Came here with a great friend and we had such a fun time! We tried the salad with chicken from the menu plus a shareable plate with dips, lettuce with chicken that was delicious and pretzels and it was actually really good, the portions are pretty big, so it definitely feels worth the price. The food isn't anything super fancy, it's more casual/shareable food to snack on or grab something quick while hanging out and it fits the vibe of the place perfectly. I didn't order alcoholic drinks this time, but I've heard their cocktails are really good. I did try a couple of mocktails and they were delicious too. Our service and nice too, super attentive! It's clean and the golf course is unique - a lot of Austin culture and landmarks are vibed into the golf course. It's a short course, 12 holes but definitely fun. After my Yelp friends and I finished the Game Show Battle Rooms, we decided we needed more bonding time. So we headed to Dirdie Birdie, for a drink. This restaurant and bar has traditional food and drink menu items. It is also unique in that it has indoor mini golf, and lighted mini-golf course on one side of the restaurant and bar. The mini-golf course is well lit with a colorful tunnel as a part of the course. It is definitely an interactive course. While we opted out of mini-golf yesterday, it was fun to take in how the course was laid out and take pictures in the golf cart. We mainly talked about travel, dining, dating and the like. Time flew by. We ordered drinks (Frozen margarita with Tahini, Expresso Martini, and Berry Breeze non-alcoholic drink) and a cookie. The drinks were all made well and enjoyable to drink. We chatted for about an hour and then headed home. Our bartender was super friendly and offered drink suggestions, which were spot on! We went around noon on Friday and it was pretty calm for a while before more people showed up for either Holiday work events or just to play the course. The service was friendly and quick. The putting area was a bit small for the amount of parties that were simultaneously playing. Thankfully everyone was easy going and polite and patient. My wife and I decided to have a Sunday Funday at the Dirdie Birdie. And it was an amazing experience. We started with the mini golf to begin the day. We love the fact that you can order drinks while you play mini golf. They offer bottomless mimosas on weekends and we dove into drinks to start our adventure. The courses are very intricate and fun to play on. I really appreciate the level of creativity and design that went into each course. They were playing great music in the background, which set the vibes. The service was phenomenal. We appreciated our hosts, servers and staff... especially Alyssa. Alyssa was a breath of fresh air and made us laugh throughout the day. And every time we started running low on our mimosas, she was ready with the next round immediately. The location is spacious. In addition to the mini golf course, they have a dining area. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I'm a huge sports fan and I appreciate the fact that there were tons of TVs to watch sports. And last but not least, we enjoyed the food. We ordered the Dirdie Birdie Wagyu Brunch Burger, Par 3 Tacos, Jalapeño Poppers and Spicy Smash Burger. My party and I were here on a Saturday evening after an invigorating time at Activate. We didn't have a reservation, but luckily when we walked in our waitress said it was "dead right now" and our large party was able to be accommodated. Our drink orders were quickly taken and then after having some time to look over the menu so was our food. We had a large party so I thought it was just taking awhile for food to come out, but after noticing everyone already finished eating, I finally decided to check on it. Sadly, this was when I was informed my burger was left off the order and that it can be quickly made for me to take home in a to go container or brought out. I asked for my gameday burger to be brought out. While waiting I was able to try some of the chicken burger which was actually not bad and the fries also crispy but a bit salty. Finally, my burger was brought out and because I was so hungry and was running short on time it was quickly devoured. When our server came to pick up my tray she said wasn't that burger worth the wait. I smiled, but honestly, this burger is not worth a 30 minute wait as despite the tasty description, it was a bit lacking in flavor. However, since the fries were a bit salty it seemed to have balanced each other out. I didn't have a chance to look at the final bill but I believe my burger was comped which I do appreciate. Overall, I think if you are looking for a chill place to hang the Dirdie Birdie fits the bill. For food, my burger was just alright but I believe my other friends were fairly satisfied with their meals. We went here for a work team builder lunch and it was a great experience overall food wise. We had soft pretzel appetizers and let me tell you the queso served was amazing as a way to pair these crunchy outside, soft and chewy inside pretzels perfectly! I ordered the turkey club and I was surprised by a server recommendation to enjoy it cold the next day for lunch leftovers. This changes everything!!! It was great both days but I think you need that chill time to make the sandwich epic. The place has a sporty decor and golf themed. Appropriately named, this place is a great spot to knock back some drinks while playing a few holes of putt putt. There's an outdoor section as well if you would like to get some air while you're stopping by. When you enter you'll check in, create a tab, and then get on your way. While on the course you can order from the caddy who walks around. We ordered a few drinks from their menu ranging from cocktails to beers and all were fantastic and getting drinks delivered to you while you play mini golf is an oddly awesome thing to have. Prices were reasonable given the activity and drinks, nothing too criminal, even for The Domain. The course itself is very fun and unique with hole designs I haven't seen anywhere else. Once you play through the course you have the option of sitting down at the restaurant portion and hanging out which is what we chose to do for a few more drinks. The restaurant portion is sleek and good looking, good enough to visit on its own. