The food truck is parked close to the welcoming center in Southwest Detroit at the entrance from Canada. There are outdoor seating areas in the vicinity where people could walk or drive to and enjoy their food if going home is too far. This is the kind of food that you'd want to eat hot and right away. The service/wait time was on point. The ordering/pick-up was smooth. I ordered the asada fries, a birria taco with consume, and birria Ramen. All items were good, but not amazing. They each could've used much more flavor. The meats seemed low grade. If better ingredients were used, these items would have been much tastier. When I got to the car and opened the box, I immediately noticed a large pile of butter/oil in the corner seeping out, and the sandwich was cold... it didn't have that crispy Parmesan cheese texture I've seen all over TikTok (bread was soft) and the inside was on the soggy side - so it was quite messy to eat. It's my favorite Pozole in the area, and I get it often. One more thing about their Pozole is it comes with one of the best sauces (?) (it's not a salsa, it's more like a paste) that I've ever had. It's not for the faint of heart, it's quite spicy, but it may be the best hot sauce (paste?) I've ever had, and it's completely homemade. I am a hot sauce connoisseur. I've tried almost all of them. It just really stands out. If you like heat, you need to try it! It's a wonderful, comfy atmosphere to eat and it's kind of tucked away in a neighborhood, so it's kind of a cool, almost "speakeasy" like location.
