I went to the Tickle Me Comedy Club Tuesday evening. The club is on the third floor of the Eclipse Theater complex in downtown Las Vegas at the corner of 3rd and Gass. There is covered parking at the theatres. The show starts at 8 or a bit later as was the case Tuesday and there are a number of comics--6 including the host Evan Green on the night I was there. The club is still in a sot opening phase even though their Facebook page says they opened April 1st. Before going to the 3rd floor, I stopped at the second to check in and I got a soda at the large bar the Eclipse complex has. There is a very large lounge area on the second floor and this is where the film screens are if you're seeing a movie. You are allowed to take food and drink to the 3rd floor to the comedy club. The club is in one corner of a large space equivalent in size to the second floor that could be used for a dance, a private party, or in this case, a corner that's set aside for the Tickle Me Comedy Club. There weren't many people there when I took my seat and one of the comics asked people to move forward to fill in near the stage. More people came later and they seemed to hold off starting until there were no more arriving. This proved to be a mixed bag. Spot lights for the comics in the back made a shadow on the stage of part of my back and head. The problem that was worse than this was they have spotlights directed from behind the comic to the audience. My closer seat put me right into a direct line with one of the spots and it was irritating. I should have moved. That's my fault, but is it really needed? The comics were a mixed bag. With having 6, their sets are shorter and if you're not amused by a particular comic, they'll soon be off anyway. During the show, one of the comics abruptly ended his time and just said thanks and left the stage. It was somewhat uncomfortable. I don't know if it was because the laughter just wasn't there for him. Overall, the comics were not that funny to me. Two of them mentioned Yelp, one in passing, but one pushed it more. He directed his gaze to someone behind me and said, "You didn't think that was funny? I suppose you put it on Yelp that Carl isn't funny. You can say Carl isn't funny." The audience member didn't say anything but I'll say it for him, "Carl, you're not funny!!" The comics never suspected I'd be the person in the crowd who Yelps. I'd avoid Tickle Me. 1/8/20 After my first experience last year the manager or owner reached out and asked for another opportunity to attend a show. I ended up getting VIP tickets to attend again and my daughter had her best friends in town from Atlanta, it was one of the girls' 21st birthday so I thought, PERFECT!, I will get tickets for her birthday it would be great to see a comedy show! Well...apparently there was an event on the 3rd floor as we were told so the comedy show was held in one of the theaters on floor 2. The GM was very apologetic and said there were not any seats left however, they were working on bringing some seats in to accommodate everybody. Now, I completely understand that I happened to get free seats because of my first experience however, this was definitely NOT a VIP experience nor a VIP seat but whatever, free is free so I'm not going to complain. Waiting for the fold up chairs to be brought in there was a man who was also waiting and holy crap was he pissed the eff off. He said he had paid extra and was not going to sit in the fold up chairs and was being super rude and loud and was not only making me uncomfortable but the girls I was with uncomfortable and I know the other patrons and staff uncomfortable. Totally understandable because again, if I had paId for VIP seats and had to sit in a fold up chair while everybody else got to sit in reclining leather seats I'd be super upset as well. Anyhow...the host comes out....this man starts to BOO!! LOUDLY!! It gets kinda worse, the host/comedian says there will not be any heckling tolerated anD he will be asked to leave. He settled down and shortly after here comes a freakin COUCH for he and his wife and his friend to sit on. Yes we could see but the people in the recliners to the right of us could not. I could hear the husband and wife talking saying they were unable to see. So the first comic...i missed....this whole situation was quite distracting The rest of the show was good. The closing comic was great. We each got a drink out of it. I did hear the host say there was food and drinks able to be ordered and I did see waitresses walking by but not one stopped to ask us what we wanted to eat or drink so 2 of us got up and got our own drinks with others from the theatre and missed part of the show. I do see several other reviewers had great experiences here so I'm not going to deter anybody from coming. I guess I've just had bad luck the 2 times I've been here. If I ever come again, I will have to come alone because bringing people here just hasnt been imprEssive thus far. read more

Located in the Firelight Barn Dinner Theater in Henderson, NV not to far from Water Front Street (entrance is on right side of building). Steve was a funny and great host for a funny lineup of comedians (Lisa, Isaac and Rick). The venue was nice offering snacks, BBQ, and drinks at a reasonable cost. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. if you want a nice night out to have a good laught away from downtown and the strip at a reasonable price definitely check this Comedy Show out. Wednesday before thanksgiving. The ad they showed weren't the people we saw. The food was really good, the beers took a long time to show up. The comics weren't funny not just me, the people there hardly laughed. Hopefully they will get better comics. Hell I am funnier. $25 cover with fees isn't bad. read more

Went here a couple weeks ago with family that lives in Vegas. Cool venue downtown Las Vegas with a movie theater inside as well. Get a drink upstairs in the bar before the show and get prepped. We were seated front row which turned out to be pretty fun... Comedians were really funny, or was it the drinks? Dunno but it was cool. Several blocks from Fremont St but I wouldn't walk it, area can be a bit sketchy. Would definitely go back read more

I had an absolute blast when I came to the comedy club! We saw four comedians who kept me laughing throughout the whole night! We checked in on the second floor then headed up to the third where the show was going to be. It had dim lighting and a very cute stage. The owner was also very kind and greeting everyone which I thought was a very nice gesture. We were able to order a few drinks from the cocktail waitress instead of having to go downstairs to get our own, so that was great! If you haven't checked it out, I would highly recommend it! read more

