My rating is. 4.9 As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly--it immediately felt like a fun, welcoming spot! The decor is super cool, with life-size replicas of La Chilindrina and El Chavo del Ocho where you can snap some fun photos. They even have props you can put on, which adds a playful touch to the whole experience. The place is split into two main areas: one for dining and the other with a full bar, pool tables, and karaoke. Bonus--it all glows! Such a vibe. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options. I was especially impressed by the massive baked potato piled high with meat--seriously, it's a must-try! They also had a dessert with fried plantains topped with strawberries and condensed milk... so good I had to take one to go! Service was friendly and attentive, though one small hiccup was having to grab our own utensils. It wasn't a big deal, but it would've been nice to know up front instead of waiting to ask. That said, it didn't take away from the overall great experience. Some items are served in to-go style containers, which felt a little casual for dining in, but again, not a dealbreaker. The ambitious was not to our liking because of the fowl mouth music that was playing. It was fowl and vulgar. If our grandson was with us we would have had to turn around and left. NOW for the good part of my review. The food was amazing !! The waitress we had was on top of it. I had the Barriess Tacos I spelled it wrong I'm sure and my wife had the half chicken they bbq themselves outside. We wont be back because of the typo of music that was playing. But if you don't mind vulgar music this place has really good food and it's too bad the music they play because that place should be packed. read more

Cool little Mexican food place in Bullhead City. We stayed at Harrahs, and got tired of the restaurants, so we cruised over to Bullhead City and found Tacos and Beers. Really good tacos!! And big icy beers! I had a special which was 3 tacos of my choice, rice & beans. All were outstanding! We also ordered an appetizer of chips & salsa, and the chips were perfect!!!!! The food could be a lot better. I ordered the hamburger with fries it tasted bland. My oldest son ordered asada fries he said they tasted like a McDonald's McGriddle what! yes that's what I said. My youngest one ordered the carnitas quesadillas that was ok put very greasy. The service was excellent the waitress came by asked if we needed anything and filling our drinks. We did like the inside of the restaurant fun and enjoyable. I wouldn't go again not worth spending my money. read more

Nice cool place to go on a hot day, despite the flys. Not sure if our server was not feeling it, but a smile goes a long way to getting nice tips that and bringing the guest check to the table. To the owners if you charge $15.99 for 3 tacos and a 1/4 cup each of beans and rice you could serve the food on real plates either real flatware. At least the beer was nice and cold. read more

I ordered a margarita with a specific tequila - one for me and one for my husband ... they charged us for 4 separate drinks around $15 each. I asked the server about it and she said that's just how they do it. Trust me when I say the drinks they served were not worth $30 each. Also, I've been there 3 times and each time it took over an hour to even order our food. Very slow service. Place was closed for awhile, and when it reopened they had this silly split ordering policy, won't elaberate casue thankfully it is gone. Now you can order tacos from either side, well duh. Anyways, great food, great drinks and good service. Price, well not inexpensive, but what is these days. Been here about 10 times in the last couple of months and every time it has been a good experience. I go mostly during the day, you know, "day drinking" And the crowd has been pleasant and not crazy full. Not sure what the weekend crowd is like? Parking lot is good size but fills up fast even during the day, and be cautious when pulling out, might be AZ but that road is full of socal type speeders. Bathrooms are clean, place is tidy, and AC seems to work great. The decor is very unique but festive I suppose. My wife and I went here last night, Wednesday February 28. Decor is very nice. First thing you noticed is how loud the bar side is just as you walk in. I've seen other reviews about this area being loud,even the employees say it's loud. Why can't they lower it down I few? I had the chili Quiles. Chips were over cooked and the green sauce was not enough. Eggs were cooked perfect for my taste. Wife got the chicken wings and fries. Fries were under cooked. She didn't eat them. We saw a roasted chicken food truck and decided to stop to give it a try. We learned it wasn't a food truck at all. The restaurant just roasts the chickens outside. It is a fast-food style place with tables. The menu consists of tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas and flame roasted chickens. Inside it is a cute little hole in the wall with a fun vibe. They make Al pastor chicken the traditional way -- on a vertical roasting rack. It was quite nice. It was moist with good flavors permeating the meat. Be sure to ask for the pineapple as it is a perfect pairing. We also tried a half of a roasted chicken. It was moist and the marinade/rub was very nice. It came with a few corn tortillas and they had a salsa bar where you could get red hot salsa, green tomatillo salsa, onions and cilantro, limes and more. If we didn't have plans for dinner tonight and tomorrow, I'd come back for the whole dining experience. As it stands, I will have to come back next time I am in town. Sorry kids, I did fail to take pictures. So I guess you will just have to come and see for yourself what the food looks (and tastes) like. Check this place out. I think you will like it. read more
