Sounds like we're having the same experience with these people. I'd love to know why Yelp insists on filtering all of their reviews, not that it matters since they can't seem to get more than one star anyway I guess. I wish I had done a little more research before wasting the hour driving in and meeting with Nicole (is she the only recruiter who works there???). She supposedly had a position in mind for me, but we never got down to specifics. It became clear after about 10 minutes she was just going to file me away to call if something ever came up. She seemed both oblivious and uninterested in my work, my industry and any career goals. She had a sheet to check off the basics and when that was through, she was done and showed me the door. If Nicole is any indication of the Dubin Group's "high standards", they don't give a damn about their candidates. This was three weeks ago. I have heard nothing since. Two emails and a phone call later. Radio silence. Now, this is really becoming the norm for agencies. This part of the experience isn't really any better or worse than Peopleshare, Randstad or Bettinger. Inexperienced recruiters with no industry knowledge collecting resumes. However, what happened while I was waiting for Nicole nearly made me get up and leave before we even met. I arrived about ten minutes prior to our appointment and the receptionist (very sweet girl, probably the only real professional working there) told me to have a seat. While I sat waiting, I could hear two men talking (mind you in loud LOUD voices) about the most disgusting things. These were not twenty-something, gen-Y kids. No, these were middle aged, heavyset men discussing their latest sexual conquests, favorite alcohol and swearing up and down. Their comments were EXTREMELY sexist and offensive. I looked behind me as we walked back to the interview room to see who exactly I was overhearing. Later, when I DID finally do some research, I realized they were the owners of the company, Ken Dubin and Todd Kendall. That has to be the most unprofessional, disgraceful conduct I have ever witnessed. I've already cautioned all of my colleagues, friends and associates to NEVER let your resume get through The Dubin Group's door, but I want everyone to be warned as well. If you must use an agency, go to Juno Search Partners or Kelly Services. MUCH better quality of recruiters and absolutely more professional. Stay as far away as you can from this place! read more

Unfortunately, my experience with The Dubin Group mirrors those of all the other reviews. Honestly, I am not sure how these people stay in business as they don't ever seem to place anyone in any actual positions? At the beginning of 2015, I was laid off from my job and looking for a fresh start at a company that suited my skill set. I was marketable and in the finance industry. Upon my first meeting with a recruiter (don't want to name any names), I was told "you will be SUCH an easy placement," "we'll find you something in no time," etc. As someone who had just lost his job, I left confused and dubious and didn't want to give my hopes up. I wanted to believe all the nice things I was being told, but somehow it felt disingenuous. I was right. Jobs that I found posted on their website and inquired about, I was told "the company would never go for your lack of experience", despite the fact I met the criteria listed on the job description. Rather than give positive feedback about the jobs I was investigating on their website, it was consistently negative and never constructive or helpful. In two months, I received two e-mails, both short and unhelpful. The second e-mail informed me I would be contacted about a possible interview and I never heard anything in return. Fortunately, I was aggressively seeking a new position and was able to begin a wonderful new job that suited me and what I was looking for in a career within the two month time frame I was in contact with The Dubin Group. I know other people who have had contact with The Dubin Group and have had similar experiences. I would not recommend this recruiting agency for any purpose, unless you specifically want a job they are handling the recruiting for. And, even if this is the case, good luck with prompt communication and feedback. read more

I had a great experience working with The Dubin Group! Nicole found my resume and reached out to me regarding a position she was working on for one of her clients. While it was a little out of niche and a position I was not familiar with, she brought me in for an interview and really took the time to discuss the position, company, etc in complete detail. We also discussed my background and future career goals. Nicole really listened and understood what I was looking for. She answered any questions I had, and was extremely patient and very helpful throughout my 3 rounds of interviews with the company... She wasn't pushy by any means which is refreshing bc I was in the recruiting industry previously and am somewhat familiar of the process. Nicole was highly professional and extremely responsive. I HIGHLY recommend using the Dubin Group if you are looking for a job and want top notch recruiters to help land you a position. I was laid off in early 2013, and after sending hundreds of resumes out online for almost a year and never getting a response I felt hopeless and was almost ready to give up. Then I found a job posting by the Dubin Group that I had the qualifications for, and after responding to the job listing I was shorty thereafter contacted back. They set me up on an interview with the job I applied for and guided me through the interview process. Shortly thereafter I received an offer and they again helped me negotiate the hire contract. The founder of this firm and chief discriminator is Kenny "MAGA Man" Dubin who has no problems enabling employers that wish to undertake discriminatory hiring practices under the cover of his firm to hire people below market rates by using bate and switch tactics with high pressure and lies. If you a person of color, handicap, age or any other group that faces discrimination, or just a person who wants to be paid market rate for their education and experience, don't bother even applying to the Dubin Group. read more
