We walked into Sixty Vines for the first time today. The chicken and caviar had really dry chicken. We asked for mustard, but the restaurant doesn't carry it. As for sauces, they had side sauces but nothing to really help with the chicken's dryness, so my partner asked for mayonnaise. The caviar was tasteless, and the crème fraîche had melted by the time the dish arrived, so it looked and tasted like butter. As for the BLT, the pecorino cheese crust overpowered the BLT's flavor. The beet salad was the star of the show with three types of beets. I asked for the dressing on the side, which was a great idea because I didn't want to mask the flavor of natural beets. Maybe it wasn't as fresh as it should have been. The food was a bit pricey for the quality you might expect, but we've actually gone to this restaurant several times. The manager is wonderful and really makes an effort to ensure a good experience. I was so excited to try this place and I hate to say it. It was no good and not worth the prices. He definitely need a reservation cause this place was jampacked, but I also took my mother for Mother's Day. The table still took quite a while to get and then they wanted to see us at a high top at the bar and I said no cause that is inconvenient for my mom to jump on the highchair like that since she's older. So we still had to wait longer to get a regular table which was ridiculous because you can't even choose online what kind of table. I get it that they were overwhelmed, but once seated, it did take forever to get a waiter as well. In general to ask for anything took forever and to get food took forever. I have to say the place and the architecture inside is really nice. My mom got some special drink that they were having and it was overly sweet. The wine selection that they have. I'm sorry but is not good at all. The rosé that they had me try was two different ones and none were good and that's all they had to choose from. We started off with the chicken and caviar and let me tell you for the price. It was ridiculous. Each piece of chicken had like three little balls of caviar which was ridiculous and it was more breading than chicken. The only thing I will say was delicious with brussels sprouts they did a really good job on it and the taste was great. Then we got some pasta that literally tasted like pasta and butter and the shrimp on it tasted like it was just boiled. We had to order more Parmesan cheese to make it taste like something. Came for a girls lunch and honestly loved it. I got there before my friend and they seated me right away, brought water over without me asking, just little things that make a difference. Our waitress was great, attentive but not hovering. We got a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and shared the roasted cauliflower, bacon wrapped figs and the fried chicken caviar. The fried chicken caviar STOLE the show oh my gosh it was delicious . So good. The bacon wrapped figs were delicious too. The cauliflower was just okay for me. It's presented as this big beautiful flower which looks stunning but it's actually why it doesn't roast well, you lose that crispy almost popcorn-like texture you get with regular roasted cauliflower. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and was able to easily sit at the bar. The bar has a lot of seating. Both bartenders were very attentive and the managers/food runners made sure to bring food out quickly so it arrives hot and fresh. I came in for the frozen espresso martini after seeing it all over Instagram. It was blended well and is still coffee forward which I loved. It's not too sweet. I've seen mixed reviews about the food so opted for the Brussels and a pizza. The pizza was cheesy, pretty flavorful but the red pepper flakes and ranch gave it the little extra spice I needed. Came here for our anniversary and was treated to an amazing night. Kudos to the wait staff for making our evening super special! Super modern, large space with the dim lighting for the romantic mood. Music is a bit loud inside but we were seated at a table that happened to be a bit away from the speakers, so was very enjoyable. They also have an outdoor patio area if the weather is nice. For the food, we decided just to get a bunch of smaller plates to share so we could sample a bunch of the food. Everything was very good, familiar classics for the most part with a neat twist. My favorite was the grilled golden beets. Normally I hate beets but these were almost like eating a ripe peach - so juicy, sweet and flavorful and was the perfect vegetable to complement some of the fried stuff we got. Chicken and caviar is thin, super crisp chicken (think Milanesa style) with lemon, crème freche and caviar and the combo just works, especially hot out of the fryer, the contrast is fantastic. The pappardelle is perfect al dente pasta, with nice toothsome chew, hearty meat sauce with the braised pork spinoff, my wife's favorite dish of the night. Fried zucchini came last and it has a perfect fry on it - good texture again, well seasoned and the little chili sprinkled in is the perfect pop. If you come with a group, I would dare to say just order everything and share so you can try it all. Too full for dessert but would definitely want to try that sticky toffee cake one day. Second time around everything was outstanding . Granted we were here at lunch and the cooks were not in a rush so all of our food was ready very quickly and delicious. If you haven't been here the ambiance is clean modern and very open and airy ,the atmosphere is very loud at diner but at lunch everything was quiet and relaxed. I will say in my humble opinion that the main courses are good but I highly suggest getting serval appetizers as your entree. From that amazing chimichurri tri tip and cream fraiche fried chicken with caviar you really can't go wrong. Those things all paired with a glass of wine of your choice and you've got a great meal and awesome experience. All together a solid 8/10 and that's a great thing considering the amount of competition in Austin let alone the Domain where it's located. Parking is the one of few things I absolutely hate and think is atrocious at this place