OMG I LOVE this little hidden dive bar in Laughlin @ the top of the hill. My friend & I always like to come in here to sign a dollar bill to staple up on the wall. We try to stop here on every trip to Laughlin as we do frequent Laughlin a bit. I learned last yr or so when I couldn't find my old dollar bills where I had hung them up that someone broke into the bar & stole the money off the walls...what the heck?!?!? Shame on you! We usually come @ night, the place is always super dead & the video poker machines are super tight. We NEVER win any big $$$ but I'll still throw a $20 bill hoping to hit something & to grab a free drink. I never see the same bartender more than once so not sure if they have a high turnover rate, it does seem like a boring place to work since it seems to never be busy. The food here is tasty stuff. On our most recent trip I noticed the ladies bathroom had been remodeled & inquired with the bartender, she told me that they both had been remodeled and during that time they had port-a-potties outside...ugh! Glad we never came then as I hate using them.....lol But the ladies bathroom looks great! There is a pool table in here & they do seem to have events @ times which we've never been lucky to stop in during that time. This is a must stop while in Laughlin. We stayed @ Harrah's once & we were able to walk up the hill to get to the bar. :-) Oh the bus does run up this way if your riding the bus up & down the Laughlin strip. :-) read more

This place is owned by Gillian's and I definitely recommend for their "bar food" everything tasted FRESH! From the homemade tortilla chips to their salsa! Bartender was sweet and attentive! The place has that dive local feeling that I love the most! I'm staying at Harrahs and didn't want to waste my $$ at normal "casino celebrity" food! And hello $2.50 Buds!!! The food here is awesome. It always comes out very hot and flavorful. I haven't had a bad meal here. The bartenders are always chill and kind. We've been three days in a row just because it's kicked butt. Whoever is working in the kitchen is nailing it. Vibes are good, music is cool, and of course a little gambling is always fun. Roadhouse close to the southern side of the Laughlin Strip and the Harrah's Casino. We came here during the day and we were very surprised how clean it was. Food is actually served so we ordered up the jalapeño poppers and I had the chicken tenders with fries for my meal. The food did take a while, but it was good considering it was bar food. I was super hungry after all that gambling and debauchery at Harrahs, so I decided to venture off the property to get a meal. Why off the property you ask? Well, I had a bad experience at Smashburger the last time I was there, and the Beach Cafe was uninspiring at best. After reading the Yelp reviews on the Guy Fieri restaurant, there was no way I was going to tarnish my insides with another bad restaurant experience at Harrahs. So I whipped out the phone to find a standalone place, not tied to a casino. My Upside app had just sent me an email offering $5 if I ate at one of their advertised places, that on top of 20% back. I figured what the heck, why not. Up pops Old Town Saloon. The Yelp reviews were kind of ambiguous on what to expect, so I figured that I'd see for myself. What did I have to lose. If it wasn't that good, I'd have to deal with a stomachache. Heck, I would have got one of those at Harrahs. So a few minutes drive, and I find myself entering the Saloon doors for lunch. It was quiet inside. Dark too. I wondered if they were closed and forgot to lock up. No, not closed, just quiet. All the patrons were at the bar, their focus entrenched on what the next hand of video poker they were going to get. A murmur here, and there, a clink of a beer bottle, gently being placed on the bar after a swig. Other than the faint sound of music playing in the background, not much excitement. I grabbed a table, ordered a beer, and took a look at the menu. The Loaded French Fries sounded good, so when the bar tender took my order, that's what was going to open the door on this culinary relationship. Not long after I placed my order, a couple donning cowboy attire, (not Dallas Cowboy, fancy cowboy) strolled in and sidled up to the bar. Almost immediately they requested that the music be turned up. And that's when the bar started to come to life. The poker players started conversing, and laughter soon followed. Country music had broken the silence partner, and the atmosphere was looking up. Yeehaw!! Now that there was finally some entertainment, I could sit back and enjoy my basket of Loaded Fries. I have to tell you, those things were quite good. Fresh onion and tomato, hot beef and cheese, (no jalapeños though, the night before wouldn't allow it). It didn't take long before the basket was empty. A perfect portion for a hearty appetite. Quick Tip for the owners of Old Town: Your Loaded Fries are good. Take them to the next level and mix in some bbq sauce with the meat. BBQ Loaded Fries will fly off the shelf. You'll only be out a few more napkins, and maybe more attention will have to be given to the video poker machines, to keep them from all that sticky goodness. read more

