I stopped in today to have my car washed. Serious thumbs up! There was a very comfortable waiting area. Nice sofa, chairs and TV. It was very clean. I was returned my car looking like it did when it left the showroom. Wheels free of break dust, tires dressed, the windows streak free and the paint feeling silky smooth. It took me years to finally stop, having driven by more times than I can count, it as the first of many, I'm sure. I definitely would recommend. read more

I dropped my convertible Mercedes SL 550 on May 17, 2020 for detail washing. We agree to detail entire car in and out for $110 (small 2 seats car). Since the weather was beautiful I arrived with my roof down and never thought he would not close the roof before washing! When I picked up the car the roof tops was down and I didn't see the problem because I thought he opened it for me. However, when I arrived home and closed the roof to parks it, I realized he did not close the too roof at all and therefore did not wash the top of the car nor the back window inside or out. That was so very unprofessional, unethical and simply sloppy & cheating job! Very sad! No integrity, pride and no respect! I will never go there again and I do not recommend them! read more

Wow!!! I am so impressed. There was a years worth of dog hair in my jeep (2 large long haired dogs and 1 large short haired dog). It was embarrasing. I asked the detail doctor, "please help, do whatever it takes". I picked it up late after they closed and couldn't believe my eyes. I am not kidding when I say there is not a single dog hair, anywhere. He and his crew spent all day, but they did a fantastic job. Not a single hair under the seats, in the cracks or crevasses. Is this really mine? I've never seen any cleaning like this. I'm so proud. I'm taking the top and doors off this morning and plan to show it off all summer. No dogs allowed!!! Was traveling from out of town and needed my Jeep Wrangler detailed. They were very quick, but got all the dirt and grim from my Jeep. My Jeep had layers of dirt from the construction site I work, and they hand washed it in less than an hour. The guys are very professional and cared about customer service. They don't just wash cars; they actually detail them. Note: they moved locations from the corner of the intersection, so I had to call them to get the right location. They're in the same shopping plaza, but they're in the back now. read more

My husband and I both have cars that cannot go through a standard gas station car wash. Mine is a convertible sports car, and his is... well... brand new. And we all know about gas station car washes: water is sprayed on your car, a standard soap is then squirted out coating the entire thing, spongy little tentacles then beat the ever-loving-heck out of your car without regard to your side mirrors and radio antennae, you're rinsed off, "dried" off and then sent on your way. But wait... your windows weren't washed, your tires weren't cleaned, the dashboard is still covered in pollen, and your floor mats have dirt on them. What? Really? Is that all you really want? Is that how much you love your car? The Detail Doctor is amazing. And I don't give out 5 stars all willy-nilly to just anyone. They have multiple tiers of potential washes/waxes/detail and beyond. They can do everything from my tiny little two-seater convertible and other standard cars to vans, large trucks, 18-wheelers, RVs, and even BOATS! And they don't have a backlog, line of cars waiting to be taken care of - they get a car in, the wash it and you're out. I've been there at least a dozen times and the longest I've ever waited was 30 minutes (of course, that was wash, wax AND detail) - and they were slammed! Most of the time (for a standard wash and detail) it takes about 15 minutes. they get your tires, the wash the windows (inside and out), the clean the dashboard, the vacuum out the entire car, and would you believe it -- they DON'T charge you an arm and a leg! Their staff is very friendly and personable, their prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay (not too high, not too low) and you get amazing quality and service. Also, they have an indoor seating area with magazines, tv, chairs, couches and a bathroom. Just so you can be comfortable, whether it's hot or cold outside. Something to note: they are not open on day's that it is raining (seems like a no-brainer, but you'd be surprised). read more

Excellent service! My Jeep had a water leak and the when I arrived at Detail Doctor, the inside looked like the Everglades. Ray took immense care with the interior detailing and did a fantastic job. Fantastic job on my 1959 classic with average dull paint job from 20 years ago....hand buffed with clay bar so as not to hurt the urethane paint. Then took my 10 year old convertible to him...very happy. read more

The guys here were great. My wife's car had gotten paint mixed with dirt splattered all over the side of it. Other places would not even guarantee if they could get it out. They completely removed it and made the car look brand new in the process. I will definitely go back and would highly recommend their service. read more