otherwise a top contender at the Domain considering that many of the other places are older and kind of played out. We happy shrimp and sausage pizza.. It was spicy and delicious. For appetizer we had the chicken caviar which is delicious and quite a bit of food. I had this fruity frozen wine drink with fruit in it. On a humid day it was refreshing. I was so eager to try Sixty Vines after seeing all the pictures and reviews about the fried chicken! We had a reservation for dinner with the special request to be seated outside and upon arrival, they did not skip a beat with our accommodation, we had a great table on the deck. We had already been looking at the menu and knew what we wanted so we immediately started putting in our order. Our server was amazing, he let us know that almost everything on the menu was gluten-free and cooked in their own separate fryers and surfaces, which was really great since I have a gluten sensitivity. The buttermilk fried chicken cutlets with lemon crème fraîche and caviar was absolutely delicious! I could eat that once a week and never get tired of it. And the fried zucchini was insanely delicious! And the portion is very generous. My husband's favorites were the roasted golden beets sitting on whipped feta and sprinkled with pistachios, and the roasted potatoes. Chef's kiss! The olives with citrus and fennel was a beautiful palette cleanser, very bright and fresh. We had the Truffled Fries which were next level good! They aren't fries per se, but layers of thin potatoes fried into deliciousness! My house salad was off the charts with candied pecans, strawberries and pecorino with a spot on citrus honey vinaigrette. Service was perfect, didn't hover but checked on us just when we needed it. I have been anxiously awaiting to experience Sixty Vines as many of my friends have raved about it. I met a Yelp friend for Happy Hour. Please note Happy Hour is available at the bar and lounge only. When you walk into Sixty Vines you are immediately attracted to the modern interior, tall ceiling and floor to ceiling windows. The tables are all meticulously set and ready for guests. Sixty vines is an aesthetically pleasing environment...quite striking. My friend and I shared the truffle vineyard fries, brussel sprouts, Prosciutto di parma board, and golden beets. She had the equivalent of a margarita and I had a martini. Ratings by Item: Truffle Vineyard Fries (4/5) - liked the concept of a scalloped potatoes fried in the shape of a French fry. The fries were flavorful and hearty. Brussel Sprouts (3/5) - While the brussel sprouts were flavorful, they were not crisp fried as enumerated on the menu. They were a bit soggy. Prosciutto di Parma Board (4/5) - The prosciutto was thinly sliced, soft and flavorful. The accompanying almonds and honey accentuated the prosciutto. The pita bread was hard and not very easy to consume. Golden Beets (3/5) - The beets had a small amount of flavor from grilling but no other flavor. Tequila Fix (4/5) The drink contained Corazón Blanco Tequila, watermelon, and lime. My friend enjoyed her drink. First Crush Maritnin (2/5) - Contained Grey Goose Vodka, Ferrari-Carano Fume Blanc, St.Germain Elderflower, lemon, and was garnished with sugar coated white grapes. The martini was not one of my favorites. While our server, was initially helpful in taking our order and checking on us. Her trips to our table became excessive to the point I felt uncomfortable. On Christmas Eve EVE, we tried out Sixty Vines at the Domain for the first time. My parents were visiting us, and we were excited to try a new place after peeping the location taking photos a few weeks before by the Macy's Christmas tree. Located next door to Macy's, Sixty Viines was bumpin' for the holidays. It has a large indoor dining room, bar area, and a medium-sized patio. We used Open Table for a reservation, and the staff were very helpful to seat us on the patio per our request. The patio is incredibly charming with lights in the oak trees. They also had igloo experiences set up, which we thought you had to spend $200 to rent (but I guess it is that you need to spend $200 within 2 hours). The weather was unseasonably warm for December, so we were happy to not be in an igloo and enjoy the fresh open air. The igloo experience did look cute for those partaking in it, and I would imagine it is lovely on a cold night. The area is a bit loud (lots of street traffic) and the bustle of The Domain especially with the holidays, but I really liked the vibe. The food at Sixty Vines was delicious with a sort of new American style with bits of Italian and Spanish cuisine sprinkled in. The appetizers were actually the best part of the menu for me: The grilled golden beets were truly special, and the wood roasted cauliflower with eggplant puree and pitas was a crowd favorite. I wanted the cauliflower to be cut a little smaller and cooked just slightly longer (a bit too al dente, and I like al dente). My partner and I had margherita pizza, which was tasty with the San Marzano tomato sauce (although mine had a bit too heavy of parmesan on top). My parents enjoyed both of their pasta dishes: campanelle (which is served with shrimp) and braised pork pappardelle. They also got a caesar salad, which was pretty mid, and none of us would choose that salad again. Our server, Nicky, was doing her best to serve literally every table outside (and likely other guests inside), but there was a long wait to order and get my family's bottle of wine (like almost 30 minutes). Because of the long wait, we decided to forgo the dessert, which we wanted to try. Nicky was wonderful and friendly, so she and the other staff just needed more help. I heard another table when I walked by was sending back a starter that came out after their main, and it took awhile to get more water for our table too. I think it was a combo of a busy night and not enough staff, so I hope they can hire more folks to help their current awesome staff out. I will definitely give Sixty Vines a try on a different night. For those who like a tasting menu, they also have small glasses of wine (I think 2.5 oz) that make getting a flight or trying some different options possible. Decided