I got a facial which was through a groupon special and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The facialist asked me so many questions about my skin and crafted the perfect steps to leave me with glowing skin. My skin post winter was so dry, and I had some breakouts on my chin and she targets those problem areas and educated me about the tools and steps throughout the process. I should've known the second I walked in and seeing the amount of cosmetic and medspa offerings this not a legitimate functional medicine office. My first appointment I came in then did a BMI assess ment, took vitals, and then I met with Daiva who is one of their nurse practitioners. She listened to my symptoms as I explained what I've been experiencing with no changes and only seeming to get worse. She wrote down everything I mentioned and noted that I would need to come back for testing as no one told me prior to this appt I should've been fasting for lab work. I then came back about a week later, had an insane amount of blood taken for testing, urine test, and H. Pylori testing done. When I came back a few weeks later for a 2pm appointment I waited for over 20 minutes before anyone took me back and then additional testing was done prior to going over results with Daiva. A metabolic breathe test was done and then an ultrasound of my leg veins was done. I was assured that the ultrasound was a free screening and would not be charged. I have been monitoring my insurance to make sure that is true. I was already annoyed because at this point I had been here an hour and still not gone over my results. Finally we make it to the back and they are taking my vitals again and weight, then going back to see Daiva for all my results. This took about another hour to go over everything. My boyfriend came with me as he wanted to see if they could find out any updates and then determine if he should start coming here as a patient as well. He was even more annoyed that I was that we had been there for 2 hours and could not answer anything of my sickness and instead suggested I do additional testing that I had requested to do in the first place and would be all out of pocket costs. The only thing the lab work came back with was every vitamin in my body was very low and below the optimal functional range. They did not do the GI mapping like I had requested or glyphosphate testing. When I brought it to Daiva's attention that my allergist found out that my histamine levels are extremely high it maybe affecting my gut health and DAO enzyme productivity. Her response is "what is a DAO enzyme" once I heard that and all the specific testing I wanted was not done I knew this was a money grab functional medicine scam. They sent me home with over $500 worth of supplements and she recommended I start taking them all immediately. For someone who is depleted of these vitamins wouldn't taking all these doses at once send the body into shock? I followed up with my PCP, allergist, and a legit functional medicine doctor. They agreed most if not all of the herbal supplements they sent me home with were completely unnecessary. Very disappointed in what seems to be a money grab scam and there was still not clear diagnosis of my symptoms or what maybe even causing them. Very frustrating as i am still not feeling well and was hoping they would be able to say it was a gut imbalance or some type of parasite. Not to mention even more concerning that a patient knows more than their provider about gut health and enzyme. DO NOT GO HERE FOR FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE! I will be monitoring my insurance and credit card charges to make sure they are not continuing to charge me.

Last February I had gotten Botox and lip filler for the first time ever. It was recommended by a friend so I figured I'd give it a go. When I went in for my Botox it was given to me so quick without much information. About a week later my eyebrows were completely lopsided to the point you could visible tell. I went back to ask them if there was anything they could do about it and he told me to give it another week or two. So i did and it was still the same if not worse! When I went back I tried to explain it to him and I felt like he thought I was crazy. Even though you could tell just by looking at my that my one eyebrow was MUCH higher then the other. I'm a shy person when it comes to these things but again I tried to explain and he didn't really care what I had to say. Shot me up with more Botox and sent me on my way. Another week went by and my eyebrows were so bad that people were staring at me. I called the office to explain and the doctor wouldn't even come on the phone. He told the front desk to tell me to "wait it out again". I had to stay like that for 3 months ( how embarrassing ) until the botox wore off. When I got my lip filler they didn't even numb me. They sat me in the chair and did it so fast ( it was painful and uncomfortable ) and when he inserted the needle it went right through my lips not even on the top or bottom lines. I was left with massive bumps and he told me to go home and massage them. Again I waited two weeks and the bumps were getting bigger and bigger. When I asked why that was happening he had the nerve to laugh and tell me I was impatient and that I needed to wait. I was so upset with how unprofessional this was. I waited an entire month to two months before going back and showing him how bad the filler was placed and how big the bumps were and he AGAIN told me to wait. It's been over a year now and the bumps are so bad that it's been a nightmare for me to even smile in pictures. I went to a new place and they told me they have never see such bad placement of filler before. Now spending ridiculous amounts of money to dissolve them ( almost three times now ) and get them refilled. Safe to say my first experience with cosmetic procedures was an awful one thanks to this place
