They had karaoke and they had dancing. Everybody who sang karaoke basically saying stuff from like Perry Como to Elvis to really old Dusty songs, and the old people were dancing and they were having a good time, but they do need to bring it up a bit. now I'm not gonna sit here and criticize it. It is actually a lounge for the older generation I assume but after 9 o'clock I think they should allow somebody at least in their 40s or 30s to start bringing the joint up and not having their regulars go in there and try to do a skit and people trying to figure out what the Russian chick is doing. Because we were all wondering what was going on and somebody had mentioned that the woman was Russian and that she does a skit with her husband and it was fun watching her dance, but I couldn't figure out what she was trying to saying or what she was trying to do on stage. Would I recommend this place to anybody. Maybe people 60 and above . Would I recommend it to anybody in their 40s probably not if you like country music you might be able to do some line dancing here they do have some regulars and they are very good on the Dancefloor and very entertaining to watch but as for a younger crowd, perhaps in their 20s and above, you will not see them here. And they just need better rotation on karaoke based on people singing the majority of people who were singing were older and they needed to change it up a bit by having young and old saying so we can have younger people come in and older people stay to listen and vice versa, I think the club would really be jumping if they had more music to cater to everybody and the majority of people who come into an establishment they want to be able to recognize music, but it shouldn't be all night with the same type of music. I don't think everybody wants to listen to Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra all night. They might wanna hear some Bruno Mars they might want to hear Madonna. They might want to hear Drake give them a chance to do that. Rotate the people especially on karaoke and change the music up a bit. read more

Shoutout to the bartender and the patrons that visit this bar. However the lady who either owns this place or at least runs the karaoke portion is a literal buzz kill. We came here for a dual bachelor and bachelorette party. We all had submitted tickets and when each person from our party went up to sing we stood on the dance floor showing our support and sang along to the songs. Yet the lady who ran this literally told us "the regulars are covering their ears because we are being too loud" and that we were losers creating a "loser club" saying really critical and mean stuff when this is meant to be a fun environment. Really killed the vibe and made it very discouraging to have a good time because she was being so picky. All the regulars were 60+ singing the slowest most basic country/classical music (which don't get me wrong a lot of the people sounded FANTASTIC) but it's really discouraging for younger crowds where you feel like you're being avoided because it's not meeting their standard. I would've rated this place higher but this lady really ruins the vibe. I wouldn't come here for a good time and just leave it to the regulars at this point... read more

Bartender was great! Drinks were made well and were very affordable. However, this place is very obviously locally favored. If the lady running the place doesn't like you or your song choice you will not be added to the rotation. She was rude from the get go. When we asked simple question she was snarky and condescending. This is far from a local karaoke place and more so a spot for the local retired community to get together. We were there for four hours and sang one time despite submitting several tickets. When we asked where we were at in the rotation they claimed to have not received any tickets from us and they weren't accepting anyone else. They even kicked out someone else for "singing too loud". The whole place is rigged and they're just looking out for themselves. Don't even waste your time if you're looking for some actual karaoke. read more

I really enjoy this place!! I come most weekends to dance and sing! KJ John is nice and plays a good mix of country and dance music! Karaoke is fun too! I have met so many wonderful people here just so sweet and fun to hang around and with!! The bartenders are also great and take good care of us! This is one of my favorite places to go in Laughlin!! I have been having fun at the Dance Club with karaoke for approximately 1 year and am thoroughly enjoying it. KJ John is a great guy who does his best to bring about everyone there having a good time. Occasionally things go wrong but KJ John manages to resolve the issues to the best of his ability. Dancing from 5 to 8 with a mixture of music but tends to be mainly country. 8pm karaoke begins and if you wish you can still dance to the karaoke singers. and be one yourself. I gave it a 1 because you have to give a one star. We went for a little karaoke. The guy running the show was the absolute worst KJ that I have ever come across in 20 years of singing Karaoke. I'll just leave it at that without using poor language. Mr. Laughlin, you are better than this guy. He is terrible. He puts in anybody that he wanted to go in for the rotation. Mr. Laughlin Go over to the Hide Out on Friday Nite, there is a little gal up there that is truly unbelievable. I actually came to sing at the Riverside, but never again. The Dance Club is great for those who LOVE to dance! It is a DANCE club. The floor is packed every Friday eve with amazing dancers and karaoke afterwards for those who love to sing. For the comment from someone in the younger crowd who thought it should change, there is a place downstairs called the Loser's Lounge that has a band and the party that you are looking for. This place has some seriously reasonable drinks. I was shocked that I got two drinks (not watered down either) for less than $11. There's a whole half of the area that's nonsmoking which was very nice for my party. The drawbacks were that yes it seems like a much, much older crowd come here. Also someone in my party put in to sing a song and we waited over an hour until he was finally called up, even though some people were singing a song and coming up with other friends and singing more. We went and stayed at Don's with another couple and headed up to do karaoke. 2 our of the 4 of us sing karaoke. In 4 hours they got to sing twice which was confusing because when we entered there was only like 10 people in the bar but at least 15 people went up and sang before the guys got to sing. Ridiculous. And they don't go by any order from what we can tell. They pick and choose who goes when because a gal was just writing down her song when my husband went up to turn in his ticket and she got to sing before my husband. And if you have that many people waiting the KJ should not be singing in our opinion. It's for the guests not the employees on duty. But whatevs. We won't be back read more

We stopped by on a Friday on our first time in Laughlin, we really loved the bar itself, the set up, the decoration, it was really nice! We thought "karaoke, how fun"... senior community center karaoke fun night, full of what seemed locals. We stayed for a while for the drinks and because the bartender was nice, and we had been walking around looking at other lounges all night so we were tired lol and apparently Mr Laughlin shows up everynight for a drink too. Missed opportunity here for more business, because that place could be really fun, but to be fair, the people there seemed to be having a good time. That being said, if you are not in your 70s or 80s you may have more fun somewhere else. read more

Very nice karaoke bar/club nestled on the second floor of the River Side Hotel.. The staff can be a bit standoffish so you better wear your leather hide when you come in there. Also keep in mind this place is a cigarette smoker's heaven, if you smoke and you have tough skin you should be fine dancing drunk to someone's offensive rendition of their karoeke pick. Gotta love the bartender as long as she's in a good mood, just tip her a few she'll warm up lol, she was real shitty towards us.
