The atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy/fun. The bartenders were very helpful and the drinks were delicious. I highly recommend the old fashioned!

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. No one would answer the phone... I was worried the establishment could be close but to my surprise when I got there, there was 2 employees there. :/ French fries were not crispy from being in the styrofoam to go container hot and was a bit soggy. The burger was well seasoned and was good but it was soggy too. They forgot to give me a drink that comes with the Elgin Cheeseburger combo and I didn't realize the missing drink until I got home which was too late. Overall, I think maybe my experience would have been different if I dined there. The inside of the establishment was super dark and blacked out. The burger was decent and was better than other places that offered burgers in town. I would order a dine in burger from here again and try other items on the menu. Maybe second time is a charm? :)

I got the kalimotxo (wine+coke) which was nice but not as tasty as their tinto de verano (which was my personal fave when I was in Spain). They make their own chips too! They were so light and fluffy and felt like they melted in my mouth....being topped by jamon was just the pièce de résistance Service was great, the spot was decorated beautifully, and I enjoyed my visit. We only expected to get a few bites but everything just sounded so yummy and they do have valet which was nice (considering how hard it is to find street parking on the east side).

When we arrived, they were still getting ready our table so we did wait a little bit. But the hostess was so nice and then our waiter was amazing. I love how they explained each dish and knew what to recommend. And when I ordered our wine, I loved that the person that brought it out was like a huge enthusiast on it and explained to us all about it, which is so cool. I was so excited to know that they had real hormone ego from Spain. It was pricey, but that's just because of the import, but it was amazing. I was so happy it felt like I was back in Spain eating this cause it's literally my favorite thing to eat. We also got the Popeyes bravos, which was delicious the sauce and it was so good. We did order other things that I didn't post here but let me tell you everything we got was delicious. Everything is for sharing so you do need to go with that mentality about it. And as for the wine we asked for it to be in that special bottle because we wanted to do the whole thing of where we poured in our mouth which was really cute lol. The place is really cute. Has good music nice date night vibes or even go with your best friend vibes.

Wow! What an incredible experience at Sixty Vines in The Domain!…read more We made our reservation through OpenTable and mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. When we arrived at our table, we were surprised with a handwritten Happy Anniversary postcard and a beautifully presented gift--such a thoughtful touch that immediately made the evening feel special. Our server, Polina, was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to learn what styles of wine we enjoy and brought us a few samples before helping us choose an amazing wine flight. Her recommendations were spot-on! We also enjoyed a custom charcuterie board and the prosciutto & fig pizza, both of which were outstanding. To top it all off, Andrew, the manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. We loved learning about Sixty Vines' unique wine-on-tap program and appreciated their commitment to sustainability, including composting food scraps. (They didn't have much to compost from our table--maybe a bite or two of pizza crust! ) The only disappointing part of the evening was that we had tickets to a show and couldn't stay longer to explore more of their incredible wine selection. That's just another reason we'll definitely be back!
