Service Center. The service people do not have a clue what…read morethey are doing. They pretend to fix your issues and then tell you the work is completed. When I brought my RV there for warranty work promised by another Campers Inn up north. I decided to have minor items repaired while I waited for their warranty work. I had an appointment that was made by Gary in the service department. I was told to have RV there on a Monday AM. Since I was 3 hrs from there. I decided to drive it over on a Sunday. I was told sales staff were there on Sunday. When I got there. It was closed. Gated business. No place to leave RV safely. (poor communication) Service had my RV 85 days for a 2 day service to my keyless entry.(warranty). This dealer sells Tiffin, Services Tiffin. They had no clue what they are doing. Every time I called for my RV I would get a different excuse. As far as the extra work. There was 5 minor items I wanted taken care of. When they finally finished repair to keyless entry. They called and said " Your RV is ready for pick up" When I got there. I walked the RV reviewing the 5 minor issues. I was told they were all completed. Not one item was completed. Two of the items I was told they could not duplicate so they could not fix them. Other 3 items I was billed for and were not done. I had to pay the bill in order to get my RV. 85 days to fix a keyless entry pad. I was very upset. Paid the bill and drove away. On my way home. The interior panel at the door entry fell off. They had to remove panel to access the back side of the keyless entry. All the screws were removed. Fire extinguisher was remove. Trim on slide and Corian top were damaged. Keyless entry was not sealed on exterior either. I called. Had many conversations with Tim the General Manager. He made several excuses for his service tech and service manager Gary. He made promises that he never followed through with. he knew when I was coming to pick up my RV. Either he was in hiding or left so he did not have to deal with me. It was just Smoke and Mirrors so that I would go away. Before you engage with any type of business with this dealer. Reach out to me. Cococorp1@yahoo.com. I want to tell you why not only does the service department or the sales department care about you. They are only interested in your money and not your happiness. Once they get you to pay. They leave you stranded. They have a web address called We Care, at WWW.Campersinn.com. They claim they will help you with your issues if you can not get results from individual stores. When I reached out. I was told. Each store is it's own francize and they had no authority to make them follow through with any complaints. So before you even consider doing business with Campers Inn of Ocala, or Campers Inn itself. Reach out to me so I can tell you of the experiences I have had with 2 stores and the corporate division. Pre-purchase promises and post-purchase results. Find another RV dealer, Do not use Campers Inn.........

We bought a massive used Solitude DL391. We know nothing about RV'ing and so we were really green…read moreduring our walkthrough. Almost every single aspect of the sale went well. We had to fight hard to get what we wanted but for the most part we left satisfied. During the walkthrough we knew nothing about the lights and the graphs and the meters showing what was on, what was running and what the current levels were. We initially saw the RV a month before we bought it. There was damage on it after our initial viewing so they needed another 2 weeks to repair it. I am not sure how long they had it before we first looked at it but we didn't pick it up for at least 6 weeks after we first saw it and loved it. With all that being said, we found out after we brought it home and learned a lil about the thing that those graphs on the wall. Those were the levels in the tanks. The black tank was FULL. 53 gallons full. Full with someone else's feces in it and for how long? At least 6 weeks since we had first seen the thing. Then there was the gray tank. That's where the shower and sinks drain. It was 2/3rds full. At least 40 gallons. Not as gross as the tank full of someone else's crap but shouldn't have been 2/3rd's full. Then there's the fresh tank. It was 2/3rds full of around 60 gallons of stagnant water that had been sitting in there for who knows how long. After I bought all the equipment and gained all the knowledge I spent 4 hours today flushing these tanks out and their vile content. I have to do a siphon treatment to feed some bleach mixture into the fresh water tank so that I can kill any bacteria that grew in there. I will go to a dump station. Fill it with water and bleach. Park it back at storage and then 12 hours later go back to the dump station so I can get all the germs and stuff out. I will run the faucets to get my bleach solution into the gray tank and then dump the gray tank and the fresh water tank to empty so I know all the bacteria is gone. We truly don't understand who would sell an RV and not clean it out. They said they inspected it? Really? How well if you missed the tanks. My review would have been 5 stars but it's hard to get past someone else's crap in my newly purchased used RV.

