across from the new Din Tai Fung. When we went there was a line of about 10 people or so. It is a small store and a pricy one at that so I see why they limit the amount of people inside. As mentioned this place does have very nice and expensive stuff. Our main reason for coming was so my wife could check out the new Cinderella collection. They had all the stuff but the shirt she wanted was dirty and there was none left in her size and no discount was going to be given so we didn't want to risk it. They also have a Pandora in the back which has the exclusive Disney park charms. Seems like they are always releasing new ones and of course we couldn't leave without getting a charm. One nice thing is that they have a fitting room here so that you can try on the clothes which is nice because a lot of the stores here don't have that option and signing is always all over the place with Disney merch. Overall it's a nice small store just be prepared to open up that wallet if you are a Disney fan. read more

Well they do have some high end items in here as well as a Pandora section. Even saw a Disney/Lululemon collab. This store is a little small so I can see why the line to get in but a lot of the merchandise in here was not really for me I mean there were some nice cool things. The merch is very good quality and cute. The prices however are very pricey and the employees are most of the time nice but there was this one employee named Jade who worked at the pandora side of the store. Jade was giving me dirty looks and completely ignored me for no reason while not ignoring the other shoppers. read more

Amazing merch but unfortunately had a rude experience with worker "Nicole". She was so rude when I asked politely for a price check, in which she responded "it's on the tag" even though I explained none of them had it. She then kept saying "it's on tag" until she checked and was proven wrong. She was so mean that I was about to walk out, but she wasn't worth worth not buying the merch. Dissapointed, but I hope Nicole understands the importance of being kind for future customers. read more

Today while at the D-Lander, a customer intentionally bumped into my 60-year-old mother during a high-traffic moment. When I spoke up about what happened to the associate standing there she simply stood there and showed no empathy or concern. I was very disappointed in the lack of support. I had to step in myself to advocate for my mother and remind the customer to show some common sense and respect for someone older. This experience left me feeling frustrated, as I would have expected staff to respond with care and professionalism in such a situation. read more

My wife just finished treatment for stage 4 cancer last September. It's been a long and hard road to recovery, but she was finally feeling strong enough to celebrate with a trip to Disneyland. She's needed new clothes ever since chemotherapy. However, she's a very frugal person that refuses to spend money on herself most of the time, so I was very happy to hear interest in a pair of overalls we saw at the D-Lander Shop in Downtown Disney. She still needed some cajoing, but we decided to drop by the store on our way home from our two day Disneyland trip to get it. Unfortunately, the experience we were met with when we returned for the overalls was shameful, aggressive, and a shocking display of a severe lack of problem solving and social skills that ultimately turned us away from the store. Tarryn from Durban, South Africa was the cast member assisting with the changing room at the time. My wife, who had put on a dress in the morning, did not have a shirt on when she was trying on the overalls. She wanted to be sure that the overalls were a good fit, and so she called for me to take a look with her. I entered the changing room with her and was immediately told that the store had a one-person-at-a-time policy for the changing rooms, which is very reasonable. Working at an international tourist destination, I'm sure that the cast members have to deal with very damaging behaviors from patrons at the store often, and so we were empathetic to that rule. Tarryn told us that my wife had to step out of the changing room to show me the overalls. We explained to her that she arrived with a dress and so did not have a shirt on. Tarryn then offered a compromise for me to prop the door open while helping my wife assess fit, but was oddly anxious and uneasy about it. We took her offer and I propped the door open with my shoulder while inside the changing room. I made sure that the door did not latch, but also wanted to make sure that my wife was out of view from the rest of the store while in her underwear, and so held it open very slightly. Less than five seconds later, we get a very loud series of knocks on the door. Tarryn had called for another cast member, who yelled from the other side, in full earshot of the whole store, about the store policy and how we needed to step out because I was not holding the door wide enough. I again explained that my wife did not have a shirt on because of her dress. She was not interested in the explanation and, citing store policy, yelled her ultimatum: either my wife and I step out to view the overalls together in the open, or she calls security. This was extremely shameful, embarrassing, and a ridiculously aggressive first response to a very reasonable situation. My wife decided not to purchase the overalls and changed while I waited for her outside. Tarryn averted eyes from me and completely ignored me while this was going on. I could feel furtive glances from her and the rest of the staff and patrons. My wife and I approached Tarryn afterwards to try to express our anger and disappointment at how the issue was handled. We asked her if there was a manager we could contact to help us navigate the situation, to which she replied almost tauntingly that there was no number for us to call. Since Tarryn was being so oppositional, we approached another employee for help. This one was able to bring us Kimberly from Norfolk, CA, who was much more helpful. While still citing store policy, Kimberly offered to let us return to our hotel room with the overalls, or for my wife to put on a shirt from the store so that we could adhere to store policy while still letting me help my wife with fit. Unfortunately, after having been shouted at in such a public place, we were too embarrassed to follow through with the transaction. We would have jumped at Kimberly's suggestuon to borrow a shirt as a compromise before the unpleasant interaction. I wish Tarryn and the other employee had just taken a beat to problem-solve together with us. I'm extremely disappointed at the quality of service skill we experienced. read more
