Staff was friendly and explained everything in detail. They did a amazing job ensuring everyone had a great time. They explained the impact of the winds and how it would effect the rides. The terrain varies getting to each station, but the ride is worth the hike. It is actually fun and a workout combined. Great family adventure

This was awesome! My 7 year old and I did the ropes course and the ziplining. Both together were cheaper than just ziplining when we did it in Hawaii! Maybe not as breathtaking as the Hawaiian rainforest, but still tons of fun. It was April 1 so pretty cold, only thing I would have done differently was bundle the kid up a little more. Even got a few snowflakes. I think you have to be 70 lbs to zip line so check that out first. Our zipline guides Declan and Simone were so nice. There was some hiking but nice water stops and a candy stop. They have a pictures package but they email it to you and weren't super pushy about it, which I appreciated. I really had a good time doing the ropes course... they had 4 levels, the bottom was for kids. Kid shed a few tears on level 2, so we headed back down to the bottom. I shedded a few tears on level 3, LOL. It was all very safe but I totally have a fear of heights, so it was quite exhilarating. They color code the obstacles so you can choose how crazy you want to go. Nice (free) playground nearby too. Definitely worth the $$$. Don't forget to tip your guides.

I had the best time with ziplines & Adventure while visiting the Castle Rock area. Our guides were very thorough super nice and personal. This will be my go-to place anytime I return to Castle Rock!! thank you so much for the fantastic service and hospitality, the breathtaking nature views made my flight back to the Bay Area relaxed & happy. See you soon. Sindy Sis.

Went here and on my 2nd to last zipline, the zipline attendant did not inform and gave proper announcement to her counterpart on the other end that I was coming and when I quickly realized he wasn't ready for me (his back was towards me) I tried my very best to stop (hence we had to stop on our own with just pressing down as much as we can with the glove on our hands), I hit the opposing barrier (even though he tried to catch me). My legs swung up and luckily I was wearing pants it help but the impact was so strong it ripped my pants and gave me a horrible cut on my inner leg and bruises. They are not properly trained, and this was not our first time zip lining. Just first time here. There were No apologies, not even any medical attention was provided, other than a drive back down since I told them I cannot continue (yes, they even asked if I wanted to continue)....

What an awesome adventure! We came with our special needs son for an adventure day, and we were a little nervous about the activities if they would be too difficult, the employees were super helpful and we really needed it, even mom and dad haha! But our son loved everything about this place! Such an awesome day!

First timers here! Researched to find the BEST experience for newbies and this was it!!! Our very patient guides, Brady and Simone, explained everything in detail before we began to make sure I felt safe! They were reassuring and professional and allowed us to go at our own pace. The ziplines height, length and speed were thrilling - but not overwhelming for first timers! Water offered along the way with some shade rest points as needed with small hikes between the ziplines! Overall, the best first time zip lining experience I could have asked for! We plan to come back next year when we are in Colorado! (Tip- Get the photo package!)

This place is located off I-25. Fortunately it is located about midway between Denver and Colorado Springs so you can get there from both places. Unfortunately it takes about 45mins-1 hour to get there from Colorado Springs. But it is worth the trip. They have ziplines about 9 of them. The slight catch is that you need to do some hand breaking yourself to slow down. It takes a couple tries to get it figured out but its not difficult. The less you weigh the less you need to break. My daughter who weighs 80 lbs did not need to break much. Some of the rides are long 1800 ft and the last one is a dual line about 1500 feet and you race one of your friends. They also have a rock climbing area with some free falls. Then there is the Epic Sky Trek where you can do various climb obstacles up in the air. The best part of the Sky Trek is the tight rope that goes through the middle of the Trek on the 3rd level, There also is a soccer field, hiking, and a 200 step climb at the park where Castle Rock Adventure Park is located. There is a cost for each of the 3 parts and the ziplines take about 2.5 hours, the Adventure tower about 1.5-2 hours, and the Sky Trek can take however long you want to test things about. But for all 3 it will take most of the day. We did the ziplines and Adventure tower in the morning to early afternoon and then ate lunch and then came back for the Sky Trek

Awesome and thank you! The drive from Lakewood was quick and when we arrived, there weren't too many other trekkers to share the course with. That said, the course is huge and even with others filtering in throughout the day, it didn't seem crowded. The course is multi-leveled and offers varying difficulties. Green is the least difficult; blue is moderate and black is the most challenging. These are all aerial challenges and you're harnessed in at all times. Even so, though, this is def a mind game as well as the physical element of each challenge. This is a half day experience and we'd recommend bringing a cooler with lunch with you, so that you can take a break mid day, rest your bones and mind, have some grub and then go again. There aren't any food options at the course itself, but they do welcome outside food. There are several flat lander activities to occupy your time while you have lunch / break and watch others testing their physical and mental capacities above you (corn hole, for example). We had a blast and even ventured to the highest level and completed a few of the challenges there. On the fourth level, I imagine we were 50+ feet high in the sky. The winds were significant. Holy cow. It was all terrifyingly fun! We didn't take many pictures as anything you brought with you on the course was at your own risk. There are cubbies on the ground level to keep your belongings as well as water to refresh you. Staff are peppered everywhere to monitor safety but not intrusive. Definitely take a look at their website. It was so work the $49 regular price and I often see Groupons advertised. Def go!

The Best Date Night and Scenic Train Ride in Colorado--Absolutely Worth Every Penny!…read more If you're visiting Colorado, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad should be at the top of your bucket list. It is, without question, one of the most spectacular ways to experience the Royal Gorge. The towering canyon walls, rushing river below, and breathtaking scenery make you feel completely immersed in one of North America's most incredible natural wonders. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was friendly, professional, and passionate about making our experience memorable. We booked the Vista Dome with dinner, and it exceeded every expectation. The food was delicious, the cocktails were excellent, and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. Once dinner was over, we explored the open-air cars, and that alone was worth the trip! We spotted deer along the riverbank, a majestic bald eagle soaring overhead, and even a beaver swimming below. Being outside while the train winds through the gorge is something you simply can't capture in photos--you have to experience it for yourself. I've read reviews mentioning the price, but after experiencing it firsthand, I couldn't disagree more. For a luxury train ride, exceptional service, a wonderful dinner, handcrafted drinks, and access to scenery you can't experience any other way, it is an outstanding value. This is so much more than a train ride--it's an unforgettable adventure and one of the best date nights we've ever had. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a romantic evening, or simply looking for a truly unique Colorado experience, I can't recommend the Royal Gorge Route Railroad highly enough. We left already talking about our next trip back!
