First off, shout out Edinburg local spot. The staff were super helpful is recommendations and explaining everything. The young man in the front and the cook came out and said what was good, what they had, just a cool group of people. And that helpful service gets me hyped for a location, when a place makes you feel good and welcomed I have a great time even if the food is average. Which thankfully is not the case for the Dog Stadium, you can tell they used a quality dog. I had the astro dog, first time I ate a hot dog with a fork and knife but that's because they really load it up. And the elote fries, if you stop by get them is all I'll say. Who doesn't love French fries or elote? Now combine them and you have delicious. My daughter has the dirt burger, funny name but she liked it. She had he regular fries and they were well seasoned. There are very few restaurants that can serve really well made burgers. This IS the spot. Cowboy burger was a straight up 10/10 and the food was served quickly but made to order. Upgrade to elote fries??? Absolutely. Fresh queso fresco and a smoky tajin seasoning is something very unique to this establishment...you cannot find it anywhere else. Waiters are very attentive and respectful so don't be afraid to ask about recommendations. If the song neon moon could be made into a restaurant then they nailed it because there's draft beers on tap and neon signs galore. Hubby and I will return! read more

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. They are better restaurants in the area that have better food and better customer's service. The waitress and waiters lack proper training and lack education in proper customer's service. the food is not that great and lacks flavor. Their fries have an ugly after taste. I would avoid the fries all together. The hamburgers are not any better. BOTTOM LINE IF YOU WANT A GREAT HOT DOG OR HAMBURGERS, AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COST. We decided to try something different so we stoped at a place named THE DOG STADIUM; they have hotdogs and more. The hotdogs are fantastic they are a good size, tasty and their service is one of best that I've had. Edgar and his team are AWESOME. We also had the; wings, huge good size and tasty. Great food and customer service. Loved the elote fries and the Dirt Dog (but I asked for no bacon). This building used to belong to my parents back in the day, built from the ground up over 40 years ago (Colonial Grill), and I have to say it finally became a place I want to come back to again. Walked into the restaurant and received the most efficient of services. The lady at the register was polite and was quick to take my order. She, however, forgot to give me my cups and my ketchup. As a service worker it is essential to check in on your customers and see if anything is missing or incorrect. My food came fairly fast and looked very fresh. The presentation was greatly executed and looked very tasty. Tasting the food, was good but could use a slight improvement. On the Texan Burger, could use an enhancement; If sautéing the onions you should add jalapeños, and grill them together. The grilled jalapeño with the onion combined with the cream cheese will enhance the burger to the next level. The Vaquero Hotdog was honestly very tasty but it lost its taste on the jumbo beef frank. I would try going for something slightly more medium sized so the rest of the flavors can be tasted and appreciated. The fries were honestly very tasty do not change a thing on that. On the Mexican Burger it could also use a slight improvement. How can a Mexican Burger not include avocado on it, like come on it's the Mexican Burger. The patty could've used a little more flavor, however, the chorizo addition was an interesting add-on. I would've loved to try it out with the avocado. The Crispy Grilled Corn was very delicious was my favorite item throughout this experience. The atmosphere was a slight country vibe, wasn't a bad experience. Location was good, a very busy street. I must keep my view honest and thorough about my overall experience including the Service, Food, and Environment. Would definitely like to try again and taste other food items from the menu. read more
