I was going to the dental salon for a few years before coming here and loved them too but made an appointment here earlier this year in the summer when my son got knocked in the mouth by accident with a laser tag gun during a birthday party and could not get an appointment at the Dental Salon to get his tooth checked for trauma. Dr Wier took us in right away to check and X-ray the tooth and I was so happy with the receptionist's (Vicky) friendly service that I scheduled cleanings for myself and my 3 kids in the fall. My 3 & 4 year olds loved their check up and keep asking when they can go back for a check up again, and my son loved them too so I forced my husband (who hadn't been to the dentist in years) to get his check up with them. My husband was blown away and was very pleased by their service. Fast forward to April 2014... All my kids and my husband and I have had check ups and cleanings. They were super thorough! I've never had such a thorough check up so I then scheduled myself for a simple procedure to fix a tooth and Dr. Kalkanas has been wonderful! My son was not afraid surprisingly because felt very comfortable with Dr Bressman. He had nine baby teeth pulled, implants and prior to that he fractured his Condyl bone of his upper jaw!! So fast forward twenty five years... it's my turn to see Dr Bressman (wouldn't go to anyone else) my front teeth needed to be extracted! From his front desk staff to his clinical team, I felt less nervous. I was treated like I was a VIP guest in their home!! The atmosphere was comfortable and highly professional! I think Dr Bressman could have extracted my teeth with his eyes closed but still happy he didn't LOL. The time flew by... and it was finished before I realized! The clinical team made sure that I left with care instructions, cold packs, gauze, and prescriptions and feel free to call if needed. I was called by the office the following day to see how I was doing and today while Dr Bressman is out of town he called himself to answer my questions and to make sure I'm comfortable and before we hung up he said to call again if I need. Ive seen many dentist over the years and none of them compare to Dr Cross. I've been a patient of his now for about 2 years, and has treated all my teeth that were in a lot worse shape than I thought. He put together a realistic treatment plan that I could afford and always put my health first, even when my insurance would only cover a small percentage. If I could describe his character, he's a warrior and saint combined. For his consistent quality work and for helping me not be in pain or make me dread my next appointment financially. Extremely Disappointing Experience - Beware…read more I usually don't write reviews, but I felt obligated to share what happened to me at this dental office. Despite all the glowing 5-star reviews, my experience was quite the opposite -- and I strongly urge others to approach with caution. I came in needing a simple filling for a cracked tooth. Dr. Hossam Abdelsalam did the first procedure, and the filling fell out within 2 days. I returned, and another (more experienced) dentist redid the work. That filling lasted about two months. Unfortunately, when I tried to get it fixed by a different dentist, my insurance wouldn't cover the rework -- so I was stuck going back. When I returned a third time, Dr. Hossam Abdelsalam was immediately defensive and confrontational. He accused me of doing something to "destroy" their work, which was not the case -- the filling came out during basic daily brushing and flossing. He then told me I needed a crown and refused to do another filling. I asked for their decision in writing -- they ignored the request. A few days later, I got a formal letter saying they would no longer treat me. On top of all that, their routine cleanings are very rushed -- nothing close to what I expect from a professional hygienist. It felt like they were cutting corners across the board. This experience has left me frustrated, dismissed, and now dealing with dental issues that could've been avoided with proper care. I'm about to report the situation to the dental board and am sharing this in the hope that others don't go through the same thing. Please be wary of the overly positive reviews and trust your gut.

Unfortunately I am one of those people who is overly sensitive to the newer type composite fillings and I had a real tough time with pain the following few weeks. Dr Gianfortune saw me right away and confirmed by x-ray and inspection that I am just sensitive. It turns out he was right most of the pain has gone away now. The fillings feel smooth and well formed as well. . The Desk ladies were very nice again too and very compassioniate to my sittuation. I am happy I found this place.

My tongue felt this cavity, which a previous Romanian dentist apparently missed -I don't think that it could have grown to be a cavern in about 6 months- at the gum line; the work that that cobbler did actually left what appeared to be a skirt/awning covering it, and I had discovered that it had left the cavity open and just as prone to further deterioration as if nothing had been done. Dr. Gianfortune filled it ...with a resin composite that also was disguising the problem like an awning. Not only was the filling what you would expect to be temporary, but it eventually fell off -at which time I could see that it was as if somebody had filled the opening with chewing gum, or like a Chicago-style street pot-hole filling. Going back? Zero confidence left to do so. Now, I'm looking for a real dentist like crazy, one obstacle after another, hoping that the blasted problem will not degenerate into needing a root canal -and who know what complications arising from it thanks to the next Chicago-style cobbler that will work on it... Additional detail: prior to working on me, the nice dentist realised that the canister used for the water dispenser had to be changed. So, there he goes, tinkering with that maintenance job wearing the same gloves that he was going to work on me with. Shy me, I didn't want to hurt his feelings objecting to this, expecting that he was going to do a really good work and not the disgrace that it turned out to be.