Let me preface this by saying we have now been trying to contact someone within Optimum RV for 2…read more1/2 weeks in hopes to have these issues addressed prior to writing this review, but after calling NUMEROUS times we either cannot reach someone, or the person who answers is unable to help and "will have the person we need to speak to call us back"...which never happens. We initially contacted Optimum RV on May 6th regarding a unit at the PA location, we spoke with the salesman Rob at that time, who was quite helpful. We put a deposit on the unit that day, and in speaking with him we asked if before pick up the tires could be thoroughly checked, as we had a 3.5 hour ride home on them and needed them to be reliable. He ensured us that their inspector would look over everything. We picked up the unit the following Tuesday May 12. At pick up we were made aware that there was an issue with the oven range, but they assured us they would contact the manufactured and get one on order for us(we still have not received the new part or any communication regarding the part). We also at pick up reiterated our need for reliable tires as we had quite a drive to get it back home, even pointing out that the tires did appear to have some visible dry rot and stating we would be willing to purchase new tires from them and have them installed if necessary. Again their inspector blew us off stating there was nothing wrong with the tires, he has determined that they passed PA inspection and GUARANTEED(his exact words) that the tires would get us where we needed to go. Fast forward one hour into the drive home....tire blows out on the side of a major highway with chunks actually coming up and damaging the underside of the camper... Leaving us with a car full on the side of the interstate to change the blowout to get us back on the road, using our only spare tire. Hour two into our trip tire #2 blows, doing MORE damage to the camper...at this point we are still over an hour from our destination and have no spare tire. We were stuck on the side of the highway for over an hour waiting for a family friend to purchase another tire and drive it out to us. What should have been a 3.5 hour drive ended up taking over 6 HOURS all because of tires that we questioned and were assured were fine....once we finally made it home and checked the tires that blew out we noticed that they had a DOT manufacture date of 2016, making them not only 10 years old, but also 3 years OLDER than the unit we purchased!! We had hoped to get the part from them that we were promised, and reach a resolution regarding the rest of our experience but we can't even get a call back! At this point I would recommend going anywhere but here if you are looking to purchase an RV, new or used. Their actions(of lack thereof) have shown us how little they truly value their customers.

I was stranded for 6 days with my dog because they repeatedly lied and said the deal was 'ready.' As a nomad, I was told to empty my trade-in, which stripped me of my ability to stay at campgrounds or travel centers, effectively making me homeless and forcing me into over $1,000 in hotel bills. Despite my 750 score and $400k+ in assets, the salesman treated me like a 'second-class citizen' and told me they were doing me a 'favor' because I don't have a W2. To resolve the delay, the salesman introduced me to his 'Boss,' who looked me in the eye and verbally promised the dealership would cover my hotel costs, saying, 'It's the least we can do.' Now, the owner--who uses the friendly 'Hoss' persona to lure in travelers but signs his legal name 'Robert Roberts' when he wants to be cold--has sent me a 'Final Notice' backpedaling on that word. I have submitted Robert's denial email and the details of this bait-and-switch to the Florida OAG and FLHSMV. They don't respect nomads; they exploit them. Do not trust their 'favors' or their words

The original AC unit was covered under the five year extended warranty I had purchased two years earlier when I bought my RV. The second AC unit had been installed by a large RV Dealer eleven months earlier and was still under the manufacturer's warranty. Earl came to my location and quickly isolated the problems using a multimeter and specialized training. Earl contacted Dometic, the company which manufactured both AC units, to discuss his findings. The newer AC had a failed thermal relay but this part was no longer available. The other AC unit, only three years old, was icing up due to a low level of freon in the system. Dometic agreed both AC units had failed under warranty and agreed to send two new AC units. While I awaited arrival of the two AC units Earl loaned me a portable AC unit to keep me comfortable in sunny 95 plus Florida weather. Earl promptly replaced my two AC units on time with no problems. I highly recommend Earl's RV Repair and Inspection Service.

Camping World had the system on sale online a couple hundred dollars less than many smaller RV companies, which they honored in store. Their installation quote was comparable to others I received. Dillan service representative and Alberto the installation tech were very professional and completed the work on time as promise. After getting home I noticed the activation light wasn't working and notified Dillan and he scheduled me an appointment and Alberto discovered a small rely needed to be replaced. I had to wait only about 45 minutes for the repair and there was no charge for them to replace the non operational part. In conclusion I am very happy with the new brake system and service completed on my Vehicle.

Our visit to Camping World in Summerfield Florida started off well…read more We were connected with the nicest salesman, a real gentleman named Deacon. We were and are extremely happy with him and should we go back there which is not likely at all, we would want him again as our salesman.. We picked out a used Jayco trailer and during our talk with the sales manager, he and we agreed to an OUT THE DOOR price of $17,500. We gave them a $3000 deposit and expected our new balance to be $14,500 when we returned to get our trailer in two more days. To our DISGUST when we returned to get our trailer we learned that we now owed roughly $17500 once again... this was after our $3000 deposit which meant that the out the door price went from $17,500 to $20,500.... We told the sales manager we just want our $3000 back and we don't want to buy the trailer but he wanted to talk it over and show us how much they have invested in the trailer and the reason why it would cost me substantially more money. He now said there was no way he could let us have the trailer for a TOTAL of $17,500 (as promised) but that he would generously split the $3000 difference with me which would make us pay an additional $1500 above the $17,500... of course my wife wanted the trailer so I agreed to pay the difference. As you can imagine, we left very upset with our trailer which we are happy with. We wanna mention once again Deacon was a very good salesman and a total gentleman just in case you still want to buy from this dealership. Also, they connected us with the Bank of Montreal (BMO) for our financing and they were a nightmare to work with - they were so bad we refinanced right away.... Obviously we don't recommend BMO either.... One final note, as part of their appreciation for buying the trailer they gave us 21 free nights at Ocean Canyon Resorts and after reading the horrible reviews on these resorts, we learned that people that stayed there frequently reported aggressive sales tactics, high upfront and maintenance costs, and facility maintenance issues.... Apparently they want you to buy a site there and their aim is to persuade you to do that.
