I was told that they would take care of it and it would be no problem. Initially, it looked great. However, about 6 months ago, a hole appeared. I tried contacting the company and was told they would repair it shortly when they had another job in my town. That was 4 months ago and I have repeatedly called and emailed them. I was promised on many occasions that they would do the repair, however no one ever showed up. As a result, the hole has gotten larger and has become a haven for chipmunks! He said he would be here the next week and he showed up as promised. He tackled three jobs. First, we had some paver stones that settled below the cement causing a trip hazard. Pete made all the stones level. Second, we had some sidewalk slabs that were sticking up due to tree roots. Pete took care of the tree roots and put down nice new level cement slabs. Third, we had two cement sidewalk slabs that were tilting from ground settling. Pete took care of raising the slabs to level again. Overall, great job by a professional, friendly mason. Fortunately places like Unique Concrete still exist where you can get something exactly the way you want. The colors, textures and patterns are all exactly what you want. Unfortunately this is is a blessing and a curse because sometimes it's hard to pick something out. The owner Todd stepped in and showed us some samples and some of the other projects they had worked on so we could nail down a final design with not much effort. To accommodate his schedule I took off from work and we setup an appointment time for him to see the site and discuss various options. My wife and I spent nearly two hours with Barry discussing the entire project down to patterns and colors. We expressed our interest in moving forward with the project and let him know we are sincere in getting this project started. Barry said it would take him a few days and he would be contacting us for a quote. Sadly this is when Unique Concrete's truly colors began to emerge. After waiting a week I sent an email just inquiring if there's a timeframe which we could be expecting this quote - NO REPONSE. Figuring he might not have gotten the email I left a voicemail following up a few days after the email - NO RESPONSE. TRANSCRIPTS AND PHONE RECORDS AVAILABLE TO VERIFY MY COMMENTS So we simply waited another week and attempted another voicemail - NO RESPONSE. Three days ago I left a final voicemail asking if Barry and Unique Concrete is interested in the project or if we should pursue other avenues - NO RESPONSE.
