Food: sandwich was flavorful Service: quick and friendly Ambiance: perfect for getting shit done/wifi Kristina is the coolest barista in town and made the smoothest cappuccino that I've ever had. Their food also rocks. Excited to come back and try other options on their menu

We've actually been here three times in the past few weeks: once when accidentally just stumbling on it when walking around downtown Durham, once when we wanted a drink and bite when our power was out at home, and once for a private event with Offline Raleigh/Durham. All three times we had interesting drinks, good food, and pleasant conversations with the owners, staff and fellow patrons. They offer coffee in the morning, baked goods from various local vendors, light bites and sandwiches, and also bottles and gifts to go. We enjoyed their bread and hummus, turkey melt, and unique selection of beer and cider. One evening, we had their cake and beer pairing (yule log and a stout) and that was wonderful. The vibe is very relaxed and friendly, and there were a few families with young kids. We will be back.

What an amazing place! When you walk in, you'll be greeted by the most friendly staff, known to man! The open floor plan, and well decorated space is warm and inviting. This is a great place for a cup of coffee in the morning, or a Goat & Fig sandwich for lunch-- which I recommend enjoying with prosciutto. The salty prosciutto was an excellent compliment to the the perfectly paired goat cheese and sweet fig jam. The DRAM sparkling water was so yummy and refreshing. Do try one! Any flavor!

Fantastic cafe and lunch spot!! I stumbled upon this place after the library was too crowded but I needed somewhere to plug in my laptop and work. I sat at the bar and enjoyed getting a little view of the magic happening behind the counter as I worked. Really reasonably priced food, this whole sandwich and salad with tasty quality ingredients was only $11 and my iced tea not pictured was $3. Would definitely return if I find myself in the area again because they had so many drinks I want to try!

I have found a new place I love in downtown Durham. Great beer selection and incredibly attentive service. Everyone was so nice.

Cute place. They have wifi and plenty of electrical outlets. I got the chickpea salad. Service was friendly and quick.

Hummus/red pepper/feta sandwich, side salad, amazing house-made hummus

I had never been or heard of this place, HOWEVER I love the concept! So when you walk in - you are greeted by the cashier. They provide a bracelet and ask how much would you like to put on the bracelet? Once you pay, they load your bracelet with the funds and then you are free to drink! They have beer, cider, and wine - no liquor. They also DO NOT serve any type of food, but there are plenty of restaurants in very close proximity. If I am not mistaken, you are allowed to bring food in...Anyhow, you find the drink you want, scan your bracelet, and then fill you glass! Just that simple. It was packed in Asheville, so my experience was rushed, but I remember having a great hazy and I loved their brand stickers (Cornholio and a zombie looking Bart Simpson) . Fast forward 4 years and I am in Durham on a random weekday afternoon. My buddies and I had the place to ourselves. This time I was able to get a flight. The lovely new bartender recommended the Absolutely Extraterrestrials Mexican Stout that had an ABV of 13%! I think she was trying to get me drunk! Anywho, I also got the Kolsch and 2 IPAs on the flight. They were all great but the stout (absolutely delicious and complex) and the Love Computer DIPA were my favorites. Dssolvr didn't have food and no food truck when I was there but there are plenty of places in the area. The beer is phenomenal and I wish we had time to get another flight to try more. However, Durham has a lot of breweries for such a small area, so we had to hop around. Any brewery hop in Durham or Asheville has to involve Dssolvr.

Parking is a bit of a mess in the area with ongoing construction and a lot of apartment complexes where it's unclear if they offer parking to outside visitors. I ordered a flight, but was disappointed that a new beer they'd advertised on their social was only in cans and thus unavailable (perhaps clarify this in your post). They have a good sized collection of different styles. However, the "Wanda" (supposed to be like a Wendy's frosty) was terrible...watered down chocolate milk. You can never go wrong with their PB&J sour.
