Not only is he one of the kindest people I've met in a long time, but it's also clear that he genuinely cares about the community and making it a better and more enjoyable place for everyone. Anytime we run into him in the halls or need to stop by the office he's always in a great mood and quick to help in any way he can. It's nice to have someone so dedicated to improving the property and the experience for residents. While there are still some cons to living here such as cleanliness in some of the common areas and the fact that the shared spaces are often unavailable on weekends because they're booked for private parties and events, it's reassuring to know that we now have someone managing the community who is clearly prioritizing improvements. I also want to highlight the new maintenance guys. I truly can't say enough good things about them. They are incredibly attentive and quick to respond when something needs to be fixed in your apartment, and they're genuinely kind people as well. It makes a huge difference knowing that issues are handled as quickly as possible. For transparency, the leasing agent who was previously known for being rude to applicants and unkind to residents still works in the leasing office. However, unless you are actively renting an apartment, you really don't have to interact with her. Overall, Will is doing a great job bringing in new team members and making positive changes throughout the community. It's clear he's focused on improving things, and that effort is noticeable for sure!

Be aware of erroneous charges and poor communication!!…read more I have spoke to the management team in person and sent multiple emails to them advising of an ongoing billing issue. The billing error has been going on since November 2024 and it has yet to be corrected. The team has ignored the emails and is now charging me a late fee for their error. I also had a $400 dollar fee added to my rent that was not discussed with me during the lease agreement. So, if you want to live in a place where fees will magically appear on your monthly billing , you have to scrutinize your bill, and debate inaccurate charges, come to the Exchange at Bayfront.

My mother stayed here for three weeks respite care after a difficult recovery from a hip replacement. She has had similar sojourns in assisted living facilities on three previous occasions. None of those facilities even came close to Pinole Senior Village. This is first and foremost because of the superlative staff at Pinole. In many other facilities staff are a combination of pushy, saccharine, aggressively salesy; and disgruntled, grumpy and clearly unsympathetic to the seniors in their care. And I get it - caring for seniors with varying degrees of physical and mental ailment is about the most demanding work there is. Some of the seniors here are fully capable, even drive. Some require a lot of care. I witnessed staff treating all residents with respect and kindness - and never anything less. The staff at Pinole make their work look like a pleasure. They smile sincerely. They're patient, polite and still real - and they work their butts off. They're really the best I've seen. They treat the facility like a community and work hard to foster connections among the inhabitants. The facility is clean and in good repair. There are a few patios including a small dog park. They have a daily exercise class for seniors and lovely lounges throughout. The food is good - sometimes great. I visited my mom nearly every day while she stayed here, often with my small children and a giant off leash Labrador (my mother's). Staff went above and beyond tolerating us roaming through the halls and making space for us at meals. Vivian often had popsicles for the kids at the ready. Sheryl worked through her birthday weekend to admit my mother on a tight schedule. I know assisted living communities vary greatly and money can buy almost any degree of comfort. Sadly, for most seniors money is a very limited resource. The prices also enable real people to live here and secure comfort, security and around the clock assistance.

The problem that most of us have, is we have a Guard Shack where we pay people to sit there and work and they just let anybody in. They do not check IDs. They do not call your house . I have had three different companies knocking on my door. They were trying to sell me solar and some other items in the last two weeks. Then when I called the Guard Shack to ask how they got in, the lady hung up on me. I would rather pay more dues were they have to call your house and check ID. I believe The other option would be to remove employees up a dialing system like we have in most places. You have to enter your if you don't have a code if nobody answers you can't come in. It's not rocket science and it probably save us some money. And then you could spend more money on security , streets and landscaping. Please figure it out. In addition, we have some areas where there's cars on the with three citations. And why have they not been towed?

These apartments are very nice. They have studio and one bedrooms. I have lived in both the studio…read moreand one bedroom. The studios are big enough for two people, but will get crowded. The one bedrooms are pretty much your typical apartment. Because the way the building was made not all the units look or are set up the same way. Which to me is pretty cool. Our balcony is connected to our bedroom not the living room. I wish it was the opposite but I have noticed that some are connected to the living room. So that depends on the unit you would get. There is a washer and dryer in unit. Dish washer as well. All electric kitchen. The living room is spacious. Overall the apartment is great. So far, the landlord has helped us with any issues we have had. Our dish washer broke and it was fixed within a week. Balcony door lock was messed up, landlord came the day we mentioned it and fixed it. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars it because of the price. What I have seen offered in Pinole and Hercules area this apartment is a slightly higher price. As of now the one bedrooms are $1,350 and the studios are $1050. I don't know exact for the studios. But that's the last I heard they were. I have been at this complex for a year and a half now.

The apartments are nice, some with a beautiful bay view. However, the walls are paper thin...you can hear the neighbor's drawers opening and closing and I actually thought someone was walking in her apartment but it was coming from the unit next door. I suppose Bridge Housing thought senior living was not worth a little extra money to cushion or insulate the walls to allow a little bit of privacy - Oh yeah and there's a train that chugs by often and the Home Depot - next door - is busy and noisy. Other than that, nice place.
