    beef Meat Shawarma Sandwich

Delicious food, can't say it's the best in town, but it does the trick. I've never had labneh before and this was very good! It was slightly sour but mostly a creamy and smoother version hummus, but with a yogurt base. The beef shawarma is flavorful, but it could be more stuffed in my opinion. The pita was basic. The service was decent, the guy forgot to give us our fries with our food so we had to wait for them to cook and had finished all the food basically once they came out. The fries were tasty though.

This place was fantastic! Walked in and not busy at all. Staff was very friendly and helped us through the menu. The place is walk up and order and they'll bring your food out to you. Plenty of indoor seating if you choose to dine in. They have juice options or Pepsi products for drinks. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Entree and hubs got the beef. So good. Comes out hot and fresh. The flavor is amazing. Loved the fresh pita bread and hummus that comes with all entrees. A must try!

First time. Nice service. Small operation doing take out "Greek" food. There are a few tables to sit inside this non descript decor. Bland decor makes for bland experience. Greek fresh salad with falafels was decent portion but falafels were over done. Gyro with French fries also was very dry. Very so so for take out. Not good quality and I repeat bland. Wish them well or to consider not over cooking the essentials.

Came today for lunch. The inside is clean with rustic decor. You place your order at the counter and then choose your table. The staff was very friendly and checked to make sure we were happy with our meals. I got the meat shawarma entree with mtable and hummus. My husband got the chicken shawarma entree with mtable and hummus. Both were great. I ended up preferring the chicken since it came with a garlic sauce, but the beef was very tender and flavorful. We look forward to coming back again soon.

So as mentioned, I use to try grabbing food from here quite often but the last few times haven't been the best. 2 weeks ago they forgot my beef on my hummus & beef and the meat in the sandwiches was so tough and skimp. I still decided to order this past weekend through DoorDash and I never got my fries or hummus for both orders, they didn't use the garlic sauce instead of tahini and the meat was sooo rough (yet again). Idk if the new cooks/people helping are just not up to par with things or if quality overall has just gone down. I may try again but not for a few months since the last 3-4 time have been disappointing.

Mtable, Hummus, Chicken Shawarma with a container of Toum (Garlic sauce). Delicious!

I saw the review for Tasty Mediterranean Grill from Karen F. and decided to try it, since I trust her reviews. It is close also... so very convenient! Outside, typical Florida strip mall... nothing spectacular. Inside, tables and chairs... a tv playing Middle Eastern TV, interesting, but I am not knowledgable enough to say what country or language. No decorations on the walls yet. A refrigerated box of beverages. A counter to order from... with a display of baklava that looked good. When I walked, I got a smile from the cook... and a young lady came up to take my order. Friendly and efficient. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma based on the picture Karen had posted, but went with the Mtable (I was craving Baba Ghanoujj, and this was close) and Hummus. I also ordered a Tabouleh salad to go with it. All to go! When the food was ready, got it paid for and headed home. Car smelled wonderful and I could not wait to arrive. Got home, opened everything up and took pictures, then sat down to eat! Chicken Shawarma was wonderful! Nice chunks of spiced grilled chicken that were moist and tasty. Some Shawarma places slice it razor thin... and you can barely taste it. This was good! Hummus... perfect, very nicely done. The Mtable was delicious... excellent flavor and texture. Pitas... a little dry and chewy, but I am just used to fluffier pitas... these were not that style. The garlic sauce (Toum) that came with the shawarma was wonderful, and next time I will order extra (or make some... it is pretty easy to make!) Portions were nice... I could not finish all the chicken after eating all the rest of it and a bowl of the Tabouleh (and still have plenty of that for tomorrow!) If you like this type of food... you need to try Tasty. It is excellent! Need to try those fries too... they look awesome!

After passing by their sign in a strip mall a few times on my way to and from work, I was finally in the area on a Friday at lunch time to give them a try. Inside was very clean and bright. There are a few tables and a counter inside to eat at, but I decided to order to-go. I was the only person in the place, so I had plenty of time to peruse the menu that was next to the cash register. I think it must have been the dinner menu though, because what I ordered was actually cheaper than the menu showed. I went with chicken shawarma, with hummus and french fries. I love that it came with plenty of pita. Plus the worker remembered to put in hot sauce like I asked for. Food was ready in the ten minutes I had been told it would be, and I was on my way. I devoured it at home and really enjoyed it. Generous portion of everything. The shawarma had great seasoning, it was just a bit dry. The hummus was fantastic, and the fries were very good. I will definitely go back to try other things on their menu.

