Had a really fun Sunday Funday at Bull & Bowl. The food was incredible, and the crispy chicken Benedict is a must-try. Everything came out surprisingly fast, which was a nice bonus. We did have a little service hiccup when our server left us waiting for quite a while. I also understand that things happen and sometimes a busy restaurant gets hectic, so I don't want to judge the entire experience based on that. What impressed me was how Khloe, the manager, stepped in and handled it. She was incredibly helpful and made sure we were taken care of, which really changed the experience for the better. The atmosphere is a lot of fun. Good music, sports playing on the TVs, bottomless mimosas, and games for anyone who wants to make a day of it. There's something for pretty much everyone in the group. Next time I'll definitely be trying some of the games. Between the food, drinks, music, sports, and overall vibe, this is pretty much the definition of a Sunday Funday spot. I'd give this place a 3.5/5 stars. I came here for my boyfriend's birthday brunch with his family on Father's Day. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't very busy, so we were expecting a smooth experience. We ordered the bottomless mimosas, the chili crispy chicken eggs Benedict, and the chicken and waffles. The standout dish was definitely the chili crispy chicken eggs Benedict. It was flavorful, very filling, and easily my favorite thing I ordered. I would order it again if ever come back. The bottomless mimosas came pre-made in a pitcher, which was convenient, but they tasted more like juice than champagne. If you're expecting a traditional mimosa, you may be disappointed. Unfortunately, the chicken and waffles were our least favorite dish. The chicken batter was very thick, little to no seasonings and had a yeasty flavor, and the waffles were much sweeter and cakey than expected. The flavors didn't balance well, and my boyfriend wasn't able to finish even a third of his meal. Service started off well and our waitress was friendly, but as brunch went on we found ourselves having to flag her down multiple times for refills and assistance. Since the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, this was surprising. The biggest downside was the value. For the prices being charged, we expected a higher quality dining experience. While the eggs Benedict were decent, the rest of the food and service didn't quite justify the cost. The ambiance was also lacking. For a brunch spot, especially one we chose for a birthday celebration, the atmosphere felt pretty flat and didn't add much to the overall experience. The corporate group sponsoring the conference I was attending rented out this entire venue, and boy oh boy did we have fun! As one of the first people through the door, I was able to quickly snap a bunch of pics before the crowd arrived en masse, after which I was too busy playing around to take any more... Yum! Had a group bachelorette here, there was 13 of us and we were sat right away. The wait staff was very attentive and we were greeted with a round of shots. A work event landed us at Bull & Bowl for a team outing and dinner and from start to finish we had an incredible time. From the vibes, to the food, and the fun, Bull & Bowl delivered on every level. Located on West 6th, Bull & Bowl doesn't have a dedicated or private parking lot. There is street parking all around as well as paid parking lots near by as well. We made our way up to the second level and were immediately greeted by the staff. We were taken past the bar and mechanical bull to our tables. Service was great! They were patient and knowledgeable with the menu/offerings, and made sure everyone was well taken care of. Drinks were great, an expansive menu with specialty cocktail offerings as well as a full bar, side note they do not have draft here. So far as dinner, their menu is rather diverse and we ordered quite the spread. Food came out fast, accurate, and hot. I opted for their Buttermilk Caesar Salad and loved it. Although we only went for the Mechanical Bull and had a blast, they do offer arcade games, duckpin bowling, karaoke rooms, and more. I say that to highlight the energy here was high and there were a number of groups/parties enjoying at Bull & Bowl has to offer and it was LOUD in there. Not a complaint, just something to keep in mind depending on the kind of evening you're looking to have. Visited during New Years Day to watch the IU game and had a blast! Veggie burger and fries portion were large and satisfying. Highly suggest getting the cornbread as an appetizer, it didn't disappoint! The margarita was top notch. I don't usually finish my drinks, but this one I did! What a fun find on west 6th street. A group of friends and me went for brunch and fun here. I tried checking in but GPS wasn't registering that I was there and not down the block. Lol We made reservations to make sure they could accommodate a party of 8. Our waiter was awesome and brought a steady flow of mimosas and food. The choices were amazing and tasty. I didn't take pics of the food because we all dug in so fast. We had the Waterloo breakfast, chicken and waffles, truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, hot