When my friend from high school came out for a visit, my wife suggested we try out Denver Adventures ZipLine tour and my friend was willing to try it out. We did the six-line tour and had a great time. The staff of four was especially attentive to safety and helped us all get through everything from the slow short trainer line through the fast long line that starts from a platform atop a short stairway and runs over a quarter mile across the valley to another platform on a hillside. It was quite exhilerating! I've got another review out there for a ZipLine place that I tried out on Hawaii's big island. Having done experienced that course (including a half-mile zip over a beautiful waterfall) in Honolulu, the Denver course didn't seem quite as scary. That is both because I knew what to expect and also because the harnesses and pulley equipment seem to have improved drastically in the four years since I did my earlier Zip trip. I would also note that the scenery around the Denver Adventures course was actually prettier to look at, even while screaming across a few dozen yards of steel cable. There were a couple kids in our group who were around 10 years old and they had apparently done Zip trips in Costa Rica, Texas, and a few other places. They still seemed thrilled by the Denver course and had a great time. A bit of warning: I had no trouble with the preliminary and between-Zip hiking in Hawaii and that's because the altitude was 200ft above sea level. In contrast, the Denver hiking had me a bit winded and I learned (just before the final Zip) that the altitude was 8,600 feet. The kids and teenagers didn't seem to notice, but we adults clearly felt the altitude -- and the water stations along the route were quite welcome! To their credit, though, the staff appeared to be accustomed to working with all kinds of tourists and didn't make a deal of it at all. read more

My three girlfriends and I booked a zip line tour this past week at 9am! We had such an amazing time with our guides; B-rad, Harry P and Pookie! They were funny, helpful, friendly, supportive and knew how to ensure a good safe time in the air! We did the shorter course but towards the end we regretted not booking a longer tour. We zip lined today. With we being me & my husband and our fourth grade son. We were in town for a vacation for our son's fall break. We had an absolute blast! The guides all had awesome senses of humor and focused on ensuring we each had an awesome experience. My husband and I zip lined during a separate trip to Idaho springs over the summer. And while we had a fantastic experience there....these lines were WAY better. Think longer and more scenic. Also a note for patrons visiting with kids. The guides were really awesome with my kid. First time in Colorado and first time zip lining. The staff was very professional and considerate, they explain everything thoroughly. The zip line views were amazing. The only thing that sucked is that there was no camera crew to capture photos while zip lining, however, go pro rentals is offered for 40$. These guys know what they're doing! If you're hesitating... don't! Safety-minded, fun-filled adventure for the whole family. Tony, Pokie, and Brad were our guides and we had an awesome time. I was there with 8 and 10yo kids and we had a blast. I had booked the 4 line tour - but upon weighing the kids, turned out they were heavy enough for the 6 line tour, which was plenty to cover about 2 hours... Tip: higher elevation than Denver... if you're an out of towner, give yourself a few days to adjust to altitude before the tour :-) read more

What a great experience! The staff were amazing and brought their energy for this experience. They were patient, instructions were thorough and they genuinely seemed like they enjoyed what they do. The zip lines were fun and even though you're high up in the trees, it didn't feel like it. It's amazing to see nature from that viewpoint. Denver Zipline is the best ziplining course we've ever been on. It truly lives up to its reputation - the longest, most thrilling (yet safe! 100% guided) zipline experience. We were debating between this and AVA zipline. I'm so glad we chose Denver Zipline. First of all, everything felt very safe and well kept, which is important when you're flying through the trees at speeds up to 55 mph. What made our experience was our three guides - Sam, Ryan, and Brett. They brought so much fun energy to the experience. We've done lots of ziplining before, but this was by far the best. We had a wonderful day at the zip lines. Took the entire family from ages 8-mature. Some of us look better in the harnesses than others but let's not dwell on that. We did loose one of the guides K-man who was compromised but that did not stop the rest of these diehards. Great experience with Caleb, Carson, and another guide at Denver zipline. They were 5/5 hosts for safety, fun, and entertainment. Definitely sign up for the 6 vs 4 zipline...because If you're doing it, go all in! The ziplines are sturdy, safe, fun, and not too scary at all. The zipline platforms are mostly going off the ground, not scary high platforms. A star was lost for 2 things, for the business to consider: 1) there were 12 people on our zipline tour, and as a result, it was really slow. You spend a lot of time waiting. I would love if the max was 8 or even 10. 2) heavy push for tips at the end. I loved the guides and supported with cash at end, and I didn't need the additional email and text messages asking for $$. I would much prefer to pay a bit more and not be hounded for tips. read more

We really wanted to find a great zipline to try when we were in Colorado and were so happy to find the Zipline Tour through Denver Adventures! It is pretty far from downtown, but totally worth the drive. They have an awesome lobby/gift shop and great bar for when you are waiting for your tour to start. We booked the 6 line tour which took about 2 and a half hours. This also included Colorado's longest and fastest zipline. All the ziplines are located in a scenic area that is absolutely beautiful to see from the air. The guides were clearly having so much, but were also very attentive to all safety measures. We hope to try some of the other tours that they offer the next time I am in Denver! read more

