I absolutely love supreme sports club! My favorite out of all the Columbia Association gyms due to…read morethe variety of equipments, extensive weight lifting space in the basement and long hours, they are open from 4AM to Midnight daily. Staff is friendly, facility is clean. One frustration is sometimes being abruptly asked to leave a room due to an upcoming class, outside of this love love love this gym. They offer lots of classes, have cleaning wipes and sanitizing sprays for members yo use. They have trainers who offer personal training and also run the classes.

Where do I begin. I…read morerecently endured an extremely anxiety-inducing situation at the Supreme gym facility where another member (picture is included) nearly physically assaulted and verbally abused me. The employees at this location sided with the hostile gym member (later on in the altercation the gym member made it obvious that she has an external friendship with the supervisor, Sarah Claunts). Sarah Claunts, the day time gym supervisor, spoke to me in a condescending and sarcastic manner while I explained to her the situation. Long story short: I played music softly (emphasis on softly because the volume was less than halfway on) while warming up in an open workout studio. The hostile gym member was on the opposite end of the room doing their workout. As soon as they heard my music, they immediately started screaming "NO NO TURN YOUR MUSIC OFF I AM NOT GOING TO HEAR IT". Considering the individual was so hostile, I ignored them and turned my music down. The individual then began to approach me while saying "IM SPEAKING ENGLISH DONT YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?! TURN IT OFF". At this point, the individual was now hovering over me while I sat on the ground, all while they clenched their fist and screamed so aggressively I even felt spit come out of their mouth. I explained this situation to the staff, even recorded the situation, and all they could say was delete the footage and don't play music or record ANYTHING/ANYONE in our facility. I immediately sent an email to Columbia association explaining and they could not even apologize for the way I was treated. All they asked was to speak on the phone. I said I wanted to speak through email and they did not want to continue investigating this matter. Attached are photos of the obvious hostile member and how close they were to hitting me. I don't know how else to go about this matter besides warning other people to avoid Columbia in its entirety.

My daughter just completed her first season at this establishment and it's such a joke and such a disappointment, and I completely regret having her accept the offer here. Her team was not accepted into a few of the tournaments we registered for because they waited too late to register us. Instead of just registering us, they go to the parents in the beginning of the season and give them a certain time to pick which ones they want to register for. Of all of my 5+ club seasons of experience, when you sign up and you get an offer and you accept, they send you the schedule. The majority of the tournaments that we did get accepted into I had to pay additional fees for, not just for the coaches expenses, but for additional registration fees in general. The coach was not competitive at all. She tried to ensure everyone equal playing time in tournaments, my experience in club has always been you earn your spot unlike rec. The club itself is disgusting. The bathrooms are atrocious, some stalls work and some don't, you never know if you're gonna have toilet paper or paper towels. They overlap scheduling with club practice and adult rec leagues that pay to play on their courts so the club teams have to share courts while the club doubles their money for the courts. It's such a scam. I could not be more disappointed in a club volleyball organization.

Service was excellent- Taylor was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. They offer free gym clothes if you need them. The showers were immaculate with Malin + Goetz products. There were also q-tips, razors, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and plenty of towels! If you don't have headphones, you can rent Bluetooth ones. A no-brainer if your flight is delayed, you have a long layover, etc. Check their hours for availability. To access concourse D you may have to go through security again but it's worth it! The facility is massive -- it almost feels like a mall. There's a cafe, indoor pool, plenty of fitness areas, and spacious locker rooms. Everything felt very clean here which is a plus. The Sunday 10:45am vinyasa class was advertised as "medium heat" but it barely felt heated. The instructor wasn't my favorite and the flow felt clunky and disorganized. Her queueing wasn't very clear and if I were a newbie yogi, I'd be pretty confused. Most of the class was spent in child's pose or savasana and I would've preferred more time to flow and play. The studio itself is fairly small for the size of the rest of the gym. As a guest recently, I had to download the app in order to get my guest pass which was pretty annoying. I've never seen another gym do that and didn't appreciate the extra hoops to jump through. Overall, if this gym was closer and less expensive I'd consider it but for now, I appreciate the chance to be a guest here.

But the crazy expensive cost is not worth it. It feels like all the money goes to extras like the sitting areas, pickleball courts, classes that cost additional money, etc. The only gym area is the second floor, and even that is taken up by classes. Machines are often broken and dirty, kids are CONSTANTLY running around unsupervised and playing on the equipment, and the gym etiquette has taken a severe hit. You see people filming, reading up multiple machines, sitting for an hour while scrolling, and not putting things back. I had to change my workout so many times because the free weights were missing entire bands of weights. Again, the staff is incredibly kind and nice. But the gym does not deserve the almost $200 a month price point. I would pay $40.

My main complaint/regret is that they close at 6pm on Sundays. Secondary gripe is that it's in the middle of a business complex not very walkable to anything- normally that's not an issue but I took a Lyft here and then needed to find somewhere else to wait a couple hours without a ride. I arrived at 4:30pm and already had the waiver filled out so check in was a breeze. I only bouldered today but I took a peek at the fitness area and ropes sections. There are tons of cardio equipment, weights, and heavy lifting/squat stations. Also appreciate the availability of dumbbells in 7.5, 12.5 lb options- you don't find those everywhere. The boulders were challenging and fun, I maxed out at v5 today; I'm always more cautious at new gyms, but I enjoyed my short session. Some v4 climbs stumped me! The locker/restrooms are amazing too. Spacious, tons of lockers/storage, showers, and even a foot wash station. Looks like they have a robust yoga/fitness class schedule as well. I'm not sure when I'll be back in the Baltimore area again, but I will definitely revisit this gym next time! @azfitfoodfun

Our instructor, Thomas, was fantastic. He's super knowledgeable and passionate and very focused on safety. I felt comfortable the whole time and like I had plenty of time to learn at my own pace and ask questions. He was encouraging and kind. I didn't expect to learn so much in this class. By the end we were able to belay and climb. The course focused on tying onto a rope, belaying someone safely, and catching falls. Again, Thomas was focused on safety and explained common mistakes people make, why they're unsafe, and how to avoid them. After the class, we were able to explore the gym and do some climbing and bouldering on our own. That essentially means that the class came with a free day pass and set of rentals- a great value! If you're looking to get into the hobby, the classes at Movement seem really worth it.