We split an order of the Reuben sandwich and she served it in 2 separate baskets with a good amount of fries and a pickle in each which was much appreciated!! We only had water. We walked by on our way from Harrah's to River Lodge and decided to come back for lunch the next day. I'd love to rate their food, but unfortunately when we got there, there were two great ladies working, but neither cooked. We were told a cook should be there in 30 minutes or so. This was at noon on a Saturday at a 24hr bar/restaurant. We did partake of their $4 bloody Mary's and they were actually pretty good! We sat at the bar and slid a couple 20's into the machines, but the machines were locked in their settings. We couldn't make any changes or get some of the games to work. Not a big deal for us, we just cashed out and left. The bloody Mary's weren't comp'd, but to be fair, we only played a couple bucks before giving up and cashing out. read more

The sandwich was tasty and loaded with corned beef. The marbled bread had great texture, soft on the inside. I ordered the sandwich to be split. Had great expectations but was really disappointed by the food!! The menu looks good but was really bad. Chips and fries were so salty they were inedible. Ruben sandwiches were also so salty and vinegary. I felt sorry for the bartender who seemed like she and the cook in the back were the only ones working there. The band was great and it looks like it could be a really fun place when it's hopping, but if it got any busier than the 15 or so people there on a Saturday night, they couldn't handle it. Finally stopped in & gave Old Town Saloon a try. I must say the bartender was fantastic, great service, however the food not so good. There was barely any actual pastrami on the sandwich, the burger was obviously frozen along with the fries, bread was stale and the cook was playing with her hair .... Didn't notice that until after we started eating. The burger was also just drowning in the bbq sauce. Mystery solved. I've driven past this bar on the hill several times as I came to Laughlin and never stopped. I finally did, and it it's everything I expected. Wasn't great, wasn't horrible. My boyfriend and I took a trip to Laughlin last weekend for a little get away. We don't really gamble (don't ask us why we came to Laughlin lol) and we really wanted to grab some drinks and just chat. All the bars in the casinos have video gambling and you have to be an active player to sit at the bar. We were staying at Harrahs and I found this bar nearby on Yelp, which was conveniently located. Pretty much a less than 10 minute walk from Harrahs casino. We came in on a Sunday night, so it was pretty mellow and we were the only ones in there (minus one other couple that we kept running into at Harrahs...Sean and Laura if you see this, you guys rock LOL). The bartender, Kaylee, was so lively and bubbly and had my boyfriend and I cracking up the entire night. In between making drinks she would tell us the most comedic stories and I felt like I was at a stand up comedy show! Like seriously, this chick had me busting up. Kaylee was such a pleasure and seriously gave us the best customer service and overall experience. Drinks were super affordable and they have pool tables and good music. Heads up, you DO have to wear a mask at all times when you're inside this bar, including if you're sitting/in between sips. I'm pretty sure all the bars along the Laughlin strip have the same rule, it's above them and is enforced at a higher level, so be respectful and just follow the damn rules. read more

