Perfect in every way! The Deliciouser delivers an authentic dining experience in Madison. The chef came out to greet us when we arrived. The staff promptly explained the menu and offered some suggestions. Their drink menu is exquisite and contains many unique offerings. The food menu seems to change frequently, which I appreciate. I have always thought that changing the menu here and there can show creativity and test the skill of your chefs--and they are absolutely passing the test. All of the seasonings used on the food are prepared in house! They also sell the seasonings! Shopping and eating? Sounds like a win to me. The ambience is warm, dimly lit and inviting . There are all sorts of unique pieces of artwork and paintings all over the walls. You should definitely check this place out.

I discovered the Deliciouser only a few months ago and finally got to stop in for dinner. Cool restaurant interior with an open kitchen. We ordered the heirloom tomato toast, wagyu beef tartare, the steak frites, and the ricotta gnudi. Everything was cooked well and had good flavors. The sauce in the toast and tartare were very similar and felt a little too saucy for me but it was still good. Steak was cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the aioli it came with.

What an experience for sure. This is one to visit if you're in downtown Madison. Upon first glance you wouldn't realize this was the old bus station but what a face lift. The owner and chef were there making sure everyone was taken care of and not a thing out of place. The 5 course meal provided was one to really admire. Everything was cooked to perfection and servings were perfect for the amount of courses. There is a bar and a wide variety of house drinks or you can go with your fav classic. If ever in Madison do stop by.

Went here for a date night before a concert. The food was fabulous and the service was really great. Our waitstaff suggested awesome dishes. My favorites were the panzanella and the ricotta gnocchi dish. The decor is really cool since the space is so open. There is an eclectic feel with seasoning mixes that they make and sell, local goods that they sell and also the wall of wine for purchasing. Anyway, a great place to go for a nice night out.

So great! Went for a pescatarian curry making workshop, featuring their night market spice blend. The chef was so knowledgeable, and we even got to tour the spice lab! So fun and delicious!! I also picked up their espresso salt which is now my new favorite thing on vanilla ice cream!

This was without a doubt the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. The service was incredible. Prices are more fair than I expected. Drink menu was incredible, food was delicious and desert was unbelievable. Do not skip out on this experience.

    Nice N/A selection to go

Lucky for us, pizza night was on Tuesday. This pizza was outstanding! Better than any pizza we had ever had. Delicious crust, toppings that melded together perfectly and with all this deliciousness, we added some cold beer from the bar. The setting was lovely, the band was great and the customers (mostly locals we believe) were friendly and fun. This is a must go-to restaurant when in the area. In fact, I would suggest that anyone heading towards this part of WI, make sure to hit this spot on a Tuesday in the summer! It will be worth the trip!

Keep in mind that was from a bunch of country folk who don't share my love of quality food, and to be honest I've been pizza'd to death. On a whim I went here a little over a month ago and I have back every Tue for the last 5 weeks! This is a 5 star dive bar/restaurant that I love! The place is really odd, but the food is great. In the back (as in the middle of their yard) they have a stone, wood fired pizza oven. Think of the coziness of your backyard but bigger with a dozen patio tables widely spaced under mature trees while having someone play live music. There are three tables/station one serving pizza, another meat (steaks, ribs, etc) and the third beer and wine, but no feel of commercialism at all. This has the feel of a perfect personal bbq, or of a family gathering, but serving pizza and I mean great pizza, clearly the best in Wisconsin. You get one size, I would say 16-18", for a mere $10 dollars even. My favorite is the gorgonzola and pear with caramelized onions and walnuts, on a perfect crust (insert Homer Simpson drooling sound). Followed by the sausage mushroom, made with home made sausage and marinated portabella mushrooms. They have quite a list of pizzas to choose from. The wine is $5 a glass and beer is $3.75 and they carry all the  local Wisconsin favorites (Lake Louie, Ale Asylum, Capital, New Glarus). They are not a restaurant for say but a shop, although they are open business hours the pizza is only on Tuesday 4:00pm to 8:00pm. They do other cooking events on odd days, I personally have not attended any of these due to the inconsistency that they take place. The food was so good I will make a consorted effort to attend one of the events. They do have seating inside, but no wait staff. I must mention the place is spotless, one of my pet peeves is the dirtiness of some of the independent establishments and I assure you this well taken care of. I don't think this is a financial endeavor but an act of love. Everyone is friendly and appear to know each other. Although no servers there is an army of people helping prepare food in the kitchen, which you ironically have to walk through the end of to get outside. This place is a come as you are, all are welcome place with great food, great people, and live music. What more could you ask for.... I will see you there

She made the drinks, blew right through my precondition and asked how much of the tea I'd like to bring home. Frustrated, I repeated that I didn't want bulk tea and reminded her I told her up front I didn't want bulk tea. She then tried to hard sell me on the bulk tea. I started wondering if I was on a hidden camera show. It was that awkward. There's pressure selling, then there's showing absolutely no regard for what the customer is saying.
