I reminded her of what I had asked for, I let her know that what I got was not right. She was not hearing me, and was actively trying to convince me otherwise. No apology came, which would have made a world of difference. I'm not exactly sure why she didn't want to help me purchase the right product, but it was clear, she didn't want to help me. BUT... a few hours later the store manager called me and made things right. This is huge. She was level headed, patient with my uncertainty, and very helpful. He took me to the back to watch my ring get cleaned as well so I didn't have to worry at all about my ring/diamond! She was told that the owner would bring it into the city and to pick it up on Wednesday. She was quoted a price of $10 to $15 and that it would not be higher, otherwise my friend didn't want it done. When she went to pick up her watch today, she was charged $25 and was told the price was higher because it was a lithium battery. The battery was a CR1216 which sells for anywhere from $1 to $4. Talk about being ripped off........ My advice, stay away from this place as they are not trustworthy! She should have gone to Devon Jewelry in Wyckoff as they are honest and would have replaced the battery on the spot.