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout and the dynamic of the place is very fun and casual. Parking is good since it's The Domain so it remains accessible (please remember to drive safely). A downright fun place to go to with friends, a date, or by yourself (we don't judge). This is a fun place to hang. They have a nice lunch menu, and the indoor mini golf course is fun with themes of Austin. The bar is a large oval-shaped bar that can accommodate many patrons. I've been here twice, once for lunch plus golf, and another for a recent private Christmas party. Both were good experiences as far as food and service went. Only giving 4 stars since the time I played golf, there were a couple of holes in need of repair. Also, please note that they have a nice cocktail menu, but I found many of them to be quite sweet. Wandered into this place while shopping at the Domain and saw they had happy hour specials. We ordered the Frozen Dirdie Marg and the Strawnold Palmer. Enjoyed both. I def recommend the Dirdie Marg if you like something different. It had mezcal which was smokey but if you muddle up the jalapeno slice and lick some of the pickle salt on the rim if is a game changer in a good, unexpected way! I went here for my birthday with my family and it was an interesting experience. We arrived on time but were told we had to wait (just another way for them to make money at the bar). We had non-alcoholic cocktails that were overpriced yet super delicious. The Lone Star + a shot is the best way to do it. A waitress is supposed to check on you as you play but that didn't happen and she was quite an interesting woman... Golf: absolutely awesome! The creative mind behind this place is insane. The second girl was super helpful, gave us coins to pick our balls, explained more about the course etc. We have 3 kids so a family of 5 and what I did not like and didn't fully understand from booking online is that we could not golf as a group. I took it from the website we just needed to make multiple reservations for the same time, but no, we had to split into a group of 3 and a group of 2. So for that reason we won't return as it doesn't work for our family. The course was super cool, you could tell they spent lots of money building this. But the holes were super easy and straightforward. We stayed for dinner and honestly we were a little concerned as we were the only table eating on a Sunday night. We ordered an appetizer, it came out with our dinner but everything was SO good! The tacos were super good just tiny. Loved the pretzels! Loved the rigatoni and the kids loved their chicken. My son said it was the best cheeseburger he's ever had too. They don't really do a birthday desert so we ordered the berry cheesecake, it was good, was just weird that it was a little warm. This place never disappoints! We stopped by last night to watch the fb games and our dinner was delicious. I had the Blackened Shrimp Rigatoni while my bf had the Short Rib. The short rib probably lasted about 5 minutes on the plate -- it was THAT good! You get a great portion of rigatoni so he ended up finishing it off. The shrimp and andouille sausage add great flavors to the dish and make it worth your money! Margaritas were delicious and refreshing. Espresso Martini was pretty good as well. Not only is it a great mini golf spot, the food and drinks are actually good and worth the visit. The interior is fun, eclectic and really cool at night. Held an association meeting here with a large group of people and it's a venue I would definitely come back to. Service was excellent-forgot the waitresses name but she and the rest of her team did a fantastic job of making sure drinks were flowing, food was stocked, and everyone had what they needed. We went with the open bar option and a nice spread of appetizer type foods (pretzels, sliders, chips, dips, chicken wraps etc) all very good. We were visiting The Domain. Check it out!! so we made a reservation but we were late. Traffic is a beast! Who knew? lol either way, we made our way to the bar, ordered two endless summer mules (vodka, lime, watermelon and ginger beer) Amazing!! And fast, efficient service. We had a 20-30 minute wait for missing our call time. No problem. It wasn't a long wait, barely 10 min.. then we played golf on the 12 holes. Very cutesy. Very fun. A neat experience and awesome atmosphere. The host was hospitable, keeping the drinks coming. And there were a lot of groups coming in.. but the flow was flowing.. after our game, we were promptly seated outside and our orders were taken: we got the Leaderboard, and chicken and macaroni. Then I threw up on the way to the restroom. Something about my drink was off. People pay attention to your drinks, especially when you're playing the golf game. Continuously moving and putting down drinks and picking them back up... please be mindful. I can't say for sure that someone altered my drink but I do distinctly remember the taste changing and I even removed the lime, but by then the damage was done. Overall a neat experience, and I would try it again.. just wouldn't take my drink on the course. At least the restroom was clean, they ran out of paper towels. I saw an employee come in to wash her hands and she saw that the paper towels were out.. she did not come back to replace or send someone else to.. that was disappointing bc remember I'm in there barfing my brains out.. I'm no stranger to Peter Pan's Mini Golf on Barton Springs, but with family coming into town, I wanted to impress them with an indoor, modern course. I've only heard good things about Dirdie Birdie and so we made the 40 min trek across town. While the mini golf course itself is small, it makes efficient use of the space with super detailed and creative holes. You'll find several iconic Austin landmarks (RIP Hope Outdoor Gallery) and there's even one hole involving a simulator. There's also a "caddie" to assist if your ball gets stuck or if you need a drink. I wish they either included or gave instructions on the scoring system before you started for first time putters since we were just winging it. After (or before) you putt putt, the other side of Dirdie Birdie serves food and drinks. read more

This is such a fun place. This month they're doing a Happy Gilmore theme. So all the things from that film are oozing everywhere. Audio clips from the film being played even in the washrooms. I feel like it would have been better if it were 18 holes. They certainly could have squeezed it in to the space. Kudos to the creativity behind some of the holes, though. Fun and engaging - the musical one was definitely the coolest/our favorite! Service was quick and efficient. We checked in at the front, paid, and were on our way to mini golfing. I came in to celebrate my birthday and it was a fun activity! There are 12 courses which are pretty cool and there's some cool features though they are generally small. One course was out of order and another course was just inserting your ball into a random drop game which was entertaining but seemed a bit of a cheat.