Went there for their soft opening weekend and my goodness! The caliber of entertainment booked was of utmost professionalism! Brian and Jay did wonderfully that evening! My family & I just went to a Tickle Me Comedy show put on by a movie theater venue. To say this venue was disorganized, is an understatement. In the beginning of the show, they were trying to up sell us on an extra $5 per ticket for "upgraded seats". My dad told the worker no thank you, and we were shocked when we walked into the theater to see ALL of the seats as nice movie theater recliners already? So what upgraded seat were you trying to sell? We were greeted by a man who told us to sit anywhere, so we sat in the recliner chairs & ordered drinks. The comedy show is just about to start, and this obnoxious attendee starts YELLING crude comments at the man introducing the acts. It gets to the point where everybody in the venue was uncomfortable and the man with the mic even tells security to get him out. All while this is happening, crowds of people are coming in with no seats left in the venue. The workers frantically retrieved foldable chairs and placed them in the very front of the theater to "accommodate" the oversold paying customers. Shortly after, the same man who greeted us comes walking up the stairs, leans over to the couple sitting next to my boyfriend & I, and says, "I hate to do this, but we have a vet who paid for premium seats, would you guys be able to move to the foldable seats up front so they can take these?" SO UNCOMFORTABLE RIGHT? As they kindly decline, he walks up to my brother and sister sitting in the row behind them and asks the same questions. At this point, I couldn't even focus on the comedian at the front because I was so invested in how unprofessional it was that they were asking people to move seats mid show for a mistake THEY made. My sister & brother politely decline, however my sister was feeling guilty and was wondering if she should have just given up her seat. That all quickly went away, when she found out the man they were trying to accommodate was the same drunk man shouting crude and uncomfortable comments in the beginning of the show. All while this is happening... we are 3 acts in and have not received our 2 glasses of wine we ordered 45 min prior. Nor has any other member of the audience. We were planning on having a good night drinking and spending time with family, but by the time we got our first drink the show was practically over. There were 2 comedians we thought were funny, however the entire failure of a night overpowered any good memory of that night we had. I do not recommend this company. read more

On a whim we went to the Tickle Me Comedy Club at the Eclipse Theater on 814 S Third street and we had a blast. Both of the comedians got the audience to laugh a lot. The owners were there to greet folks and everyone was upbeat. Drinks are available and brought to your table but there is a bar downstairs as well that serves food and you can bring it all with you. We had chicken wings and dips. This is a new show place. Very clean. On of the comedians got political and when many in the audience didn't appreciate the Trump bashing he backed right off. Good place to go as the parking is free and a bit south of the craziness of Fremont Street. read more

I am very grateful to the host, because he really did his best to try to have us sit all next to each other. The comedians were funny. Great venue away from the strip, very creative use of space. It is inside the Eclipse Theater, beautiful lounge area. The comics really made great effort at entertaining the crowd. I have been to the Tickle Me Comedy Club a few times now. Each visit has been such a great time! The staff are friendly and welcoming. The drinks are very good and the food is even better. The venue itself is located in an ideal location in the arts district of Las Vegas. The setting is intimate and very comfortable with easy view of the comedians. And the comedians...every one I have seen has been seasoned and well versed, but mostly just very funny. I am a huge stand up fan and always leave feeling that I had a true Las Vegas comedy experience. If you want to be pampered and have a good solid laugh, you have to give this venue a try. Tickle Me Comedy club is worth every penny you spend, I had an absolute blast going here; starting from the amazing classy venue to the hilarious comedians (Tommy Tallarino was my favorite). It is the only primetime comedy show in the area starting at around 8pm and the venue is easy to find with convenient indoor parking spaces. read more

The bar service was terrible. Got ignored. Then they forgot to place our food order. An hour later we received our nachos with hot lettuce and microwaved cheese sauce. We purchased 2 VIP tickets for front row and table seating for a comedy show. Well no one even checked our tickets and people just sat anywhere. That was a rip off. The show started late. The first comic was awesome!! The other 2 were not. The total show was an hour, maybe? However; there was a cannabis cup award show after the comics??? Very strange? My husband and I paid for a comedy show and now we're watching people that we do not know receive awards for their pot? So confusing. We feel like we got ripped off :( read more

These were the worst acts I have ever seen. The only jokes that garnered a laugh were about the fact no one was laughing at their jokes. There were 8 people total in the audience in what appeared to be in abandoned room. No servers ever came to the table, not that anyone would have gotten anything from the over priced menu provided. This is not an exaggeration but a warning to save someone some pain on their vacation. read more

The comedy skits of J. Reid and Brian McKim were simply hilarious to put it mildly that we couldn't help but admire and appreciate their non-stop brilliant monologues and candor. We knew we were not alone in admiring their deliveries as adjacent members of the audience all around us kept shrieking and rolling incessantly - most especially on J. Reid's blurts and comical delivery. The duo's humorous observations about aspects of life and people in general were likewise noteworthy and therefore couldn't help eliciting warm and ecstatic reactions from the continually electrified and delirious crowd. Brian McKim's litany of points on once sacred domestic issues was definitely non-pareil and even more absorbing as a result of his deftly choreographed and seemingly nonchalant demeanor. Of course, the other comedians were equally funny and likewise contributed greatly to the favorable and warm reception and therefore virtually gave credence to its potential endurance and success. read more

I am a "local" here in Las Vegas and recently had family visiting. When they finally got tired of contributing to our local economy we stumbled upon The Tickle Me Comedy Club. I had heard about it but had never been. We had a great time! After a couple of days in the casinos, it was great to sit and relax in a comedy club with a few drinks and have some great laughs! The comedians were great! My family who are from out-of-state thought they were funny and I did, too! The venue itself is awesome and the service was on-point! Tickle Me has great versatility for a comedy club due to its layout; it can be a stellar packed-house weekend experience or an intimate and charming weekday experience.
