John had me try on multiple sizes of pants and shirt to get the best fit, and told me about the different options. I was unimpressed by the service I received by them and the way they calculated measurements (Those services don't actually take measurements and you have input the information yourself). I also had bad experiences with Men's Warehouse in the past with other weddings that I have attended as a groomsmen. I realized that there was a local option in Waltham for me to check out. The staff at Formalwear Ltd were very friendly and knowledgeable. I visited the store multiple times as I collaborated with them and my fiance to select the perfect tux combination for my wedding. I picked up my tux a couple of days before the wedding and the size for some of the parts of it were off, but it was no problem at all as they overnighted the correct sizes. Everything fit perfectly for my wedding. If you need to rent a suit or tux for a local event, I highly recommend them!

Don't get me wrong, the salesman was very helpful pulling sizes and giving great advice. The tailor was also knowledgeable and did a good and was friendly. Things however went quickly south when we got to the cashier to pay. To say that the young woman at the register was rude as an understatement. There was not only a lack of basic retail service skills, but the young woman's attitude was borderline hostile. Basic questions about the breakdown of the charges and any discounts we might be able to take advantage of were met with rolled eyes, huffing, and puffing...at one point she literally walked away and starting ringing up another customer! I've worked retail and know it's a tough job, but this is NOT who you behave with customers, especially when we were nothing but courteous. K&G, do better with vetting, hiring, and training your staff! This was absolutely ridiculous. I'm angry that I had to interact with this person and your company should be ashamed to employ someone like that.

I rented a tux from here to attend a friends' wedding. When I was there, people were telling me I…read morelooked like James Bond! Looking good is part of the mission... The tux and the shoes were also very comfortable. When the dance floor at my friends' wedding was opened, I started dancing and grooving with abandon! The tux performed its duties marvelously. The shoes, though, are the real MVP! Tearing up the dance floor did not tear up my feet! (especially that area between the heel and ankle) The service here was polite and efficient in helping me pick out the tux, get measured, then at pick up getting everything adjusted. They were also flexible about me moving the drop-off date one day later. Drop off was painless also. Tuxedo Time doesn't appear to be the cheapest. All in, the rental cost me $235. However, money isn't everything, and a tux rental isn't a daily, monthly, or even yearly event. Looking good, being comfortable, and having an overall pleasant experience means I won't hesitate to rent from here again should the need arise.