honey chicken Benedict, crispy chicken tendies, Cajun shrimp rice and the steak and eggs. This place is a solid 3 star place. It's a sports bar with Wi-Fi. I wasn't expecting a whole lot from the food because it is a sports bar, and most sports bars. Don't really have amazing food. I ordered the chicken sandwich and fries and cornbread. I sat at the bar because I wanted to. The server was really nice and let me connect to the Wi-Fi so I could get work done. The chicken sandwich was on the dry side, and I wish it had a little more sauce so that I wasn't left putting ketchup on it. The cornbread was also kind of dry as well, except for the heaping amount of butter that was slapped on top. Overall, the flavors were kind of lacking and it was just a sandwich and cornbread to me. The serving sizes are very filling though. I give it an extra star just for them letting me use the Wi-Fi and sit there until I had to go to my airplane. The bottomless is well priced at $20 and on Sundays they allow games for free. We appreciated that they didn't make the whole table bottomless as we had a designated driver who didn't want to participate. The workers are very friendly and the vibe is laid back and enjoyable. The food was good with 2/3 dishes being big hits. The French Toast and Eggs Benedict were delicious but their breakfast burrito falls pretty flat with no real flavor to it. Can't judge them on that too harshly though since you're supposed to be drunk enough not to mind. We came early on a Saturday night, and it wasn't crowded around 7 but it started to pick up around 8 pm. Located down the street from other bars so could be a fun stop for the night. Pretty good spot. Hung out for drinks and food prior to a night UT game. The 6th street sunrise was good and refreshing on a 95*+ day. We got in a little early before the first games were over. The place started to get full by the time the second game started. Still great friendly service. Note that they do not transition to the lunch menu until after 3:00. The truffle fries were really good, they were perfectly crunchy and the mix of garlic and parmesan was very good. I went with the crispy honey chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked and fried perfectly. My feedback for the sandwich was the swiss did not pair real well with the sandwich so I took it off. The sweetness of the honey was nice but could use a little heat, couple dashes of chulula and presto it worked out. We did not try the big cowboy 100 oz drink but it did look interesting. I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at Bull and Bowl with a bartender named Megan. My friends and I were the only group at the bar, just having fun and enjoying the mechanical bull. When I tried to order shots for our group, including my friend Rasheel who is Indian, Megan suddenly refused to serve anyone in our group. When I politely asked if something had happened or if there was a reason for cutting us off, she gave no explanation, slammed drinks on the counter, and acted like it was "her show." The way she handled the situation felt targeted and discriminatory, which made the entire group uncomfortable and completely ruined what had been a good night. This was not just bad service. It was unprofessional and unacceptable. I have a large social following and plan to share my experience so others know how customers are being treated. Management needs to take this seriously and ensure that guests are treated fairly and respectfully. read more

I was excited to try it since it recently opened and looked really cool judging from the pictures. The place felt spacious and gave off very cool vibes just like the pictures I had seen. They had just opened for the day when we got there so they seated us at the bar where we could also order food. I was a little disappointed when they brought out the recently updated menus since I had looked up their original menu online and they had cut out some options that I had been excited to try. For brunch, they didn't have many classic brunch menu items. The prices were also fairly high - I ended up getting an avocado toast and that itself was $13, not including the cost of the egg I got with it. It was delicious to say the least, but it's also difficult to mess up an avocado toast. The drinks were good - we got mimosas and I asked for something sweet, to which the bartender made a little pink cocktail that delivered on sweetness. We played some billiards which was fun, but I honestly just felt pressured to hurry since it costs $15 per hour (prorated). This brings me to my main concern that everything is pricey - the food, drinks, billiards, arcade games, bowling. Even the mechanical bull is $10 per ride. I would recommend coming on a Sunday when games (excluding arcade games) are free. The place is 21 & up so it's the perfect place for an adult outing. The service was generally friendly and the facilities themselves are glamorous, but I am not convinced that everything is worth the price. I could've had the King Pin Kicker all day! The perfect sweet and spicy drink. We then ordered the cornbread for an appetizer and the açaí coconut parfait and honey butter chicken sandwich, which were all filling and delicious.
