Visiting for a few days and have eaten here twice! The food, atmosphere and service was fantastic! 1st day I had lunch at the Be Happy Piri Piri. I got the chicken bowl and it was delicious! Why 5 stars? Because this is a welcomed addition to an area that needs cool stuff. --- --- --- The Deck recently opened and is home to four different vendors + a bar. These vendors operate out of shipping containers, which is kind of a trendy thing these days. I am a huge fan of this operation after one visit because the vendors all have appealing menu options and because other than Deacon Baldy's and MoCo food hall, there are really not a lot of similar gatherings of multiple kitchens in one spot, within this area. For my first visit, I went to Ceviche Ria and thought it was excellent. I planned on driving down to Tomball to visit their original location, before discovering the much closer option here on 1488. There was a pretty large crowd here on a Sunday evening, about 45 minutes before the vendors started closing down, so I'm glad to see the drive-by traffic here because the social media presence is pretty minimal and this place deserves our attention! read more

Everything we tried was freshly made and delicious. Korean chicken was flawless as well as the appetizer combo plate we tried. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating. Flies are aggressive when sitting and the bar being closed was a bit of a bummer though. read more

Tried this place for the first time. Tried the " All you need is tacos". Had chips and salsa, Horchata, and chicken tacos. Chips were fresh and crispy, salsa was just enough heat lots of flavor. The horchata yummy creamy and refreshing. Very nice young man Rafael. read more

My wife and I dropped by this great new place off of 1488. It had a very "Austin-like" vibe with food truck style stations built out in some very colorful shipping containers. All of it surrounds a very clean deck with covered tables with hanging lights, including TVs, outdoor seating, yard games for the family, clean restrooms, and friendly management. The food was very good as well. Great place to chill on a low key date or take the kids for an enjoyable evening dinner. read more

Works for me! Kid friendly and clean too. I had the Asada tacos from No. 21 Taqueria. I would say if the parking lot is full, then sit down area is too. But nearby offices also walk to this park for lunch. read more

The Deck is the best place in the Magnolia area (that I've tried so far) to get tasty green curry chicken. Made with coconut milk, green curry, onions, vegetables and chicken, this dish is spicy but delectable. This restaurant also serves good bubble tea, but it is a little on the sweet side. If you need a recommendation for a good flavor, try the creme brulee bubble tea. read more

(Go ahead and get that 4th piece for an extra $1) As described, it is sweet but the surprise is the heat punch that all of a sudden says, "Hello!" Fries were good, hot and crispy and really good dipped in the extra Pringle dusting powder from the chicken (not the canned chips, BTW) Good portion size and comes with a drink. Ninja Chicken and the other guys here are serving excellent food in a very clean modern setting.

I was so excited to try this place. There are signs advertising tacos and beer, music etc. I had the ceviche - it was delicious highly recommend. The taco place was out of a lot and super slow. Unfortunately - the bartender had to get cups from somewhere else and then we found out they were out of the beer on tap. What? The sound system was going in and out. Friday night should be the A team and make your money. I really hope this place can get it together, it could be really nice. There was a deck out back, nice cornhole area.
