Sunday funday, but chill! Try both frozen drinks please! I enjoyed my Sunday at Stargazer. The bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable! Both of the frozen drinks were really good and strong. I enjoyed the DJ. The atmosphere was so alive and connected to outside. The vibes were so beautiful and amazing. I will definitely be back!

Yesterday, I was judging an art contest in East Austin in the morning and decided to grab coffee there. I sent out an inquiry to see if any of our Yelp crew wanted to join me. A friend suggested Stargazer as great place for coffee and she was spot on. Our meeting at Stargazer was great for coffee and to hear the details of her recent London trip. This place was as the name implies where you could stargaze. Smile. The stargazer vibe immediately grabs you! The interior is open, sun filled, and full of plants, with high ceilings that make the whole place feel open and welcoming. The colors are soothing, adding to the relaxed vibe. The outdoor patio is just as inviting with outdoor seating in a courtyard type environment (think resort-like with a pebble walkway). Stargazer feels simultaneously playful and whimsical as well as being thoughtfully designed. We ordered lattes...my friend got an Earth, Wind and Fire (not sure it was a play on words for nature or the Lionel Richie band) with matcha, ginger, bergamot, and honey, while I chose a Cinnabomb with espresso, maple, coconut, MCT oil, cinnamon, and steamed milk. Both lattes were quite tasty. We enjoyed the well-designed space, lattes and especially catching up.

Only tried zero proof drinks. Realllllllyyy sweet. However the ingredients were unique. Service was really fast and I absolutely love the ambience. I can't wait to go back here for brunch / food - or for a guest DJ.

1 part cocktail and 1 part coffee and you have Stargazer. Conveniently located right off a parking lot (and taco truck), Stargazer has this funky, earthy vibe to it. The setting here is somewhere between a craft brewery and a botanical garden, which gives it a very unique feel. Throw in a pool table, some foosball, and various nightly events such as trivia or comedy, and you have something special. By the time we got to the counter to order we were pretty excited to see what was in store. However, the wait was... long, which wouldn't be bad if we hadn't been the only people in line. We must have waited about 10 minutes or so before we got someone to take our order, and that's with a barista at the bar and another worker restocking in front of us. It just felt like there was zero urgency and the line behind us began to grow and eventually got to the door. When we finally got our order taken the staff were nice and the process was smooth. We ordered a hot chocolate and a hot strawberry matcha latte. They do offer a pretty expansive menu with cocktails and other specialty drinks if that's your vibe. Our drinks came out pretty quick and we drank them while playing some pool (pretty cool sentences to say when it's coffee you're drinking). The hot chocolate is fantastic; it has a sweet milk chocolate taste similar to Dutch Bros but a bit better in our opinion. The strawberry matcha was just okay, much more on the earthy side with a nice hint of strawberry in it. The bottom of the cup had a lot of semi absorbed matcha in it which was a bit unenjoyable to finish a drink off with. We really liked the setting of Stargazer and it's hard not to. Between the funky vibe, cool events going on, and games, it's a lot of fun. The service leaves a bit to be desired and the drinks were hit or miss, but it's a place we would come back to, especially with things like pickleball and rock climbing nearby. We're looking forward to coming here again and seeing if things are different, but for now we feel this place warrants a placeholder of 3.

Super cute spot that feels modern and cozy, with plenty of seating and little nooks for conversation. Parking was easy for a Friday night, but the place itself was a little tricky to find since I didn't see an official sign. I was there for a social event so didn't get the chance to try more than one drink. I had an espresso martini and it was great, with just the right balance of alcohol. The bartenders were funny and friendly, which made the experience even better! Lots of drink options, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Definitely want to come back and try more!

THE BIG: Located in the Springdale neighborhood of east Austin, next to the rock climbing gym. Very vibey spot with good lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking in the lot outside. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with the wife for a comedy show at Stargazer. The place is very unique with super tall ceilings and these giant disco balls hovering the air. There seemed to be a back area with more seating but that was closed off as the front portion was the comedy show. Also a nice little bar was off to the left side of the building for drinks. You can also BYOF, so we got a pizza from bambinos and ate it during the comedy show. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, I spent around $10 for a drink here and definitely would come back to chill or watch another comedy show.

Part coffee shop, part. cocktail bar, party cutesy venue - I envision small open mic nights or comedy shows in this space. And guess what, when I checked their website I saw that they do all of that and more. Book swaps, trivia night, concerts... I met up with a colleague for a caffeinated meeting - though we were both so tempted to try the frozen aperol spritz! I'll def return for that. The wifi worked, the tunes were good, loved all the plant vibes. Only thing that wasn't so great was being swarmed by flies. Dunno why, but they were obsessed with my matcha.

Unique place, friendly folks. Lots of indoor and mostly outdoor seating. The Pilsner that my husband got was very good. I got the brown sugar butter latte, it was ok.