I drove 40 minutes to try this place out because of the good reviews and they did not disappoint! I ordered my food to go. So I didn't get to see what kind of service they had but from the looks of it it is a place that you place your order and also pick it up and eat inside the restaurant if you want to. There wasn't much decoration to the restaurant but for me that just tells me the food is going to be good. But it did look well kept up. TheThe four meat entrée comes with one lamb cube, one ground beef, and two chicken kebabs. They were all refresh and not dry. I do wish they give you options to pick what meats you want because I would love to get four lamb cubes. The hummus was smooth and tasted fresh. I would say it's not the best hummus I've had but it's close to being first. The mtable ( which I think is baba ghanoush) was really good too. I love the smoky and creamy taste that it has throughout the whole dish. I love pairing it with my kebabs and pita bread. The only negative of this place is that I wish they would give better plates for the hummus and mtable. The oil was seeping through the to go plates.

4.6 /5. I get so excited when delicious food is put in front of me that I rarely remember to take a picture before digging in. Tasty Mediterranean Grill. Their name fits to a Tee. All the good reviews are well-deserved. I got the mixed grill chicken lamb and beef. Everything served fresh, hot and tasty. I would gladly return next time I'm in Tampa. Def a must try. Prices are reasonable!

The exterior of the building was nothing to brag about, but the interior was neat, well laid out, and clean. The owners of the restaurant were up front to greet dinners. The waitress was prompt and attentive. Mirage features a lunch buffet, so I was able to sample small portions of a lot of offerrings. My first plate was filled with selections from the cold salad station (hummas, pita, Persan picket, baba ganosh, etc.). The entree station had four different rice (balas) preparations. There was Basmati rice, a savory rice and two of the balas were sweetened with fruit and spices. All were tasty. The proteins were primarily chicken selections, but there was a beef koobideh that was also delicious. There were a broad selection of lentil and vegetable stews, so I made multiple trips to the station eating them as a side dish to a protein, over basmati rice and savory rice preparations. It may have been a cultural fax paux, but I treated the falafel like a cornbread muffin as I enjoyed the stewed vegetables and lentils. It was a good meal polished off with a serving of baklava.

It was very tasty and a good amount of food. The only thing I would change about my experience would be for the fries to be advertised as a side so that we'd know how much they cost, since the price wasn't listed on the menu. When I grabbed some ketchup packets for my fries, the packets had dirt on them which was a bit weird. Maybe I got the bottom of the batch or something. It may have been the fact that at my first job out of high school, folks called the truck that swung by the "roach coach." Conversely, it may be my binge watching of food network and their Food Truck Rally that has changed my mind. Either way, I'm very pleased with the fact that I've begun exploring these great little mobile sources of food pleasure. This food truck swung by work recently, and I have to admit I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to Middle East cuisine. The young woman taking the order was very patient and explained all the different plates, the variations available, and what came on each. Her top recommendation came for the beef shawarma and I told her I'd take it. One thing that folks have to realize is that these are mobile kitchens with very limited space. In today's age of fast food that seems to be sitting under a food warmer and being prepared long before you order, there is an unrealistic expectation that a food truck will spit your order out in a minute or two. I played on my phone for a while and was delighted when my name was called. The meat was perfectly seasoned and there was no skimping on the portions. The liberal amount of sauce on top added to the tastiness (and most definitely the messiness) of this dish. I'm hoping this food truck comes back soon. Not only for a chance to try some other of their tasty dishes, but also because of the friendliness of the woman at the window, and for how (relatively) quickly my food was served.

We had a 6:30 PM reservation and the restaurant was fairly empty (about 4-5 tables occupied), yet we were seated at a very small two-top directly next to another couple where we could clearly hear each other's conversations. Several larger tables nearby remained empty the entire evening. When I asked about moving, we were told the tables were reserved and we'd need to leave by 8:30 PM ~ yet we stayed until 9:40 PM and those tables were never used... Service started off slow. No one greeted us for about 20 minutes until we waved someone over. When our server, Briana, arrived, she asked if we had been helped, which made it seem like there was a lack of communication between the host staff and servers. Food was okay: the branzino with grilled vegetables was very good, but the octopus was extremely tough and chewy. My plate was also chipped on both the left and right sides, which was surprising considering how expensive the dinner was. Drinks were fine, just a bit too sweet. What really caught me off guard was the automatic 20% gratuity added to a two-top. The most expensive restaurants in Tampa don't even do it and this is not Miami. Overall, not a terrible experience ~ but not one that makes me eager to return.
