I had a ton of anxiety before attending classes, but everyone (especially Melanie, Javi, Oscar, Tommy, everyone really) really goes out of their way to make it a positive experience. Dance went from being an absolutely anxiety fear inducing experience to something that is actually fun. I still have a long way to go, but I am thankful to everyone at Arthur Murray for helping me overcome one of my biggest fears. We took advantage of their promotion for 2 private dance classes at 40 minutes long, to learn some ballroom dancing. We are both beginners and this was our first dance class ever! I for one, am not a dancer by any means, I am definitely the one with the 2 left feet and can barely keep up with Zumba classes.. But we had such an amazing time and learned so so So much more than we had expected all thanks to our teacher Anthony. Anthony was patient, super encouraging and really had a way of explaining things where you just get it. I cannot stress how seriously amazing he was; I mean the whole staff here was super and you can really tell they love what they do. I was a…read morechubby kid in the 90s, so it was somewhat embarrassing for me to wear a leotard and tights to prance around as a child. However, the dance teacher (and owner) Jennifer never made me feel out of the ordinary or left out from any of the dance recitals or classes. She always made sure I participated and had a role, no matter how slight. Slowly but surely, I gained confidence over time and was able to dance my heart out in front of strangers despite my size. For plus-sized children, I would highly recommend taking dance classes here at The Little Dance World and to find community in the dance world. I remember making a lot of friends here as a kid and even though we don't keep in touch anymore, I recall a lot of fun times here at The Little Dance World. Whether it be learning how to dance Chinese folklore or hip-hop, I would entrust Jennifer and company to teach your children several things, such as how to be kind to each other, maintaining a code of conduct and professionalism, and learning how to do some fun exercises via dance. Even though I don't dance anymore, I loved dancing when I was a kid and would recommend others to check this place out. Dance is such an incredible mode of self-expression and what better way to get your kids to dance early on in their childhood. She makes sure we're progressing and pushes her students to do their best, but she's also very sweet and funny and her classes are always fun to take. The girls here are also very nice and welcoming to new people. This studios great for anyone that wants to dance and perform but doesn't want to deal with crazy practices and competitions, we're performing nutcracker in December! The studio also has classes for 3 year olds too adults and offers ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary and jazz.

We celebrated our daughter Audrey's 8th birthday party at Art House on May 23rd, and it was truly…read moresuch a wonderful experience from beginning to end! We invited about 10 of Audrey's close friends and classmates, and the kids had an amazing time together. The party started with a one-hour instructor-led art lesson, and every child got to create their own beautiful art piece to take home. This year's party theme was "K-pop Demon Hunters," and Mr. Nathaniel and Mr. Kai did an incredible job bringing the entire theme to life. From the decorations and setup to the fun K-pop music playing in the background, the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. The kids were excited the moment they walked in and had so much fun the entire time! After the art lesson, we enjoyed cake time and play time, and it was so special seeing both the children and parents happily enjoying the celebration together. We are so grateful to Mr. Nathaniel and Mr. Kai for helping us create such a beautiful memory for Audrey's 8th birthday. All of the parents kept saying how cute and creative the party was! But, Arborland changed it all for him! So far, he loves it and that means we love it too. He loves it so much that he started begging us to sign him up for more swimming sessions. Mrs. Krishna promptly obliged. We were a bit concerned about the Covid-19 protocols, but we did not have to. It feels very safe. Bella, the swimming instructor is simply fantastic. She is kind and very patient with all the kids. We plan to attend swimming lessons at Arborland every year from now on.