Well this group is serious, they take it seriously related to safety starting with COVID and while you are Zipline'n. Great group of guys there to make you're experience fun and safe. They offer a GoPro option rental for $40 My group have done several Zipline from Jamaica, Haiti, Branson, MO and this one was rated one of the best by my group. Oh my gosh! This was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend a tour with this company. They have 1 of the longest and 1 of the fastest zips in the US. Everyone was so nice, encouraging and helpful. We did the Zip n Sip where we got to try some of their local beers. They had a purple one that I fell in love with! We met an amazing group of ladies from Chicago which made the experience even better. They sanitize everything before you use it and make sure to follow social distancing guidelines while inside and driving up. The hike up was hell with the snow melting and mud. Don't wear white shoes like me. But after you get through the hike it's zipping through the tree tops with an amazing view. Go for it! read more

If you're in Denver, DEFINITELY check out one of these zipline tours! We booked online as a group and were able to fill out our waivers as well. Please note there is a weight limit for riders and they do weigh you when you check in! We got to the meeting place building and checked in - staff was friendly and explained how everything would work. We waited outside for a bit until they called us inside to watch a quick instructional (and funny) video. Make sure to bring a sweater, sunglasses, and a hair tie if you have long hair! After the video room, we went into the "fitting" room where the staff instructed us and helped us get into our harnesses, helmets, gloves, etc. The staff are friendly and have good senses of humor. Once we were all fitted, we were off into two vans to head to the zip line site, just a bit up the road (maybe a 3-5 minute drive). Before we tackled the big ones, we started with a small 20-30 foot long rope just to make sure we got the maneuver and posture right. We all passed ;) Then we did a short hike (maybe 5 minutes) to the first zip line. I wasn't too nervous in line, but got a little nervous right before I took off - I may have shrieked a little, but it was a short lived burst of adrenaline and the rest of the line was more exhilarating and refreshing. I'm not afraid of heights so I enjoyed looking around at the trees and enjoying being in the air. We did 4 zip lines total - the last one was very fast (40-60 mph???!!) and they gave us some more tips to speed up and slow down as necessary, making us all look a bit silly on camera. That one got my adrenaline up again. So much fun overall! I'd definitely recommend others do this and I'd give it a go again. They also gave us some snacks and water halfway through the ziplining and there was a photographer following us too if you want to purchase photos after the ziplining. BEST ZIPLINE IN THE LAND! I've been to Denver Adventures twice now. Both times, were the best experiences I've had ziplining. Why? Well for one, the staff are incredible. They are easy to talk to, very well trained and have infectiously fun attitudes (shout out to Jacob, Jakob and Carson). For two, the course itself is EPIC. You are truly flying through the forest at record speeds. When should you go? I've been during chillier weather and warmer weather. If you get cold easily, I'd say plan for a warmer month to go. You'll feel great going down the ziplines with the summer wind hitting your cheeks. However, if you can handle the cold, I'd highly recommend checking out the course right after a light snowfall. There's something about the snow on top of the trees and feeling like you are James Bond on a secret winter mission that makes for a PRICELESS MEMORY. read more

I cannot recommend this place enough! I took my son for a zip lining tour for his 12th birthday and we both had the time of our lives! Neither one of us have ever zip-lined before so we didn't know what to expect. From the front desk to the tour guides, everyone was so nice and so friendly, that really made us feel at ease. Not to mention that you really almost get a comedy show along with your zip lining tour because the guides are amazingly talented! Not only are these guys funny, but you can just tell, they all really know their zip-lining and THAT more than anything else, made us feel the most comfortable. I would tell the owner of this place to make sure you keep these guys and pay them well because they are awesome! Unfortunately, we couldn't do this online, but they helped me out over the phone (even when they were ziplining with other guests!). The friendly customer service continued in the actual tour. Took a group of 9 to go ziplining today! The girls saved some cookie money to be able to go. About half our party had never been before and the guides were able to make every one feel comfortable. One of the guides was telling a fair amount of jokes and getting everyone to laugh. You meet at the office. They will temp you and you need to wear a mask when in office and near guides. They weigh you so they can appropriately fit you for gear. Which is Done outside now. Our group did the 6 zipline tour. The scenery was beautiful and the length of the lines was great/perfect. They do have Colorado's longest zipline and also the fastest one. Everyone had an amazing time and would love to do it again! read more

The staff are professionals and made us feel completely at ease with the prospect of hanging from a steel cable 250 feet above the ground. Great experience! My parents were visiting Colorado, and we decided to do something different, something in nature, something active, you know the drill. My parents did the 6 zipline tour--Colorado's longest and fastest, and I decided to spectate instead of participate, heh. Guides were all very nice and helpful, giving good, clear instructions. They made us feel safe. For the 4 or 6 zipline tour, word of caution, there is a steep hike that may be a little challenging for people who are out of shape or have chronic lung issues (way above sea-level). An older gentleman in my group just flat out refused the course, and my dad was on the verge of quitting right after. Other than that, my parents had a really great time! Highly recommend! Of note, I don't know if I would spend money on the GoPro upgrade again, but I was the spectator recording my parents. They strap a GoPro on your wrist or helmet, and you video record yourself going down or whenever. Not a bad idea for people who don't have paparazzi I guess. The two memory cards are still at the bottom of my luggage, just saying. read more