Saw signs for this place so felt inspired to check it out for a Friday happy hour and what a delight that was. It was busy in the front area with people wrapping up their work day. Super casual, especially since it's a coffee shop in the morning. The back area is a secret gem. It looks so fun! I want to bring some friends back here. The bartender was telling us about all the fun events they have throughout the week like open mic nights and comedy. Definitely need to check them out. The frozen margarita had a $5 deal. I'm not sure if it was just for Fridays or an everyday happy hour thing. The frozen Aperol Spritz was really something special. They didn't have any food besides pasties but Handsome Dan's next door had some snacks so we enjoyed that with our drinks from Stargazer outside on the shared patio. Great time and WILL be returning!

Cool spot with coffee and cocktails. Great place to work from on a Friday. One note is would be great to have sweetness and oat milk out so that I don't have to keep disturbing the barista. Didn't love the taco truck outside (portions are huge) but the Greek sandwich truck is a must try.

One of the most unique spots I've ever been to Austin I've lived here for over 18 years and I can't believe that this was a hidden spot now will be my go to spot just cause of how gorgeous the environment is ambience way out of the top service was so diligent and quiet and nice was early in the morning just one opener and it just felt so homey. Drinks, what can we say about tea it was so good I can't believe that. It's just a hidden local spot that we could have all gone and visit and we should

I am here in Austin and always looking for new spots for drinks and coffee. Stargazer has an excellent selection of cocktails and coffees. I loved my Cosmic Cruiser cocktail made with Toto's vodka, raspberry and blood orange syrup. With a great indoor outdoor ambience Stargazer is wonderful for a lazy day with your kids and pets. I can imagine it's also great to work or study during the week, or play boardgames with friends over the weekend.

This place sits on busy Springdale Rd tucked behind some other businesses. It's actually almost not even visible from the road. It should be mentioned that parking can be a real problem during peak hours. As the other reviewers have already mentioned, it is a good place to bring your friends, the kids, your laptop and your dog. Connected to this business is Hansome Dan's bait shop, a climbing place and other businesses. The place is divided into two parts by a line of oak barrels. At the entrance is the bar and several tables to sit at while music plays loudly overhead. Behind the barrels is a room that can be rented out for private events or overflow. The back room still shows traces of the former East Ciders tank farm footprints. There's also plenty of seating outside under umbrellas and shade trees. There's also a small live music stage, but there's only one unisex bathroom inside. You'll find a couple of cozy couch nook areas and a foosball table. Perhaps due to the high ceilings the AC struggles to keep it cool. Along with coffee and some decent alcoholic drinks, including frozen drinks, they have baked goods and ice cream. One thing I noticed is that as the evening starts to cool off with the setting sun, it becomes a relaxed and romantic place setting. 10 informative photos to get you more familiar with the business.

I felt the vibe instantly, like as soon as I put one foot in the door. Magical, sophisticated, worldly, wonderful and more were the feelings that spontaneously hit me. The dark and elegant decor, lighting, design, & layout made me feel as though I were in a high-end Tokyo cocktail lounge. The front room as I mentioned is an intimate bar and lounge area with artwork adorning the walls. It's a modern, minimalist, and sleek space. The artwork is ever-changing (every couple of months or so) and the cocktail menu changes right long with it. Note: artwork is available for purchase. What an absolutely glorious way of combining different mediums (liquid art vs physical art). The craft cocktails & mocktails are the epitome of works of art. I've had great cocktails and mocktails elsewhere but honestly I'd be hard pressed to find anything on this level. You're taken into an entirely different realm just watching the genius of mixologists. It's mesmerizing watching them hone their craft. In the back of the lounge is an enclave of eclectic art and other pieces that then leads you to Konbini, the sushi bar. I was pretty bothered by my experience here. Even aside from their mid drinks, it felt like we were constantly chasing down servers and they were only attentive when they needed something from us. We went to the photobooth to take pictures before we sat down, but the machine ate my money and broke down. I let a server know, and he came back and said he would comp $20 off of our meal, which I was happy about. I honestly only wanted them to refund me my $10 for the photobooth strip. However, they came back a few minutes later and gave us a photo card and told us to use it to pay for the photobooth and it could be used an unlimited amount of times. I was also happy with this solution, but what happened afterwards left a bad taste in my friends' and my mouth. We hadn't gotten menus or been asked what we wanted to order yet. We were just waiting around for drink menus and food menus, so we didn't want to get up and go take photos when they might come back to take our orders. The manager (?) came back to me a few minutes later and asked if we had taken photos yet, and I let him know that we were waiting to be given menus. He said someone else would give us menus, and another server gave us only a drink menu. A few minutes later, we are still waiting for food menus. The same manager came back and asked us to not lose the photo card. At this point, we were frustrated. Why come back constantly to ask for a photo card when we haven't even been given our food or our menus yet? When we finally got our food, a different server asked if we had given back the photo card yet. They were so pressed about getting this photo card back and not actually getting our orders, and we also thought it was a bit distasteful to offer a solution (the $20 off the meal) but then go back on it with the photo card. It was presented as "unlimited" swipes but we were rushed to give the card back, and realistically, we only had enough time to take one set of photos. The drinks themselves were truly just okay. I don't think any of us were particularly impressed with our drinks, but the interior of Papercut is really nice and intimate.
