We had a good time at the Cove Lounge in Aquarius. The drinks were well made, tasted great, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The only thing that fell a little short was the calamari--it was cooked well, but it could have used more seasoning and flavor, specifically since we had to wait a while for it. Wanted to give a special shout-out to the cocktail waitress for her exceptional service (this being December 26, 2025). She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome--something you don't always experience in a busy casino setting. Drinks were delivered promptly, and she checked in just the right amount without being intrusive. This cute, little bar is the perfect place to grab a nice dinner and drink and at the same time get away from the smoke and crowds. We stopped in for a little birthday dinner with a view of the river. While seated at the bar, you have a great overlook of the river! The bartender mostly avoided us earlier on into the evening. When we tried to put a drink order in he promptly cut us off and grabbed a waitress to stop by and grab our food order. He hadn't listened well enough to hear that we were ready to order cocktails.. The waitress was great! She took our food orders and was attentive the entire evening. We sampled the garlic bread and steak sandwich! The garlic bread was deliciously cheesy & the marinara was on the sweeter side. The steak was cooked to order & was melting in my mouth. So so so good! We finally managed to grab the bartender Courtney to get our drinks! She makes a fantastic mojito and even suggested topping it off with sprite once I had drank half of it. We just happened along this place while visiting Laughlin. We were actually staying at Edgewater but they didn't have a ton of great food choices and it was late. We walked over to try the pizza place but they had no seating so we walked to the other side saw this place had food. To our surprise it serves a lot of what is on the menu at the pizza place and it has an Oyster Bar. We chose an appetizer and an entree to share. Well, let's just say, you have to walk clearly through the Casino floor to locate the hidden gem. The ambiance was perfect, not smokey, not noisy. The bartender Jeffery was awesome. He got our cocktails right out. Kamakazi shots for us with a few beers. Then we were greeted by Tommy the waiter who took our order for firewood, smoked brisket with mushrooms pizza. This place is pretty aligned with prices and great place to people-watch. We sat in our high table and watched the boaters on the river and casino gamblers placing their bets. It was awesome lil gem. Summer 2024 Waiter said Wine Wednesday started around last week of June. 50% off a bottle. I like it here, view of the Colorado River. They have video games at the bar, I chose to sit at a table. They also have happy hour, 4-6. $10 select appetizers. I got Blackened Shrimp bruschetta, pretty good! This has to be one of the best specials in Laughlin. I hope it stays for a while. read more

We were not greeted but found our way to an employee and asked if a table was available. We were handed menus and told to sit bellow. After an awkward stand off we found the perfect table with a beautiful view of the lovely Colorado River. I ordered the Naked Margarita and it was beautiful and garnished with a perfect lime slice. Taste is awesome especially if you hate sugared down Margaritas. I was served chios while waiting and they come with a spicy cream/mayo sauce. Very good. Elegant scenery polite waiter. I ordered shrimp scampi pasta. Devine. Well seasoned. My husband ordered the meatballs Andrew F and the staff were amazing at checking for food allergy concerns... This was a pleasant visit. Cant wait to return to eat again! On a side note I will add the price here is steep. My food was great and generally I dont mind paying for quality. Im just not so sure the quality of this location is worth the incredible price. My margarita was $15 for 1!! Great view of the river and the menu is a reduced one from the new River Rock. The free homemade chips are Awesome! Prices are also fair. Great service. We were hesitant in stopping here but so glad we did. No reservations needed. Just walk on in for great drinks and great food. Highly recommended!! read more

Staying at Aquarius tonight for a quick getaway from home in Vegas, my husband and I decided to come have a drink and appetizers before we go to dinner at another casino. We saw while walking around earlier that after 3pm this little lounge area had fresh oysters. Came in about 4:15, found a little table for us, our server, Ricardo, took our order of half dozen oysters and calamari plus our drinks pretty quickly. Brought the drinks right away, and brought the food to us in about 10 mins. Oysters were fresh and not small by any means, calamari was crispy and flavorful. Served with pine nuts, a combo of pickled peppers and a nice sauce with marinara on the side. We would definitely come back for a quick bite next time we're in Laughlin. Missed getting pictures because it looked so good All in all a nice little lounge with low music and a full bar. They have a good food menu - pizza and some other stuff, we came with oysters in mind so didn't look much further than that. Definitely recommend. read more

I'm so glad that The Cove remains open during our pandemic. Staff are always friendly and helpful here. Great to see one of the bartenders from Colorado Belle working at The Cove, Willie! Decided to try the shrimp scampi for a different appetizer- unfortunately, it was very salty and overcooked. The manager did give us a nice discount off the price of the scampi item. First we love this place and the river and Mountain View's! The pizzas and calamari was excellent. But what made our night was our server Maricar (sorry if misspelled). It was a full house last night and she was out numbered and all alone. BUT she was amazing not just for us but the rest of the people in the lounge. I hope she got big tips as this girl must have went home exhausted. She was pleasant, kind and did a wonderful job! Ever since Rachel has taken over things (food and Beverage director) in this place have gone DOWNHILL. Just finished a review of the steak house and this place is heading in the same direction. What was another great place, they just turned their menu into a joke. Almost all the seafood dishes are off including the Crab king Louie salad. How does one leave an antipasto salad on the menu and take this off? They promote this Cove as an oyster bar. They do not even have clam chowder, or oyster chowder. While the service is adequate, the menu now lacks big time. We did eat here weekly as well. Oh, Don't order breakfast in a bucket. Okay, this is Laughlin. Don't expect gourmet dishes. However for a nice location with great view, in Laughlin, this place is wonderful. The pizza is not bad and the drinks are well made. The Cove Lounge & Bar is inside the Aquarius and is a Nonsmoking lounge. I was staying at the Aquarius for my brother's wedding and the entire wedding party and guest too and we all kept the Cove a pretty busy place during our stay. I didn't know I was a martini kind of lady, but thanks to the Cove I now know I am haha. During my stay, I did try a few martinis and my favorites were the raspberry lemon drop, chocolate covered cherry and the most favorite, the pineapple upside down cake. That pineapple upsidedown cake martini is truly the liquid form of the cake, so dang good! The staff at the Cove were great. If ever back in Laughlin, The Cove will be my go to spot! read more

Friendly, quick service and yummy drinks! Utilized the 2 for 1 drink coupons from the Ace Players Card's August promotion. (Great deal by the way!) Per the recommendation of the Players card attendant we got the Pineapple Upside Down Cake Martini and I'm sure glad that we got it. Hands down one of my favorite drinks ever! First the bartender drizzled caramel artistically inside a martini glass and then fills it with a delicious martini! He was quite the artist and mixologist. Next we got a frozen cocktail.
