This place is the least professional, least qualified offering of services in the Metroplex. They do not have on-site physicians or nurse practitioners so they outsource through some weird 3rd parties. They have insane cancellation and penalty provisions (also outsourced) and they only have one practitioner who is usually posting bikini pictures on instagram. Don't plan anything within 2 hours of your appointment either because you will wait in a room for up to an HOUR due to their short staff, lack of practitioners and complete disorganization. This is a puppy mill style operation based on zero substance. Any other option preferred. Stay AWAY from this sub-standard 'spa'. read more

The Botox injections I got made me sick... I've never been sick before, but I think they were expired or something was wrong and the filler I was given, that I didn't want, but during my consul was told I had "resting bitch face" so I agreed too... Later had to be removed by a dermatologist because it was put in the wrong place and I couldn't breathe. The dermatologist later told me that it was on top of my nasal cavity and in the wrong area. Save your money and stay away. Dena was no help when I talk to her and acted like they did everything right, even though I got terribly sick and had to pay another Dermatologist to remove the cheek fillers!. Kristi is fantastic...she is very thorough, gentle with the needle and reassuring if you have any concerns with how injectibles may react. I would definitely return based on my experience with Kristi.. I will not return, however, based on my "after Botox" follow up experience. Kristi said she wanted to see me in 10 days to ensure all went well with my botox injections...the shots had the intended result... so I scheduledan appointment. Due to a work conflict, I had to cancel the appointment. I canceled well in advance of the 24-hour cancelation time frame. When I called to cancel, the receptionist booked a new follow up appointment for me with Dana for 6 p.m. on another day. On the day of my appointment, 2.5 hours before my 6 p.m. appointment, Dana calls to cancel my follow-up for that night. As I was in a meeting, did not get call. She then sends me a text message telling me that I should have scheduled my follow-up appointment with Kristi and not with her since Kristi did my injections. Mistake one...she assumed I did the scheduling, when in fact it was the Dem Lounge rep who scheduled my appointment. I saw Dana's text about 1.5 hours before my appointment. I called and talked to Dana...she told me it wasn't their policy to see people after Botox unless they have an issue...this was contrary to what Kristi said. So not sure what the policy is, but will say this...it was a D customer service experience. The Derm Lounge has a 24-hour cancelation policy; otherwise, they charge the client $50. As Managing Director, Dana should have afforded me the same consideration and not canceled an appointment 2.5 hours prior to my appointment. I had purposely juggled other commitments that evening so I could make my appointment, and I was eager to hear how Dana or whomever thought the results looked. So, from a client experience, Dana should have honored the appointment. It was clear she was not interested in seeing me that night; it showed in the vm she left me as well as in the text. As such, giving 2 stars. I give Kristi 5 stars, but unfortunately, the service afterward was 1 star. read more

She was very knowledgeable, examined my skin and let me know exactly what I needed with out telling me things I don't need for her benefit. Hands down, this is the place to come to get Botox and any filler injected or dissolved from previous injectors who didn't know what they were doing. Again, the confidence both Dana and Brittney displayed today shows they are experts at what they do. Dana injected both my wife and myself with Botox with a technique, confidence and skillet I have never seen before and Brittney used Hyaluronidase (filler dissolver) near my eye trough that has been bothering me for about two years now (my little bump is now gone and couldn't be happier). My wife and I went to two other places before trying the Derm Lounge Med Spa and walked out because of the lack of confidence in the injectors... both Dana and Brittney without hesitation had the confidence to do what most other injectors were afraid to do. Love the Derm Lounge! I was getting a little tired of my current doctor for Botox and fillers and I needed a change so I decided to give the Derm Lounge a chance after other friends gave it great reviews. Upon arrival the staff was extremely friendly, and the look of the spa was fresh and inviting. At the age of 32 my skin decided to have a 15yr old going through puberty breakout. It was awful. I saw the derm lounge had an acne facial so I decided to schedule an appointment. I'll admit, I live by yelp reviews however, whenever I decide to get a facial I want it now which means I have to go to Groupon to find the people that have same day openings. I've been living the Groupon facial life since I started getting facials so I really had no idea of what I was getting was good. Well after seeing Karen at the derm lounge, I realized Groupon facials are trash. Karen was amazing. She was fun to talk to and walked me through every single thing she was doing. I have massive pores and she cleaned those bad boys out to a level I didn't even know was possible! In addition to my Grand Canyon sizes pores I have rosacea and she surprised me with "wanting to try something". She hit me twice with the IPL and scared the bajesus out of me. Karen recommend I come back in 8ish weeks depending on my 15yr old breakouts which I appreciated considering my trash Groupon facials always said I needed to come every 3-4 weeks. I most recently saw Dana for lip injections after an injector at another Med Spa made my lips severely uneven and lumpy.
