These loser people deserve to cook in this RV they sold me with bad air conditioning despite us telling the walkthrough agent the air conditioning wasn't working. The only thing that went well with doing business here was the inventory specialist who would call me back. Had multiple warranty issues that we had to do 90% of the leg work weeks after to get done. I even had to show tech how to put on a simple screen door piece that was missing. Jamie in Greenville North Carolina is a god send. Everyone else that is there needs to take her work ethic. You consistently get the excuse they are busy. There is no was in hell my camper should have passed any inspection either from Riverstone or TravelCamp. read more

Called for service spoke to Linda about bringing in a unit, she was very unprofessional and really didn't seem to know her job very well. Had to speak with a tech about unit then back to her which really didn't seem to make a difference. Very rude when I called her out on things she said, I won't recommend this place to anyone I took my unit to a different dealer as for we couldn't come to a common ground. read more

Let me start, by giving credit where credit is due. Bri, our sales lady, was a very sweet girl caught in the middle of all of this. She is a bright shining star, with an attitude that should make it easy to reach her career goals and much more I don't just write bad reviews, as you can see from my review history ON GOOGLE. I do, however, review all of my interactions, with all of the businesses with whom I do actually do business. I am, however, new to Yelp and this is only my 2nd review. I promise more to come, though. My girlfriend and I went to several of these establishments, looking for the trailer, we wish to move to the beach, for reasons of work and relaxation. I do work a very long distance away from home and she needs a place to get away, from time to time and this idea would serve both purposes. Upon arrival to this, our 4th, establishment, we found the perfect trailer to suit all of our needs. During price negotiation, we made the agreement with Calvin (manager), to have a fireplace, as well as two televisions, that I purchased, installed. He also agreed to make the first 3 payments, of the loan, so as to move our first payment back 90 days. The move-in date being six weeks away, they agreed we can leave it on their premises, as we needed to have the installations take place, anyway. As the weeks passed by, we began bringing things, piece by piece, to move into the trailer. In so doing, we took notice that the installations, never took place. We kept reminding them, that this needed to be done. They kept saying, "Yes, we are aware and it was scheduled." This went on, until the very day before move-in day. I took the day off, for the move, as I had appointments set for cable/internet/electric etc. to be installed. Here we are, the night prior to moving in and nothing has been done. We were less than happy with the situation. They swore to us, that it would still be ready in time to get it there. On moving day, we arrived to find that it was still not even started. We began showing our dislike for the situation. In expressing our dissatisfaction, you would think some concern would be shown to change that. Instead, the mechanic chosen to do the job, took a different approach and left, not only the job but, the premises, entirely. He really showed us. This shows an incredible lack of concern for customer satisfaction; one, about whom, I would like to speak to the owner of the business. The trailer was scheduled to be down there by 10 a.m. The installation of the utilities were scheduled to begin around that time and the final appointment was at 5 p.m. They were aware of all of this. Why they would wait, until the day of delivery, especially since we were there ,each of the 2 previous days, expressing our concerns passionately, is an incredible lack of responsibility. When brought to the attention of Calvin, on the day of delivery, he would only say that he was not happy, either. He wouldn't even get out of his seat top go do anything about it, until I decided to sit in his office and stare at him. It was then, and only then, that he would go to the shop to make any attempt to move this along. The trailer wasn't prepared to leave the lot, until after 5 p.m. and had to go 3 hrs away. Needless to say, I took the day off, for nothing and the utilities had to be put off, thanks to Travelcamp's negligence and "who cares attitude" for our issues. By the way, when they did finally install the fireplace, it was not where we requested it. We wanted it about eight inches off the floor. Instead, they installed in, right on the floor. We still haven't seen the checks, for the first 3 months of payments. So, if it is offered, don't fall for that. We have remined him several times about this. The last time we reminded him, 3 weeks ago, we got "the checks in the mail" routine. As for any installation promised, get it done, before making the purchase. Once they have your money, they are finished with any concern for customer satisfaction. They will ask you, as they did me, to write them a review, right away. As I told Calvin, I review all of my interactions, but I wait for the completion of said interaction, and I am sure he now sees why. read more

Bought my brand NEW Vintage Cruiser in February from Travelcamp RV (specifically TravelCamp Ocala I would avoid at all cost) and it was one of the worst purchase decisions I made for myself. The sales process was easy and smooth so I thought until it came time for pickup and delivery of those promises. I was sold a damaged unit and NO ONE will do a thing about it. When I came to pick up the unit which was planned for over 40 days, nothing was done or prepared and we found water near the dinette set. I asked if there was a leak and they assured me the unit would get a rigorous leak test before it came home to me. At this point, I spent my entire day on-site in Ocala waiting for the upgrades to be finished that they had over 40 days to complete before my arrival. We signed an agreement that if the unit had a leak after the test the contract would be void and they would not deliver the unit. Delivery day comes, I hear from no one so I follow up about the leak and delivery. The sales guy wants to confirm every detail about the unit however cannot confirm if the leak test was done and complete. Took 3 phone calls to get him to finally answer the leak question and he says the test was done and everything is fine... Unit is on the way to you now and everything is perfect. I believe they knew this unit was damaged, I also believe the leak test was never done just like the DEEP clean that was not done and sent me the unit regardless. Just like the sales process lots of LIES and absolutely no resolve, and no one follows up or follows their supposed corporate standards. The entire back wall suffered major water damage on my first outing. Guess where the water came in, the back wall of course where we found the water in the walkthru. I brought it in for service when I returned and nothing was finished, no one communicated and it was on-site for almost a month, no service receipt of what was done and to top it all off the unit was damaged on site, and no follow-up about that either. The worst part was both the sales guy and sales manager knew I was moving into this trailer for 7 months as my home and you sold me a broken show unit regardless. The unit now has mold and continues to show water damage and no one at TravelCamp or Gulf Stream will do anything about it. I have been going in circles with both companies for over 3 months now! read more

This location was amazing! I was in a situation where I needed to buy a camper ASAP, but had a limited budget and so-so credit. The staff helped me find the right travel trailer for me, worked diligently to find me financing, and assisted in the cost of needed equipment to pull it. They were very understanding and sympathetic to my situation and helped make the experience wonderful. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and kind. My experience from this company is awful, they damaged my rv while it was in for service, and seem to have no interest in repairing it. They talked a good game that they would, but it's been nearly a year and it's not fixed. From the top down to the service department, they just don't seem to care that they damaged my RV. If they can't get the parts, they should replace my RV. It was six months old when they damaged it. read more

Bought a toy hauler here last year and it was a very bad experience. They jerk the customers around, waste a ton of time and do sloppy work. When you need service which you will, you get put into a call center that is super unprofessional and you get the run around again. You will be lucky if you get a call back. I have owned lots of RV's and motorhomes homes over the years and this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The whole organization needs to be revamped to be polite. Im not going to write a book on all the details but can tell you every aspect of the transaction was horrible. read more
