Very disappointing. Limp or brown lettuce, soaked in a cheap, bulk dressing and topped with canned, mushy black olives. The feta was sheep feta rather than goat. The cucumbers, onions and green pepper were fresh. I would not order from here again. This Milanos does not compare to the one in Perth - everything is fresh, well seasoned, and flavorful as you would expect a $40+ takeout to be.

But, these dudes totally know their pizza *and* make luscious Indian, and beat out an enormous number of Ottawa restaurants in both categories. I don't know what the deal with the pizza sauce is, but it makes the whole thing totally crave-worthy. The toppings and cheese ratios are perfect. The paneer dish was in the smoothest and richest of sauces, and the rice and naan were just right. It's a pretty basic little spot, looks like any pizza takeaway joint and only has a few tables, but, when I received an offer to be taken out and spoiled in a restaurant for my birthday this year, I went here. The food is so good I couldn't think of anywhere else I would have preferred to go. And while it might seem like an odd mix, pizza and Indian are just about my two favourite restaurant types; it's actually kind of a genius combination. Everything is very fresh, and you never get an under- or over-cooked pizza. I asked for spinach as a topping recently and was told _very_ apologetically that it was probably about to disappear from the menu -- "nobody orders it; I end up just throwing it out, box after box," and I had to pause for a moment to realise he had been buying fresh spinach. So many other places would have tossed on frozen and not cared! (Pizzaria Unlimited: please consider replacing it with broccoli, and, frozen is just fine...) This review was written with considerable difficulty as I do not have their food in front of me, and thinking about it is making me drool all over the screen.
