I found some great replacements and also bought a pair of dangly earrings. Later that day when I get home, my husband pointed out I was missing one of the earrings! We look everywhere - to no avail. So I email the store a photo of the one earring I have left asking if it's possible to buy just one. Sadly they were out of stock, so I keep looking for the lost earring, without much hope. Fast forward to January 29 (a full MONTH later) and I get an email from Katie saying they got the earrings back in stock and did I still want to buy one? My daughter and her friend were made to feel extremely uncomfortable--being closely followed around the store, repeatedly asked if they needed help, and even questioned about the bracelets she was wearing, as if she might have stolen them. Seriously? I went back to the store to speak with the manager, but no one seemed interested in having a real conversation. When I asked the employee who had followed the girls why she was doing so, she admitted it was because they looked "suspicious." That's not just unprofessional--it's unacceptable. It's disheartening to support a small business only to have your kids profiled and treated this way. I hope they take a hard look at how they treat their customers, especially young ones who are trying to shop independently and respectfully.
