If you were wise you would never choose this place. I thought retained Roger Bailey as my attorney, that's who I met with and spoke to about my situation. However the day of court he didn't appear, I was told someone was coming in his place. When she arrived she was 2 hours late and brought her kid. Here's the best part, she didn't have any paperwork on my case, she was winging it with her kid and did a horrible job, when I called her on this and asked her why she brought her kid, SHE TOLD THE BAILIFF TO ARREST ME. To follow-up, the Defenders explained they would pay all the fees and charges due to the whole mishap, they ended up not paying the Court on time and the incurring charges ended up going to collections before the office fulfilled their promises. Please do not trust this firm. I thought I was in good hands, but they lied to me and failed to go to court on the hearing day and cost my son 500 dollars. It was a simple traffic ticket, now turned into a possible warrant for failure to appear. I even called their office to confirm and they said they were going to court and taking care of everything. THEY DID NOTHING. THEY never went to court. They lied to me. In fact, they did nothing. It is over two months, and they have been lying to me. The court said No ONE responded to the citation and NO ONE showed up. Now we are paying penalties because of this HORRIBLE company. PLEASE do not use them if you want peace of mind. Would not recommend . I had my first DUI charge and everything seemed to be going well . When I have my consultation they inform me that the contract includes showing up to the DMV hearing for me . 3 years later after my case was closed I get my first ticket for speeding . The officer informs me my license was suspended . During the 2 years my case was opened no one bothered to inform me my license was suspended or at least notify me about how to get that issue resolved . Even a simple email saying " hey you can't be driving your license is suspendEd" or " hey these are the next steps" I would constantly call every few months to get an update from them on my case and no where was it mentioned that I had a suspended license. For the price you pay here and the lack of communication you get it's not worth it . I decided to trust this firm because a friend recommended them even after looking at similar firms that offered better pricing and services included . It was a simple fix on just going to the dmv and getting my license reinstated but I don't understand how hard it was to notify me of what was going on even after I would ask multiple times if there's anything I could do in my part to help my case . I even would call them multiple times after getting the ticket . They'd always tell me someone Would give me a call back No one ever got backed to me all they told me is to go to the dmv myself and basically figure it out . Seriously no one could tell me if they even showed up for my dmv hearing ? or explain to me why this wasn't brought up ?
