They have great chocolate donuts, the oreo one is amazing along with caramel, maple, plain glazed, strawberry is so good. My fiance loves the red velvet cake donut as well. Cons What makes this 4 stars instead of 5 is they always run out of donuts. They are only open until 2. However, they run out of all kinds of donuts very early in the day. This may be the best donut place in Memphis. I went in on a Friday around 11:00 am, and they were almost all sold out. I can now see why they sell out so fast! The only ones available when I went in were glazed, cheesecake, and a caramel. The caramel donut was delicious! The donut is fluffy and chewy, which I love. The caramel and actual donut wasn't too sweet. I also got the cheesecake donut to share. I definitely will be returning to try more donuts because the selection was great. Purchased 2 dozen donuts plus some other items on Fathers Day. Donuts are quite large compared to other places. My fave was the maple bacon donut. The only thing that I felt needed attention was their customer service. I spent almost $50 on bakery products and did not get a smile, a "Thank you", or "have a good day". Sometimes people obsess over a long standing place (which is fine props for a long run), however, it may not always mean they are delivering you the best experience, taste, or dish. A great example would be Dyer's burgers downtown. To me, their burgers are just a glorified Krystal burger. I feel like Gibson's is the same. They have their pros and some people love that place, but they lost my business the minute I discovered The Donut Box. These donuts are fluffy and light.
