Our family was thrilled to have found this establishment for high quality food. Tabbouleh was fresh, the herbs (mint and parsley) delicious along with the finely ground bulgur and fresh lemon and olive oil and even very nice sarmas (grape leaves). Top notch hummus, baba ghaboush, crispy falafel. The beef shwarma was highly rated by another member of the family with kudos to the white sauce. The gentleman who was cooking and running the show was very professional, friendly and polite. If he is the chef then we applaud his expertise in presenting a new favorite for this family. I was seriously craving chicken kebabs, so I ended up checking out this local Mediterranean spot. I went with the Shish Tawook two grilled chicken skewers that come with your choice of sides. I picked the hummus and salad, both of which were super light and refreshing. The only miss for me was the raw white part of the green onions in the salad, they were a bit too chunky for my taste. The chicken, though? Perfectly grilled...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It came with a tzatziki sauce that was more on the liquidy side, which isn't my favorite texture, so I just used it as a dip for the chicken and hummus. Heads-up: the menu on their official site isn't updated, but if you Google "Tasty Mediterranean," it shows accurate prices and lets you order online. This is the worst gyro I have ever had. It was like beef jerky and nearly impossible to cut with the plastic knife provided. The fries were not cooked thoroughly. They have a side which the man described to me as similar to baba ghanoush. This was pretty good but unfortunately was the highlight of the meal. I was never asked how the food was and did not question me when I threw most of it away. The reviews are very mixed here so maybe it depends who is cooking and what you order. It was slightly sour but mostly a creamy and smoother version hummus, but with a yogurt base. The beef shawarma is flavorful, but it could be more stuffed in my opinion. The pita was basic. This place was fantastic! Walked in and not busy at all. Staff was very friendly and helped us through the menu. The place is walk up and order and they'll bring your food out to you. So as mentioned, I use to try grabbing food from here quite often but the last few times haven't been the best. 2 weeks ago they forgot my beef on my hummus & beef and the meat in the sandwiches was so tough and skimp. I still decided to order this past weekend through DoorDash and I never got my fries or hummus for both orders, they didn't use the garlic sauce instead of tahini and the meat was sooo rough (yet again). Idk if the new cooks/people helping are just not up to par with things or if quality overall has just gone down. I saw the review for Tasty Mediterranean Grill from Karen F. and decided to try it, since I trust her reviews. It is close also... so very convenient! Outside, typical Florida strip mall... nothing spectacular. Inside, tables and chairs... a tv playing Middle Eastern TV, interesting, but I am not knowledgable enough to say what country or language. No decorations on the walls yet. A refrigerated box of beverages. A counter to order from... with a display of baklava that looked good. When I walked, I got a smile from the cook... and a young lady came up to take my order. Friendly and efficient. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma based on the picture Karen had posted, but went with the Mtable (I was craving Baba Ghanoujj, and this was close) and Hummus. I also ordered a Tabouleh salad to go with it. All to go! When the food was ready, got it paid for and headed home. Car smelled wonderful and I could not wait to arrive. Got home, opened everything up and took pictures, then sat down to eat! Chicken Shawarma was wonderful! Nice chunks of spiced grilled chicken that were moist and tasty. Some Shawarma places slice it razor thin... and you can barely taste it. This was good! Hummus... perfect, very nicely done. The Mtable was delicious... excellent flavor and texture. Pitas... a little dry and chewy, but I am just used to fluffier pitas... these were not that style. The garlic sauce (Toum) that came with the shawarma was wonderful, and next time I will order extra (or make some... it is pretty easy to make!) Portions were nice... I could not finish all the chicken after eating all the rest of it and a bowl of the Tabouleh (and still have plenty of that for tomorrow!) If you like this type of food... you need to try Tasty. After passing by their sign in a strip mall a few times on my way to and from work, I was finally in the area on a Friday at lunch time to give them a try. Inside was very clean and bright. There are a few tables and a counter inside to eat at, but I decided to order to-go. I was the only person in the place, so I had plenty of time to peruse the menu that was next to the cash register. I think it must have been the dinner menu though, because what I ordered was actually cheaper than the menu showed. I went with chicken shawarma, with hummus and french fries. I love that it came with plenty of pita. Plus the worker remembered to put in hot sauce like I asked for. Food was ready in the ten minutes I had been told it would be, and I was on my way. I devoured it at home and really enjoyed it. Generous portion of everything. The shawarma had great seasoning, it was just a bit dry. The hummus was fantastic, and the fries were very good. Came here for the first time randomly with my wife after shopping at Walmart. We were looking for a healthier and more fulfilling option outside of Charlie's and Wendy's next door. Hands down Tasty Mediterranean Grill is the best middle eastern "fast" food I have enjoyed in decades. The falafel is perfectly cooked, plump and not highly spiced so that you can taste the chickpeas. The hummus is thick and delish. The burgul is cooked with a touch of tomato and has fantastic flavor. I was thrilled with my entire meal and the baklava reaffirmed my delight with home made "real" baklava that is deceiving small but heavy with nuts, made with real butter and rose water. So I didn't get to see what kind of service they had but from the looks of it it is a place that you place your order and also pick it up and eat inside the restaurant if you want to. Came here today after hearing several on Yelp having loved their meals. Charlie G posted a picture that had me hooked so today I am here to try it for myself. I had the Chicken Shawarma with hummus and mtable. The wife had the same dish but with beef. Both were very good but we agreed the chicken was the way to go. The pitas were also tasty and the soft piano music in the background made lunch very nice today. The service was great today and the staff were helpful in finding Charleys meal and helping me pick sides. Overall a great meal and great rendition of Mediterranean food. Walked in and ordered chicken shawarma to go. The place was not busy, and the staff were very prompt and helpful. You get to choose 2 sides plus they include a garlic sauce and a pita. The order was ready very quick, nice portion, fresh, and tasty! I loved their hummus, it was absolutely delicious! One side note, the pita was extremely thin like a paper and it was dry, I couldn't have more than one bite.