We accidentally ran into Old Town Saloon by taking our sweet ass time driving past the casino strip in downtown Laughlin. Although it's been 2 weeks past our Laughlin getaway- this review is long overdue. If memory serves me correct- there's a huge LED Grand Marquis directly across the street from OTS & it had something streaming about POOL TABLE/ BILLIARDS. I got so excited. Not that I'm the Best in the West when playing pool. I'm very mediocre. I'll admit it. But, I do like a nice bar, cold drink or two, music playing, & a bite to eat. And this is where Old Town Saloon come in. The parking lot is a bit tiny- so I wonder if patrons are allowed to park on the street or across the street? Mind you- we got here by 12:30pm ish on Tuesday February 6th. Although we were the second & third patrons of opening time- I was seriously impressed w/ how spacious & upbeat the vibe was inside. There were a few TVs on the wall that worked! LOL We ordered The Loaded Fries- BBQ seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, tomatoes, onions, & fried jalapeño peppers. I wasn't too fond of the ground beef texture. It actually reminded me of something you'd find in canned dog food. Perhaps the ground beef's texture was really puréed & soft perhaps? The fries were seasoned just right & those fried jalapeño peppers were THA BOMB!! I can only imagine how bumping this spot can get on a busy night! I would definitely visit again when we do come back in town. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. First of all I left my sun glasses at the table and I know this for a fact and when I had a friend go In and get them they acted like they didn't have them... complete BS. I know I left them at our table. Honestly feel like they stole them at this point. This place is dead and I mean dead, not a person to be seen so you'd think they be happy to get some customers.... Nope. They were rude, have crap alcohol for premium prices and will literally talk to you like you're a brain dead idiot. They will sit there the whole you're trying to have a good night and give you dirty judgmental looks the whole time. The absolute crap of a bar, worst I've ever been to and on top of it all their cheap nasty alcohol gave all of us baddddd heartburn. Worst place to spend your birthday.... They now accept Credit cards which is a big deal! The only reason why I come here is because of Laura the bartender she works 1130pm sat-wed She is the best! A lot of locals and casino employees used to go to this bar on a regular basis however since the theme changed to country music only, the bar has slowed down. They only have two pool tables now they cost $1 in quarters. They have a small dance floor which nobody ever uses. read more

A short uphill walk up the stairs across from Harrahs buffet exit into parking lot. I was impressed, very clean pretty fair size inside, good friendly service. I went to the OTSaloon for the 1st time to catch Monday Night football, $1 street tacos and a $3 Modelo beer. The tacos were small/tiny but delish, there are lots of tv's to watch the game but no Big Screen therefore a 4 star rating. Open 24/7 can look to be closed from outside. I'll try the food next time. They have Rolling Rock beer (very good lager) on tap plus others. read more

Funky little place...good fries & onion rings & fun line dancing on Wednesday. But even with all of that we won't be back. There were 5 of us in the group. My husband who rarely ever accompany me to this place but because we had some friends with us so he decided to come along. He bought the first round and gave the bartender, Kaylee, a credit card to keep the tab open. Then he went back to the area between the cooler & the bar....unbeknown to him that is considering to be behind the bar. Kaylee wasn't at the bar...no KEEP OUT sign....look like a walk way to the other side of the room. A lot of people including me at one time almost walk into that area to go to the lady's room. He saw the brand of beer he like & mistakenly reach in & grab it out of the cooler & wait for Kaylee. When she saw him with bottle in hand she over reacted screamed & yelled & went bullistic, eventually 86 him from the establishment. He left the premises with a friend. I went over & talked to Kaylee. She ranted & raved about that could be a type of robbery.... ROBBERY???? She got his credit card in her till & him standing there with a bottle in hand waiting for her to add to his tab. It was humiliated & embarrassing situation to everyone. My friends & I won't be back. We are not young or unruly drunken group of people. He is 70 years old & have never encounter this kind of uncalled for & rude behavior like this before. I think a gentler words or a sign or a gate to block that access should be used in this scenario. I noticed after the incident Kaylee pull down some sort of a blocker to block that access. If she was at her station or that gate was down to block the access this mishap will not occurred. In hindsight we should have talk to somebody higher up. I realized Kaylee is doing her "job" but I think she is lacking in good customer service. read more
