I can't believe I had not thought to review her before, 5 years we have been taking our spoiled boy to her and he always looks good, more importantly she will tell you if something is impacting their health and recommend effective treatments/vets etc.. as an example, my guy has a weight issue, he is very charming and talks everyone into feeding him (Including family members who know bettter) so we have been on a weight loss "journey" he had gained a couple of pounds since his last trim and I told her I hoped it was hair... she sent the picture I have posted below captioned that it was ALL hair. What a nice place to take your dog! I just moved here and drove by this place. I went in and spoke with the owner who was so nice, and even took time to talk to me about my dogs teeth and tell me about her business. She recommended a vet and I made an appointment. So today I just picked up my dog and he's beautiful. Her prices are really reasonable and the whole experience was a pleasure. Convenient to me on State Road 84 in Winn Dixie shopping center. Diane aka Granny is super nice. Loves the animals! You can tell. Groomed my little dog so efficiently and was so sweet to her. Then cut the nails for my other 2. Quick painless and they were not scared. Staff is warm and friendly. Studio is clean. Every cage was full and some pets just sitting waiting on the floor. When I first started bringing my Shitzu for service at Granny Grunts, everything was great, I loved that the groomers were so friendly. I loved my puppy's haircut each time he went. Unfortunately I work full-time as a Nanny 8-4:30pm Mon-Friday. I would call each week to try and book on a Saturday . I then started receiving an attitude from the eldest groomer, because I missed 2 of my appointments, due to my boyfriend being called in to work and unable to drop or pick the dog up, and the other because of me not being able to leave work in time to drop him(my puppy off) I waited about a week and I called in to see if they had any availability on a Friday or Saturday, because it was the only time that we could drop him to be groomed. I then called and told by the owner(the eldest groomer) that they will no longer be accepting appointments for my puppy. I found that to be very disrespectful and and basically discrimination. I've never been anything but kind and respectful, when me and my little would bring the puppy in, even had conversations and laughs with both groomers. I also realized that they never asked for my puppy vaccination records like all other groomers. And Im pretty sure that the dogs are supposed to have proof of vaccination, before getting groomed. read more

I've been bringing my 2 bulldogs here for a couple years now and I've only had great experiences. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My older dog used to absolutely freak out when I took her to my last groomer. But here, she is so much calmer- they know her by name and she actually seems happy to see them! Great place!! read more

I have been bringing my miniature poodle to Granny Grunt's since he was a puppy. I live nearly 45 minutes away, but it is well worth the trip. Diane and her staff are so in tuned and in touch with the pets they serve, and it is so greatly appreciated. My poodle looks forward to going, and when I pick him up.. you can see that he was loved on and taken care of. Each time he leaves, he has a whole new and refreshed energy.
