It was immediately obvious that this was no mere consolation prize. It's a simple enough vibe - Walk in, place your order at the counter, and wait for your food. The ambiance is clean, fun, and pays homace to the local Detroit community. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and I was a happy girl. So many "fun" or "creative" burgers are a mess to meat. The Good Burger is tasty, creative, and I can eat it without looking like a complete slob. The onion ring and mozarella sticks were perfectly fried, and the burger was nice and juice. The bun ratio was right on the money- Perfectly propertioned to the burger meat and its friends. My husband ordered the Mushroom and Swiss burger which was also a lovely tasty treat, though it seemed to be half the size of my burger. We also really enjoyed the Cajun Fries. Comparing them to Five Guys seems the obvious choice, but I thought the seasoning on them was just right. Enough seasoning to get a sense of the flavor without making your burger taste exactly the same too. For those who don't like coleslaw, keep in mind this was a strong flavor on the chicken sandwich and you might find it plain and want to substitute something else to increase flavor. Now, my only complaint- the aggressively loud house music playing the entire time i was there. Wow! I had my phone on the loudest volume and still couldnt hear my phone call at all; which I had planned to take while on my lunch. Seriously, I almost considered asking them to turn it down, and I'm never the type to ask such things of restaurants. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and onions rings. I didn't get a picture of my grilled chicken but it was good . They did have two pieces of bacon ( thick cut) well it was one slice cut in half. The chicken was chicken tenders and not a filet however had a good grilled taste to it. I had lettuce, pickles, onions, Mayo and bacon on my sandwich. The onion rings were ok they just needed salt which o applied to them. I don't know what it is, but I literally inhaled them when they were brought out. Date inhaled his chicken sandwich and we both really enjoyed the food. The only downside? The lids to the cups for pop were essentially worthless. They were the correct size, but continuously popped off when you picked up your drink. Time for different lids please! Plus, the whole ride home I was drinking the lid never stayed on either of our drinks. ANNOYING!!! Overall a great place to grab a bite to eat and enjoy yourself. I like the idea of having all of the sides incorporated into the burger. The other House Sandwiches (curated burger combinations) are interesting in their own way as well, you have a Onions, Mushrooms, and Swiss burger. Horrible! Ordered through Doordash Food came quickly but that's where the happiness ended. There were absolutely no tamper-proof measures taken. I ordered sliders at a medium well temp, they were so overcooked that they were almost crispy; and dry, very dry, although I added coleslaw. The burgers come with bacon, which ended up being one teeny piece on each burger. The bun made things worse, as the burger to bun ratio was way off. I couldn't continue eating. Onion rings, meh... No expectations when I walked in. Never heard of this restaurant before, surprisingly the place was well kept and staff were nice. Bathrooms were clean and no worries about there being trash. I ordered the good burger, it had an onion ring, a delicious sauce and mozzarella stick cheese. The patty was thick and juicy for both burgers. The second burger was the bbq burger, it had bbq sauce, turkey bacon, and mayo. The flavor combinations for each burger were perfect for each. The mozzarella cheese provided a contrast with the sweet sauce. The bbq sauce on the second burger was too sweet to over power the taste of the patty or the other ingredients. Definitely a place you should check out. This is near the hospital I work at. We ordered online and walked to the place when we went on break. The place was packed with people. When I first walked in there were 2 workers behind the counter. There was a long line of customer waiting to either have their order taken or pick up there food. At the counter there was a sign that said that orders and service might be slow. I was ok with that. The part that bugged me was that there was no communication and you were standing there with no clue where to go. Finally someone came to the front and got the line going. For being lunch time you would think they would have more than 2 people working After awhile 2 other workers popped out of the back and started to help. We got there around 12:15pm and did not get our food till about 12:45pm. However, after eating my burger and Cajun fries I was definitely impressed on the taste. I would definitely go back to this place and recommend it. But I am not sorry for taking a star away. I know that this is hard times for most places as it is hard to find workers. Classic halal staple within the burger joint in Michigan. It doesn't get any better than this at Zo's good burger. I've been here more than a few times and confirm it's very similar to the one in Dearborn. This location is much cleaner and has less people crowding around the place which is a def plus. Most burgers and subs on the menu are pretty solid, but my suggestion would have to the BBQ burger!! It's the only way to go seriously, try it out. It's clean, juicy and such a well rounded burger that will leave you so satisfied with your dinner.
