This is for a selling experience. I had a fantastic interaction with Dale today at Honest Autos. I had wanted to sell my old 2014 Mazda and looked it up on Kelley Blue Book. KBB has an option to get a cash offer from 3 local dealers and Honest Auto was one of my options. I went to another dealer first and they told me if I wasn't planning on trading it in, they wouldn't give me as much money. They even recommend going to Honest Autos. I appreciated their honesty. When I got to Honest Autos, I was promptly greeted and asked to wait until their Buyer Agent, Dale, was free (I didn't make an appointment). He was ready for me in about 10 minutes. Dale was super friendly and knowledgeable. He and and another employee (I assume a mechanic), took my car out for a test drive. He came back, reviewed their findings and also reviewed the Kelley Blue Book offer. I had a mechanical issue that needed to be addressed that altered the price by about $200 but I thought that was fair. I had done my research ahead of time and had a range in mind given the age and condition of my car. As a side note, this dealer is extremely accomodating. They had sent me an email and text once Kelley Blue Book notified them. They are also willing to drive you back home if you sell them your car, or they'll come to your home to do the transaction. My husband followed me, so I didn't need a ride, but that's a nice added service. I was literally out the door in under 30 minutes with a check in hand. I would totally sell a car to them again and I'd recommend them to others for the same service. read more

I waited to make this post to see if they would honor their words. Last week I purchased a car that had some problems. They promised in writing to fix it later. During the week I called when I noticed that there was a headlight issue. Over the phone they promised to fix it. I am pleased to say that when I picked my car up today, everything promised was done with no bill! These guys are great!!! read more

so disappointing nothing about this place is honest. I did all my diligence to make my payments on time for nine months straight and one month which is two biweekly payments. Also was communicating with them the whole time they did not care. They came to my job and repo my car and when I called them to get my car back, they told me no unless I have the full amount of the loan which was $10,000 I could not get my car back. Clearly sir you have no idea what is going on at your own business. This is the issue I talked to your staff about just last week. It was a mistake made NOT ON MY PART and I tried to explain that and your staff was talking to me like I was an idiot. I had to them point out numbers on a paper that your staff sent me. I tried to call and she hung up on me. I did not curse or threaten so hanging up on a customer who is trying to get a mistake fixed on your end is not ok. And after your staff finally saw I was right not once did they apologize for their behavior or actions. And, on top of all this I call you today to try and clear the misunderstanding you had and you make excuses and act like your employees behavior is ok. Then, several hours later I get a call saying my vehicle is ready for pickup? I call and they say oh we have a client with the same last name but different car???? Interview is concerning a friend of mine who dealt with honest Auto, I have heard day in and day out of all the problems he would have mustang. Finally put a new engine in. They were very unhelpful wouldn't pay for anything. Then the idea to make a comment like he doesn't want the card just bring it back you know where we're at. Knowing good and damn well you spends and thousands of dollars. It would have already paid for itself by now. My advice is to find someone else to deal with. Because they're not so honest. From the moment we stepped onto the lot we just knew this car buying experience was going to be different. We were looking for a reasonably priced, reliable car for our son as a gift for his 18th birthday. I called before we went and had the pleasure of speaking with Logen. Wasted a trip from Orlando after being told that 5k down and proof of income was needed on a certain vehicle to finance through them. End up getting there and getting the last minute story of "I spoke to the finance manager and said you need your own bank/finance" and "I called you but didn't get an answer." Not one message or call received in either my text, call log, or voicemail box so that was a blatant lie. Basically lured there with a lot of money on my person under false pretenses, only thing Honest about this place is honestly wasting your gas and time. 1 hour and 32 miles (2 hours and 64 miles round trip) for a deceptive play to see if someone is desperate enough to go along with their original ploy and intentions. Wouldn't have even wasted my time and gas on the trip there if that were the case because the car isn't finance-through-your-own-bank worthy due to its age. 1 star is generous for obvious deception. read more