to give Sixty Vines a try before our show at Cap City last Sat. Our usual wine spot pre show is no longer open at the Domain. The wait for a table of 3 was estimated 20 mins, but bar is open seating, so we grabbed seats there. Looks like they have wine on tap, where I ordered the Riesling. It was a crisp and slightly dry, semi sweet Riesling. Not too bad. We ordered the Santa Maria tri tip and mussels to share between my fiance and I. The tri tip came out fairly quickly and it was very delicious with the chimichurri. The mussels took awhile to come out, unsure of what exactly happened, but our bartender eventually tracked it down and made things right. All food and drink was delicious. We have started with drinks, my husband got himself a glass of wine and I got the Slipstream. The wine was amazing and overall I believe their selection of wines is great and has good pricing. However, Slipstream was terrible - poorly made cocktail, there was too much gin and alc was not the best quality. The appetizer we chose was wood grilled shrimp and it was genuinely impressive. I highly recommend trying it - 10/10 Pizzas we got were Mushroom and Fig&Prosciutto. Fig&Prosciutto was good. The four star rating is simply because we made a reservation online for outside seating. When we arrived, the host told us they did not have any available outdoor seating on the patio so we were forced to sit inside. Sitting inside is not our preference simply because the acoustics are awful, and it is so loud. We did end up sitting towards the back so we could at least hear ourselves talk a little. We got the centerpiece old-fashioned, which is basically an old-fashioned for two. Very enjoyable very smooth. The nice thing about it too is that they don't put ice in it so it doesn't get watered down while you're drinking it. I got the Creaste de gallo which is one of my favorite dishes. Pasta is always nicely cooked, and the pesto sauce is not overwhelming. My husband got the pork chop and said it was good although the first bite he took was way over salted. I came with a few of my run club friends for brunch and we were treated like royalty! I finally got the chance to try this establishment last night, and am I so glad I did! Although there were no more spots left for reservations, we ended up walking in and were quickly seated at the bar (which comes with full service). My friend and I decided to split everything so that we can try more dishes together, and this strategy ended up working perfectly with their generous portion sizes. The Brussels were perfectly charred with a sesame and spicy vinaigrette and the cashews provided a nice crunch to the dish! Don't sleep on the Pork Chop because it had an amazing sear on the outside, but the meat inside still remained so juicy and tender. We loved the peppadew romesco sauce that came with the entree --giving the pork a creamy and zesty touch! Our Fig & Prosciutto Pizza gave just the right amount of sweetness to help balance out our other savory dishes. I particularly loved how the pizza was made using a white sauce and included fresh arugula topping. For our Grilled Golden Beets, I enjoyed the dish but felt like it was missing something. I personally thought it would come with a side of some whipped feta (since the ingredient list mentioned this), but the feta was most likely used for preparing the beets rather than being a dip. The "cherry on top" moment for me was when we received the bill and noticed that our waitress gave us a complimentary appetizer and deducted our two Diet Cokes. Although our service experience was a bit slow (we came during a Friday night dinner rush hour), I think she recognized that and wanted to make it right. We truly appreciated the pleasant surprise! We sat on the other side of the bar, not really outside but next to the windows facing Macys. One of us is gluten sensitive. So we are always appreciative when an eatery clearly marks the gluten free entrees in their menu. We decided to order the shared plates: Vineyard Fries, Crispy Zucchini, Citrus Olives, Grilled Golden Beets and the Tri Tip. All were good food. My favorite was the beets. The combination of the sweet beets and salty whipped feta was just perfect. I am a fries-phile and I love their fries. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough :) . My least favorite plate was the Citrus Olive. Our waiter did warned us the olive wasn't pitted, but we went ahead and order it to try. Midway thru our eating it, I was reminded how much of a PITA it is eating unpitted olives. But we've been warned. Overall, the buzz in the restaurant was energetic. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I would come here again. read more

I had the roasted chicken, which was tasty. My wife and daughter said their food was okay. They have lots of wines on tap, which is neat. Also, the decor makes for some nice photo opportunities. Overall, a decent meal. read more

Great food, friendly staff, wonderful ambiance. Really had a great time for birthday dinner and manager took great care of desserts for us~ Zucchini chips and mussels were tasty. Shrimp campanelli was impressive and pretty much all dishes were delicious. The only thing is the salmon was too well done. Great place! read more

My favorite spot at The Domain. I first visited their Dallas locations, which are great, but the one here at The Domain is brand new and impressive. The ambiance at night is beautiful- the lighting, construction, and finishes really stand out. Their wine selection and service are excellent. I especially enjoy the appetizers, and they also have good pasta dishes. The patio is a big highlight as well, right in the heart of The Domain, where you can people-watch as shoppers walk by and nearby retail buzzes around you. During the Christmas season, there's even a festive Christmas tree right next to it, which adds to the charm. read more

This place is nice and open, with ample seating in the dining area as well as at the bar with all the wine taps, great idea for wine lovers! The cocktails were refreshing and delightful as a great starter! We had several shared appetizers and enjoyed every bite. Both Brian and Eric were our stars!
