A work event landed us at Bull & Bowl for a team outing and dinner and from start to finish we had an incredible time. From the vibes, to the food, and the fun, Bull & Bowl delivered on every level. Located on West 6th, Bull & Bowl doesn't have a dedicated or private parking lot. There is street parking all around as well as paid parking lots near by as well. We made our way up to the second level and were immediately greeted by the staff. We were taken past the bar and mechanical bull to our tables. Service was great! They were patient and knowledgeable with the menu/offerings, and made sure everyone was well taken care of. Drinks were great, an expansive menu with specialty cocktail offerings as well as a full bar, side note they do not have draft here. So far as dinner, their menu is rather diverse and we ordered quite the spread. Food came out fast, accurate, and hot. I opted for their Buttermilk Caesar Salad and loved it. Although we only went for the Mechanical Bull and had a blast, they do offer arcade games, duckpin bowling, karaoke rooms, and more. I say that to highlight the energy here was high and there were a number of groups/parties enjoying at Bull & Bowl has to offer and it was LOUD in there. Not a complaint, just something to keep in mind depending on the kind of evening you're looking to have. Everyone left the evening full and with a smile on their face, and Bull & Bowl will absolutely be on our list when looking to host future team outings. Thanks for the great time.

Came here for a work event. Was the staff nice? Yes. Was the food good? Yes. Did we enjoy the bowl, the riding bull, pool, and karaoke? Yes. But the 3 was for one reason, it was really hot inside and took sometime for AC to kick in. I hope that was resolved, past that, great time.

Visited during New Years Day to watch the IU game and had a blast! Veggie burger and fries portion were large and satisfying. Highly suggest getting the cornbread as an appetizer, it didn't disappoint! The margarita was top notch. I don't usually finish my drinks, but this one I did! Service was kind and checked in on us periodically. Don't forget to check out the bowling! Suggest coming on days they are running specials.

Went in for brunch on a Sunday! Had a great time, excellent service! Food was delicious, would visit again! Didn't see a designated parking lot for this place but found street parking pretty easily on Sunday at around noon.

Had brunch here on a Saturday. Our reservation was at noon and it was chill but the longer we stayed the more crowded it got. It was a game day so a lot of UT fans. The food options are ok. Would love to see more vegetable options but I'm guessing they cater more to the college crowd. I ended up ordering the shrimp fried rice and it was very good. Our server was very attentive and kind. The amount of activities they have is impressive but the cost is more than expected. I was also surprised to see they charge the same amount for mocktails as cocktails.

What a fun find on west 6th street. A group of friends and me went for brunch and fun here. I tried checking in but GPS wasn't registering that I was there and not down the block. Lol We made reservations to make sure they could accommodate a party of 8. Our waiter was awesome and brought a steady flow of mimosas and food. The choices were amazing and tasty. I didn't take pics of the food because we all dug in so fast. We had the Waterloo breakfast, chicken and waffles, truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, hot honey chicken Benedict, crispy chicken tendies, Cajun shrimp rice and the steak and eggs. The bottomless mimosas were yummy in both mango and orange juice. Then my shoe sole came off while we were trying out the riding bull and I guess I was cheering too hard. The waiter went above and beyond by bringing me some shoe glue to attach my shoe back together. We all were so happy and will come back another time.

This place is a solid 3 star place. It's a sports bar with Wi-Fi. I wasn't expecting a whole lot from the food because it is a sports bar, and most sports bars. Don't really have amazing food. I ordered the chicken sandwich and fries and cornbread. I sat at the bar because I wanted to. The server was really nice and let me connect to the Wi-Fi so I could get work done. The chicken sandwich was on the dry side, and I wish it had a little more sauce so that I wasn't left putting ketchup on it. The cornbread was also kind of dry as well, except for the heaping amount of butter that was slapped on top. Overall, the flavors were kind of lacking and it was just a sandwich and cornbread to me. The serving sizes are very filling though. I give it an extra star just for them letting me use the Wi-Fi and sit there until I had to go to my airplane. I also really enjoyed that the bartender made small talk.

Bottomless mimosas and endless games spell out a great time at Bull & Bowl. The location right off West 6th Street is great and the place itself is clean, well thought out, and fun. The bottomless is well priced at $20 and on Sundays they allow games for free. We appreciated that they didn't make the whole table bottomless as we had a designated driver who didn't want to participate. The workers are very friendly and the vibe is laid back and enjoyable. The food was good with 2/3 dishes being big hits. The French Toast and Eggs Benedict were delicious but their breakfast burrito falls pretty flat with no real flavor to it. Can't judge them on that too harshly though since you're supposed to be drunk enough not to mind. The real highlight is the activities Bull & Bowl has: mechanical bull, bowling, karaoke, etc. It's pretty impossible not to have a good time. For the value Bull & Bowl brings we highly recommend it to anyone looking for fun brunch plans in the downtown area.

Came for the bull, and the bull did not disappoint! The fee to ride the bull is $10, but you can basically try it out as many times as you want. We came early on a Saturday night, and it wasn't crowded around 7 but it started to pick up around 8 pm. Located down the street from other bars so could be a fun stop for the night. Food: This place has a good selection of food. The truffle fries and the brussel sprouts are my favorite! Very flavorful and fresh. The cornbread was good but a little underdone for my taste and pretty sweet. We also ordered a Caesar salad which was a good portion, but very cheesy. The strawberry frose was also delicious. Service: Everyone was nice and welcoming, and food and drink orders came fairly quick. Vibe: This was a fun mix between an arcade and a restaurant. The arcade games were a bit pricey, but still cool to check out! There's also a photo booth and duck bowling as well.