I took my Astro van fully expecting them to say that it was too far gone and wouldn't touch it or that it would be much more than I was willing to spend. Mr. Wallace looked it over, inside and out and said "no problem, we can do it". The price he quoted was much less than I was expecting. When I picked it up, I was beyond impressed. It looked better than I anticipated it ever would again, inside and out. I told him than when my schedule allowed I was bringing my Camry in. These guys do a great job. I've taken my car here for a full polish, as well as regular washes. The normal interior/exterior is about 25 bucks, and that's a couple guys working on it for nearly an hour. Highly recommended. read more

My first time experience at Detail Doctor is one I would always remember. I am a business owner in the Tucker area who decided to get my car interior detailed at this local establishment. In the end of my detailing experience, my ipod was missing. I asked the owner and the employee who worked on my car several times if they found my ipod and they both said they didn't see it, the owner went on to say they have proceedures when personal items were found in the customers cars that they follow. It is quite obvious that the proceedure/s went out the window when I took my car to be serviced that day. My ipod was left in MY car in the drivers door compartment and miraculously grew legs and walked out of my car. I was highly upset because I am a business owner myself and I would never allow any of my customer's personal items to go missing especially under my supervision. I work on customer's vehicles daily and they leave their personal possessions in THEIR cars all the time and I don't touch it. I assumed that Detail Doctor portrayed the same values and principles. Maybe this incident might have been my fault for leaving such a pricey and valuable possession in plain view for someone who didn't have the common decency or morals to put back something that didn't belong to them. It is quite obvious that the employee who took it didn't even feel guilty. If he did, he would have called to notify me to come back to retrieve my misplaced item. Instead, both the owner and the employee is sticking to their stories. I would never return to this establishment nor will I ever recommend any of my customers to go there. Shame on you! read more

These folks can't be trusted. I asked for a full detail for my truck, got a call that it was ready which was really fast turnaround. Then they asked how long would it take me to get there which was a strange question to me, told them 15 minutes and then they asked if I could pay cash because the credit card machine was down. Told them to call me when it was back up, didn't have cash and they wouldn't accept a check. So I go to pick up my truck, look it over and it was a terrible job, missed spots vacuuming, terrible wax job and there was no trace of armor-all on the interior, my leather was as dry as a bone. They tried to rip off their owner by asking for cash and then rip me off by not doing the full detail. Stay away. read more

I took a car to the detail doctor to have the full detail. Inside and out, including the engine compartment and trunk. They called and said it was ready to be picked up. When I showed up to get the car, I did an inspection and the 'finished product' was terrible. The car looked good at first glance but as I looked closer it was a very shoddy job. There were acorn shells left in the valley of the engine compartment. The convertible top still had the same spots I had pointed out to the owner when the car was dropped off. I had asked specifically about the spots on the top and about cleaning the trunk. He had assured me he would 'take care of it'. There were the same sunflower seeds under the spare tire. They didn't even bother to vacuum the trunk out at all. When I looked at the convertible roof, not only were the spots till there, but there was all kinds of pollen left down in the crevices. I opened the door and in the molding there was a ton of pollen that I wiped out with my FINGER. I pointed this out to the owner and he had some of his employees vacuum the engine compartment. He kept telling me that the pollen would 'just come right back' even if he wiped it off. He insisted that the spots on the roof could not be removed and that the roof was dry-rotted. It absolutely was NOT dry-rotted!! It became obvious that he had NO concern about any of these issues. When I went inside to pay him, I asked what he was planning on doing to address the substandard job. He said, and I quote, "Next time, I will go through it 100%"?!? What the heck? Next time??? Ain't gonna be a next time, chump!! So, I took the car straight over to a local car wash and put $2.00 in quarters in the machine and washed the roof with the standard soap and rinsed it. Guess what? IT LOOKED BRAND NEW!! NO DRY ROT AND ALL THE SPOTS WERE GONE!! These people are substandard slackers. Never once did ANY of them show even an ounce of concern that the job was done well below standard. For $175, I would just save your money and take it to your local do-it-yourself car wash. You will definitely get a better wash than these clowns are willing to give you, and you will have an extra $170 in your pocket. read more
