I've gotten what was planned both times no issues. The service was timely in communication and application. I initially got the space snail with Tasha and it was beautiful! I can't wait to expand lil dude. I did learn with this snail that I am a bit rough on my arms in the healing process but it's okay. Things happen and it can always be redone. Today I got a flash glitter frog by Kiya and she was dedicated to the details. Very chill vibes in the shop. I would definitely come back for more and recommend. My young adult daughter chose here for a 3 inch tattoo with one color in a very small part. I went with her for moral support. She was charged twice what it would be anywhere else for a fine line tattoo. She was quoted one price on the phone and another once she got there. I questioned it but my daughter didn't want to push the issue. The gal at check in was nice enough but insisted that I was wrong in my comparison of cost. The "artist" doing the tattoo was rude. She did nothing but a quick wipe down with spray and a paper towel for sanitizing. She was fast and it reflected for quality. When I questioned it, she said "It is fine." As soon as we were on our way out she pretty much beat us to the door. Must have been the end of her shift so that explains some of it. The tattoo isn't aging well and very much needs touched up. I've encouraged my daughter to go back and get it fixed, but she doesn't want to deal with the women working there. read more

A staff member was extremely rude to me while I was turning around in the parking lot during a confusing medical situation. I had backed up after almost being hit by another car, and while waiting for that car to back up, a woman came out and yelled at me to get out several times. I understand the panic in a situation with an ambulance but I feel as though the situation was handled very inappropriately. None of the medical staff were rushing and I was simply trying to vacate the parking lot AFTER following a van into it. read more

Stay far far far away!! They steal art and pass it as their own and you will get nothing close that you ask for. It's a shame the art that was asked for and what they produced. The co owner googles images of what you'd like. Nothing gets drawn. The art that was pulled from google wasn't even matched color or picture wise. I wondered how I was able to get in so quickly?? Drum roll please. . . They bribe people with free piercings if they leave a 5 star review. . . So that's why it's higher. Naturally I was excited, but confused when I was able to get in so quickly. After the excited blur cleared I'm able to look back and see why now. They are a joke of a shop. Two different people two different tattoos done by two artists and they both came out messed up and nothing like they should have. There were simple requests made that were ignored. Absolutely no highlights or low lights. I wish I had seen the review about them stealing art because I mentioned it to my friends and should have listened to my gut. After it was all said and done I sat there and wondered what are they claim on their Facebook page is really theirs and what isn't. Went there for a quick Friday the 13th tattoo and left with two. They healed great and very quickly! Loved how they turned out.

This shop is extremely poorly run. This review is not even about getting a tattoo, because we never got that far!!!! We had purchased a couple of the sales for $350 and 6 hours, PLUS a $50 deposit on top. I should have known that was too good to be true! The communication is poor. We had our original artist leave and weren't even told. We found out via a vague Fb post and had to message the shop about what was happening. The new artist did not design a tattoo to our liking and then WE got told it was our fault. WHAT? We are also unwilling to PREpay for a tattoo beyond the deposit. When we said this (unknown) policy made us uncomfortable, we were told that we "REFUSED" to pay. Um, what? I have never had to prepay for an entire tattoo. Ever. Communication with the shop manager afterwards was very defensive. No sense at ALL of trying to make things right, or trying to understand a paying customer's point of view. I am very thankful we did NOT get inked here. Stay away! read more

I bought my husband the 6 hour special session as a Christmas gift, 2021. I thought this would be an amazing gift but am now regretful for purchasing anything from these shop owners. The man that did his tattoo (shop owner) 1. Was very arrogant and self centered, only talked about himself. 2. Quit doing the tattoo one hour into it because he "didn't feel good" He has not reached out or answered e-mails, messages or phone calls. 3. The work my husband had done is terrible too. I will not recommend this tattoo parlor to anybody. I had paid a deposit and went back on a later date to pay in full and set an appointment. When my husband finally got an appointment set and went in the man proceeded to ask for the rest of our payment, we paid in cash and they had no record of it. We didn't have to re-pay but the un organization and lack of professionalism isn't surprising now. read more

I REFUSE to recommend this place to anyone. Anyone who asks where I got my tattoo, I either refuse to tell them, or i tell them and warn them to stay clear. I will say my tattoo turned out great, but I was lucky. Mica( the owner) stood over me literally shaking the whole time while he dug deep into my sternum area. But that's it gets so much worse. My husband had been dying for a cover up. Mica swore up and down with overconfidence that he could do it. So we booked. A few weeks later we get a FB message from him, begging us to pay upfront to help him get his son moved to Nebraska. We stupidly agreed. My husband went for his appointment on 3 separate occasions and each time found out it was cancelled or Mica just didn't show up AFTER he had driven the 40 minutes to his shop. The tattoo was finally done and let me tell you.. its the worst work I have ever seen. It looks like a black blob with scratchy lines that's supposed to somehow resemble a compass. Mica knew it was a mess. He said he would work on it more ONLY if we paid him more. So you're saying we have to pay you more, after helping you out, and all the hell you put us through, to fix YOUR horrible fcked up mess? No I beg anyone wanting a tattoo, stay away. Don't make a permanent mistake when there are so many amazing shops in the area. He makes himself sound amazing with his news articles and his huge ego seems legit, but its like playing Russian roulette with your skin and his gun. You're either walking out with an "okay" tattoo (million to one odds) or you're walking out with a horribly mutated version of what he promised you. read more