Great place for brunch. They had a live DJ who was playing really great music and food was delicious. The place itself is huge and a clean restaurant. Portions of their food is huge! So sharing is a good idea! The Steak and Eggs was a huge plate! And Cornbread is a big recommendation since it's cooked great and tastes wonderful. Only downside during my experience is that it took over 30minutes for someone to acknowledge our table, we only saw 1 server going around tables but other employees were standing at the host stand or by the bar. Had to ask if our server was going to come by but it did seem they never told the server we were seated. Wished the team had more synergy of helping each other out. Overall a great place.

    Mimosa & adorable margarita
    Kailey L.

Hands down #1 spot for a good mimosa deal and an even better time! The menu is on the smaller side, but it does offer some solid brunch choices like avocado toast, the bull-rito, and truffle fries. My main draw here is their $20 bottomless mimosas -- with a variety of flavors (my fav being guava), the servers keep your glass topped off, which is both greatly appreciated and very much dangerous! Easy to lose track of how many you've had... It's a fun party vibe with arcade games, bowling, private karaoke rooms, and even a mechanical bull. Whether you're kicking off your day with a lively brunch or celebrating a bachelorette party, Bull and Bowl is a must-visit for an unforgettable (...well) time!

Pretty good spot. Hung out for drinks and food prior to a night UT game. The 6th street sunrise was good and refreshing on a 95*+ day. We got in a little early before the first games were over. The place started to get full by the time the second game started. Still great friendly service. Note that they do not transition to the lunch menu until after 3:00. The truffle fries were really good, they were perfectly crunchy and the mix of garlic and parmesan was very good. I went with the crispy honey chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked and fried perfectly. My feedback for the sandwich was the swiss did not pair real well with the sandwich so I took it off. The sweetness of the honey was nice but could use a little heat, couple dashes of chulula and presto it worked out. We did not try the big cowboy 100 oz drink but it did look interesting. Basically a huge peach infused tom collins. Good chill place with cool sports fans from all over. Worth the time.

5.14.24- What a neat place! Stopped in with colleagues for food & entertainment/team building. We were seated about 20 minutes before a huge party of 90 arrived. Lively vibes !! Ordered drinks then went to the mechanical bull. I was there to cheer on all brave souls. Much to my surprise, none of the ladies on my team tried to ride the bull. They were afraid of getting hurt. Others did and the struggle walking to even mount the bull was funny. The bowling area was crowded so we returned to our table to eat. Ordered multiple starters including truffle fries and fresh corn bread. My shrimp avocado salad was complex and delicious. I enjoyed this place. The drinks and food are good. It's a perfect hang for friends, date night, or a work function. They also have a cool reserved outdoor area. Check them out!

Is this a kid friendly establishment?

Not really a family environment I'd say, maybe on a weeknight you could get by... I'd skip it for the kids though.

Do they have brunch specials on Sundays (like for food/drinks)?

Parking was a little hard to come by in the neighborhood, but not impossible. I ended up waiting a little over 1.5 hrs after checking in with the hostess and we were able to snag the very last plate of paella! I've had my fair share of paella and I'm in no way a paella snob, but this one missed the mark for me. 1) the portion did not reflect the $34 price tag. 2) portions of the rice were undercooked and very hard. 3) it was way too salty. It did come with a mix of mussels, clams, shrimp, and sausage, with a side of toast, but I can't justify this part of the experience. We also ordered calamari and croquetas. The croqueta was delicious and flavorful, but the calamari didn't stand out. It tastes like any other calamari. The ambiance itself is cute and the service was great, but the food was lacking.

Wow! What an incredible experience at Sixty Vines in The Domain!…read more We made our reservation through OpenTable and mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. When we arrived at our table, we were surprised with a handwritten Happy Anniversary postcard and a beautifully presented gift--such a thoughtful touch that immediately made the evening feel special. Our server, Polina, was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to learn what styles of wine we enjoy and brought us a few samples before helping us choose an amazing wine flight. Her recommendations were spot-on! We also enjoyed a custom charcuterie board and the prosciutto & fig pizza, both of which were outstanding. To top it all off, Andrew, the manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. We loved learning about Sixty Vines' unique wine-on-tap program and appreciated their commitment to sustainability, including composting food scraps. (They didn't have much to compost from our table--maybe a bite or two of pizza crust! ) The only disappointing part of the evening was that we had tickets to a show and couldn't stay longer to explore more of their incredible wine selection. That's just another reason we'll definitely be back!

Our waiter was amazing. He was very attentive knew what to recommend and was very nice and a fun person also. This time we started off with a golden beats and let me tell you they were delicious and the cheese that they use at the bottom is just phenomenal. This is definitely something you need to get. We also started off with the muscles and they were delicious. The broth that they were in was so good. You could literally drink it and you just wanted to submerge your bread in it. I also got an espresso martini to wake up because I've been so jetlagged and it was perfect. it was a good balance of the espresso and not sweet. I love that they don't use milk here unlike other places. My mother got the opera spritz and it was delicious. Very well balanced. It was not Avril heavy like some places tend to do. My mother got the Braised pork pasta, and it was divine. This was full of flavor a good amount of sauce not salty. We also got the chefs butcher pizza and it was amazing. I loved that you can tell they make all the ingredients there and the bread is just so good. Also had some kind of sauce on there with some piece of cheese that just balanced it so good. Definitely thanks to this experience. I will say I will keep going back. I'm thinking maybe when I first swim they were just having an off day but now trying the rest of these dishes. They did really good and definitely a place to enjoy when you're at the domain.

Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.
