I literally cannot say anything bad about my experience! I went in with a very specific idea of what I wanted for a dress, and they were able to put me in something in EXACTLY what I wanted. This place is an appointment only boutique, and it is similar to "Say Yes to the Dress" because they bring the dresses to you! Which honestly, is a lot better because it is not as overwhelming. The ladies that were they were SO nice. They really listened to what you wanted, and really put you into what you wanted. They will offer their opinion when asked, and will make sure that you aren't in a dress you don't like. Because I wanted something so specific, there was not a lot of options for me, BUT, I was something traditional. They have SO many options, so there is something for everybody. Prices are extremely reasonable as well -- the dress I loved was less that $2000 before alterations, and that included the veil, the overlay, dress, and belt. The boutique was gorgeous, comfortable, and inviting! My mom, sister, and I loved our private experience together! I seriously loved my experience at The Dress Bridal Boutique. Although I originally grew up in Strongsville, not too far from the shop, I now live in Northern California. I knew I wanted to try on dresses when I was home this past weekend, so I made a couple of appointments in the area. My mom, my future mother-in-law (who flew out from LA) and my future sister-in-law (brother's fiance) came to The Dress for our first stop. The store itself is absolutely adorable. The personal touches, like my name written on a welcome sign and the cutest little cupcakes in our room, really made me feel so special. Jodi was my consultant and she did a perfect job. After describing what I was looking for she was able to pick out dresses that were beyond what I even imagined. Had I gone looking, I never would've selected the dresses she found. I'm glad I trusted her. It turned out that, much to my surprise, I liked dresses completely different than what I originally thought I wanted. By describing what I liked about each dress I tried on, Jodi was able to find me some seriously gorgeous dresses. Her ability to communicate was wonderful and she was beyond sweet. She was such a pleasure to work with. I ended up with three dresses that I really, really liked. Although I did eventually end up purchasing my dress felsewhere, I cannot say enough about The Dress and Jodi. The experience, even without purchasing a dress, was absolutely amazing. The shop is amazing and they make it so fun and comfortable for you to go and try on bridal dresses and bridesmaid gowns. After my daughter purchased her dress, i ordered mine, mother of the bride. When i went to pick it up, since i had not made an appt, i was not allowed to try it on. Now mind you, they have a little room down below, which is where i had tried it on in the first place, but that was never even brought up as an option. We drove from Aurora, bringing the bride, grandmother and her aunt as well. We were going to try on veils as well, but given the lack of respect and hospitality decided against it. It seems that after you have paid for your dress, you are no longer a priority here. read more

What a adorable little dress shop! It has a very welcoming atmosphere, loved the personal touches like the coffee station and mini cupcakes. The staff is very friendly and helpful they give your bridal party the personal attention you deserve unlike David's Bridal that rush you through your appointment and overlook your ladies in your the bridal party. They gave us more of a selection of dresses to choose from even had color swatches which was a big help being able to see the actually colors. What a fabulous store! I bought my wedding dress here and it was such a great experience. First, my stylist was Marina and she made me so comfortable with it all. Greeted me at the door, explained how everything worked, was super friendly and conversational, and picked the perfect selection of dresses for me to try on. I told her what I liked and she was spot on. She even picked some for me to help rule out other options. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable. I ended up shopping around and coming back to the second dress I picked a few days later. She was there to help me say Yes to the Dress. They have a great staff and what I loved was I didn't have to sort through the racks. She did it all for me making me feel like royal treatment. We ordered champagne for only $10 that was delicious and they provided mini cupcakes complimentary. The experience here was better than other stores I went to by far. The only positive thing I can say from this is that they have a large selection of bridesmaid dresses, yet I could have gotten this dress at another store with better service that would not result in my needing an absurd amount of alterations. I am a part of a bridal party, and the bride thought it would be fun to all go in and pick out our dresses together. We came after work, and the bride had scheduled a bridesmaid fitting for all six of us. We were only allowed to use one fitting room in the bridesmaid dress section even though there weren't any bridal fittings at the time. This meant that it took an unnecessarily long amount of time for all of the bridesmaids to try on and select dresses. When I was fitted for my bridesmaid dress, I was told I should order two sizes up from the sample size never mind the fact that the sample size zipped up completely. Yes, it was a little snug, but it was also the holiday season. Regardless, I found it absurd that I was told to order two sizes up. While I did not listen and only ordered one size up from the sample size. Sure enough, it is giant on me, and I need to have it altered in multiple places. Yes, the bridesmaid dress is pretty, but the service and experience were severely lacking. I will not be coming back in the future. read more

This is the cutest little shop ever and the only place you will ever need to go to find a dress! I went here when I first got engaged and found a dress I loved. I didn't buy the dress because I thought I should shop around since I hadn't been to any other stores yet. I went to 6 other stores in the Cleveland area but ended up back at The Dress. Emily was so friendly and helpful - it was like having another friend there shopping with me! The rooms were larger so my mom, future MIL, & 2 bridesmaids could all come.