I am beyond disappointed with the professionalism of this establishment. I came in on August 21st of 2021 and got my vertical Labret pierced. not only did my piercer NOT mark my lip before she pierced it, she also did not pierce it correctly. It is too close to the surface, and on my lower lip line. For those who don't know, a vertical labret should be pierced BELOW the lower lip line. and to make things worse, they tried to make me pay full price for them to fix their mistake. Be aware! Electric Ink Society in Belleview has no problem taking your money and running. We set up appointments for tomorrow for three of us. Gave $150 deposit. Sent them our designs. Then today, they told me that my tattoo wouldn't work so sent me a different design. I said it wasn't what I picked out and they got upset saying it's too late for a redesign and we'll have to reschedule. Redesign?!? What I had picked out was approved with dimensions. Granted, I hoped they would customize the idea I picked. But they went a totally different direction. Quoting that they only do original work. (See pics to compare original work from temporary tattoos online) The receptionist messaged my wife that all the appointments were cancelled. I called to clarify we were chatting with the right people and the receptionist lost her sanity. We live 2.5 hours away and clarified we can all three come in at same time prior to placing deposit.She said we had to reschedule and couldn't all come in together. I asked for confirmation that refunds were not going to happen because they couldn't do what I want (which is NOT the French style St Michael), she replied.... "You know what, that's fine. I'm spamming your wife's account and you're not allowed to contact us again. And you're NOT getting your money back!" I asked why she was so angry and she hung up on me. Sad thing is, we tip extremely well and now that will have to go to my regular artist. Very bad business ethics not even deserving one star. Update to the review as I'm on the road and can't delve into it further at this time. I am super sad to even be having to write this, but unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with the electric ink society in which I was never asked for identification, nor were any papers signed. It is completely apparent that this is not a legit business, especially given that they accept ONLY cash. it is blatantly obvious that their books are not up to record are not accurate and I don't even know if this is a real LLC I would highly recommend not going to the electric ink society based off of just these reasons alone, other than that, I asked for matching tattoos with my mother they upsized it telling me that due to the lines they wouldn't be able to make it smaller, despite me having a tattoo sitting right alongside it done by someone else with the exact same type of line work and the tattoo was made the size that I wanted. Not only this, but before even showing up to the tattoo shop, I was quoted $30 less than what I was charged in building, which in another state with higher minimum wage higher expenses in general was quoted less, and yet I was still quoted a higher price in Nebraska than I was in my own home state. The saddest part is what was quoted is getting pocketed by the owner of this said "business", and due to the inconsistency and poor management the artist got tipped less. I would not recommend this studio to anyone! we went for matching tattoos of the mad hatter hat, and they do not look the same - each different sizes and the bill of the hat is different on each tattoo. We opted for 1" x 1" and they couldn't even add the lettering. She either didn't have that size needle or didn't want to take the time to switch out needle sizes because I have other work from other places with the same size print as what was requested so I know for a fact is possible. I was quoted $50-$65 with full knowledge of what was wanted and once there, was charged $80 each. The artist wouldn't even move her backpack off of the seat. The shop is horribly ran and filthy. We were unsure if what we saw on the wall, after she started our work, was ink or blood. The wall was covered with drawings that look like an elementary kid did them and they were all of pictures I have seen online; nothing original. if you want a spot that can show you how to print off a picture and trace, I don't even know if this is the spot for you. The lines in the hat didn't even match, which means the stencil that was approved was not even followed. Don't waste your time or money by going here. read more

I'm only giving a one star due to the fact that I cannot give a zero. I had a tattoo started at the end of June 2018. It was supposed to be finished the very next week. I have now had 7 cancelled appointments and have been ignored about finishing my work. I was dumb and paid it all up front. I will not be finishing my tattoo with them and will most likely not receive any refund. When I questioned Mica about getting it done he told me the only reason he was putting me off was because I kept pressuring him about getting my work finished. He has lost any of my future business and I have steered many friends away from getting work done there due to his lack of morals. If you are considering getting any artwork done I suggest going with literally anyone else in the metro area. Trust your friend in his moms dusty basement over waiting 7 months for a 4 hour session. Mine was supposed to be a military tribute with a personal aspect and has yet to be finished. Steer clear and go elsewhere. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars but I can't! I was once a customer and will not put my name on here because I'm absolutely petrified that he will come after me for what I'm about to say. DO NOT GO HERE HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND NOT FINISH YOUR TATTOO IF HE EVEN BOTHERS TO START IT!!!! This shop is far from sanitary and neither is his work space. If someone leaves a bad review he will call you and threaten you until you take it down and if he finds out it was you telling people the truth he will threaten you and your family. I made a grave mistake trusting him and now I am seriously regretting it. Please if you respect your body do not go here unless you are going to Raul!
