So I started googling and this business came up, was well-rated, and all the research I did on the company seemed to hold up. Zack (the owner) is very prompt and friendly. He set up a "friendship assessment" within the next 24-48 hours. When he arrived at my apartment, both of my cats gave him a warm greeting. You can tell that he's a true animal lover and gives off good energy. He's very nice and informative, very thorough on his instructions, he is extremely detail-oriented. When he leaves, you feel confident that you chose the right person. Over our weekend trip, we paid for him to visit my cats 2x a day. Both times we received about 5-10 photos (like professional quality photos too) of the kitties and a thorough update on how they're doing. He even caught that the automatic feeder was near empty and filled it...such attention to detail!!! Zack includes changing their litter and even some light household tasks in his fee (like watering plants, rinsing cans, and he even did all the dishes before we returned). For 2 visits a day it was $50 ($25 per visit) and it was SO WORTH IT. We will 100% hire him again. He even offers to rent out a security camera if you'd like to keep an eye on them. We already had one but still nice to offer. He carries insurance in the event that there's any accident, as well. Your search is over, hire Zack!

This was my first time and it will be my last time visiting this location…read more I paid $85 for my dog's grooming and tipped an additional $5. When I got home, my dog's face was still dirty around his eyes. I had to use my own tear stain wipes to finish cleaning his face myself. If I had noticed how dirty his face still was before leaving, I would have brought him right back. While cleaning his face, I discovered a patch missing near his eye that was bleeding. My dog has never had a cut on his face before. I immediately called the groomer and was told his face wasn't dirty, even though I had just cleaned visible tear staining and debris from around his eyes myself. Instead of addressing my concern, I was given multiple explanations for what might have happened. I was told maybe my dog scratched himself, maybe it happened after I picked him up, and maybe I somehow caused it while cleaning his eyes. Everything was suggested except the possibility that it happened during grooming. His tail was also not properly finished. It appeared to be washed and blown out, but it was still tangled and nappy. I had to comb it myself and trim the ends when I got home. The owner asked me to bring my dog back so he could look at the area, but after spending several minutes arguing about how he didn't do it and how something else must have happened, I had no confidence that my concerns were being taken seriously. I don't know exactly how the patch near my dog's eye happened. What I do know is that I picked up a dog with a dirty face, had to clean him myself, discovered a bleeding patch near his eye, and was met with excuses instead of accountability. For $85 plus tip, this experience was completely unacceptable.

In the time that we've owned pets we have never taken them to any form of doggy daycare, boarding or stayed away from home more than 1 night at a friend's house. Therefore, you can imagine the anxiety, worriment & concerns that just kept running through our heads. We fully love our dogs - they are our furry child. Haby is fully hands on with the pups. She plays with them, cuddles, feeds, naps & so much more. I really could not have asked for a better first time experience! Aside from all that daily updates (multiple ones sometimes) the pictures shared gave us such peace of mind to enjoy our winter trip. Along with a few wonderful video clips! The only downside of this... and it's not totally a bad thing... I now have a somewhat depressed pup because she's not hanging out with her new friends! Mary Pawpins Pet Nanny came through our Facebook Page and we called on Thursday morning to see if she would be able to help us out. She told us that she officially did not "open" until Monday but since all of her licenses and insurance was in place she was happy to help us out! She came over that evening to meet our kitties and fish and to get their schedule. She was thoughtful and kind and really took the time to meet our pets and make sure she knew their routine, food schedule, and any additional needs. Normally our kitty, Emma hides from everyone but I was so pleased on Saturday afternoon to get pictures of our babies making friends. What was also nice was the pet report card when I arrived home that outlined the pet's behaviors while we were gone. We were so lucky to have gotten such an awesome pet sitter.
