She did a great job serving everyone but you could tell she was a bit overwhelmed at times. It was nice to have the whole upstairs as it made it more private for our large group. Very well done although they forgot the dip for the beef dip but that was fixed quickly. There is plenty of parking outside and it was easy to get to. Would come here again.

Unfortunately my wife and I have had bad service, bad food ( as in the shits the next day), or just portions that don't reflect the price. I will be honest, the service has changed to the better now, and the waitresses even during the busy times are pretty consistent with our service and orders. Dicksons needs a make over, the pool was free but there's a ball missing, the upper bar is permanently closed. The beer is hit or miss, but so far I haven't been refused a on tap beer replacement because of the bad tasting beer. Though I have been told by the Barman "Everyone's taste is different." When I told him my Amber beer tasted like a mouthful of pennys. Consistency is something this eatery needs to work on. It used to be such a great place to go to.

I give this place 3 stars because their crispy onion rings that came with the steak sandwich were delicious and extra crispy one of the best onion rings I've had. Their Caesar salad was also great perfectly dressed with a flavourful Caesar dressing and shaved parm. I was very impressed with their crispy onion rings and their Caesar salad so I was happy I was still full. My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak with an Au jus dip - it was 8/10 the dip definitely made it better! I would still give his place a second try to try their charcuterie platter and maybe some other items on their menu. But would not order their steak sandwich ever again.
