Dogs are kept in empty kennels with no toys or beds. They get one thin blanket for the night. Tried to give them more but was told not to "waste" resources. One dog was whimpering and barking from boredom and loneliness, and I was trained to scream at him and spray him with water to silence him. That's the solution for any barking and whimpering, just angrily scream and spray. The "small dog park" they advertise has nothing in it whatsoever; dogs that can't play in the main park just get shunted between empty kennels to a slightly bigger empty space, are ignored except for yelling, and then put back into the kennels after fifteen minutes. They sleep overnight in those kennels, left by themselves. Terrible place.

Apparently my dog is an anomaly in all of 12 or 15 years of the person that worked there. Maybe it was the way my dog barked in other dogs faces? Maybe it's the way he humped other dogs? According to the person at the front "I don't know what it could be, it's not like they can talk to me" I know my guy is a big young pup (65lbs @ 2 years old), so he's still a work in progress... which the first person who was there and left by herself understood. Not so much on the second visit though... talk about feeling judged. Silence, no eye contact, from both people who were there. More on the first person I met: They were pleasant and seemed to take on my dog's behavior as trainable opportunities. She could teach the other two who work there a thing or two on soft skills. With the vibe of that place though, I wouldn't be surprised if she left. Again, they were left alone with the front desk and a room full of dogs. On to the next.

Belated review, from first two kennel overnight visits…read more Outdoor segregated grass play areas, A/C and heating in the kennel apartments as needed to keep guests comfortable. Turns out our 60 lb Border Collie mix prefers recess with the "Littles", and this was happily accommodated. We are very reluctant to leave our pup for lengths of time, she has some emotional issues that came with her when we adopted her as an adult dog. Thrilled to report she received the best loving care at Mountain Top, and the proof was that she marched right in on her second stay with no trepidation. That says it all. We don't often travel without our pup pup. But when we do, we know she is safe and happy staying here. It is a beautiful property and top notch care.

In fact they are no longer a Hospital at all, offering zero walk in or last minute appointments, for light emergency services to their long standing and loyal customers. In addition to hiding their corporate ownership, their website has not been updated and still clearly states "Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time" while they continue to display a staff picture despite half the Veterinarians leaving since the acquisition. The point of having a primary care vet is two fold. First is for regular scheduled checkups, but equally important is knowing that the vet you trust and work with has the capacity, or at least the intent, to see your pet when emergencies occur. The fact that they hide their corporate ownership, falsely continue to state services they no longer offer and present the faces of vets no longer working there makes it clear that their new corporate owners intentionally wish to mislead the local community. Don't be fooled, find a new primary care vet before it's too late for your pet.

I used to be able to call to get regular prescription food for my animals and now if you haven't seen them within a month or so they require you to pay for a full office visit just to get pet food. So sad to see this happen obviously, just a money grab. Do yourself a favor and find an actual privately owned veterinarian that wasn't bought out by Corporation :(

She hand picked Roxy for me and she is absolutely incredible in every way. I specifically wanted a dog to become a therapy dog in the school setting. Stacey has spent countless hours guiding me through this process, helping me train Roxy, answering questions, etc. Stacey is an incredible wealth of knowledge. When you get a dog from her she is always willing to help train you on how to handle your dog. She has told me very tiny changes to make in training and it fixed the issue almost instantly. Thanks to her guidance, and incredibly well bred dogs, Roxy is already working in my classroom with children at just 4 months old and she's doing an amazing job! Teachers and students are already absolutely in love. Stacey even took the time to speak with my students to train them on how to interact with a puppy. I highly recommend Stacey as a breeder. But my personal experience is as follows. My brother got a labradoodle from Golden Xpress and that dog was amazing in every way. She just recently passed of old age. My brother plans on getting his next Labradoodle from Golden Xpress. I myself fostered one of her labradoodles as the owner was deployed so I was simply raising the pup waiting for it's owner to return home. I fell in love. What a smart amazing dog. It was hard to hand her over. My son and his wife currently have two Labradoodles from Golden Xpress and they are just complete dolls, so incredibly intelligent, and social. My cousin is currently in the process of getting her first Labradoodle from Golden Xpress and I have met this older puppy and she is also just a complete lover. My son's mother in law is also currently in the process of getting her first Labradoodle from Golden Xpress. I met this 9 month puppy and fell in love. I held her for about an hour and she just put her little head on my shoulder and loved being loved. I wanted to take her home and add her to my fur family, but I have too many dogs right now. So, we took my son's mother & father in law to meet this pup and they fell in love and wanted her. So, I'll still get to spend time with this cutie. Stacey is a good solid reputable breeder. She only breeds dogs that the veterinarian approves for breeding. She would never keep breeding a sick dog as I saw in one reviewer say. My son's two females are in a guardian contract and he had to take them to the vet for the vet to issue full approval for them to begin to breed. My brother had also entered the guardian contract with Stacey and his dog had a difficult time through her first litter and because of that, Stacey dissolved the contract with my brother because she refused to put his dog through a difficult situation again. His girl got spay and was his free and clear so, it is complete nonsense that she continued breeding a sick male dog as stated by one reviewer. I saw a review that she sold a underweight and sick dog. I can guarantee that never happened. To that reviewer: Dogs eat poop. Google it, many groups regarding that and no vet is going say what you said yours told you. Its gross but it happens. Back to my review: Stacey doesn't have a property with 100 dogs on it. Most of the females she breeds are in guardian situations which means that someone like me can pick my puppy and that puppy will be a breeder IF her vet approves it. Once the vet approves it the female will be bred, but that female lives with her new family. It is nothing like what you see in backyard breeding situations where dogs are stacked on top of dogs, unhealthy, and pathetic, and discarded when she can no longer produce. I personally work to find these kinds of breeders and rally to get them shut down. So, I'm sorry but those couple bad reviews are just untrue.
