I was very impressed with this small little spot in the Home Depot parking lot! My masseuse truly knew what she was doing and applied the appropriate pressure throughout the massage. They really cover every inch of your body with the 70 min combo massage (neck, shoulders, back, butt, legs, arms, face, head, feet). After leaving I felt like I was floating; very relaxed and muscles with increased mobility. The only downside to this spot is that the rooms are not separated by ceiling to floor walls so you can hear the massages happening next to you, customers coming in, and when the boba shop next door's blender. It does take away from the experience a bit, but I do feel that the massage is still very worth it. The atmosphere is dimly lit, calm, and relaxing, though not overly fancy, more quaint and comfortable. What stood out to me was the music lol it wasn't the typical spa sounds. Instead, they played soft instrumental versions of artists like Elton John and Cyndi Lauper, which gave it a unique and surprisingly different vibe. My daughter and I did a couples massage, and they placed us in a cozy private room together. ‍ The Massage Experience: My therapist, Sunnle, was absolutely amazing. She asked about my pressure preference, and when I said I was in pain she offered medication (which I declined) but I did ask for a deep tissue with firm pressure, and she delivered! She worked through the knots with precision and strength, even using techniques where she applied deeper pressure from above the table. I chose the 70-minute combo (40 min body + 30 min foot massage), and every minute was worth it. The hot stones added an extra level of relaxation and muscle relief. Do not support this place! I went in and got my massage and cupping and was charged via my card by the massage therapist who clearly didn't know how to use the machine. My apple payment went through I heard it ding and then to my surprise she says sorry it got declined. So she looks at me crazy like how dare I, and I say that's weird but okay I have cash in my car, she follows me out the door watches me the entire time and then has me pay. So in total I paid for 2 massages only to get 1. Days later the charge shows up on my phone and I go back with my fresh cup marks on my back and say hi remember me I was here a couple days ago show her my cupping marks and then show her my phone receipt and she says let me check my records she found my exact record time and amount matching and then said no it's not you, this is because apple changes the last 4 digits of your card for security reasons when you use tap simultaneously she's freaking out calling people on the phone and trying to find a way to retrieve her records. I translated everything she was saying and it basically was her telling the other person on the phone that she doesn't remember and that even if she did there's no way to figure it out because the records aren't accurate and in her hand is a literal piece of chicken scratch where I guess they keep cash records. I tried to get it handled with my bank but they said since I didn't have a receipt of the cash transaction they can't do anything mind you she never gave me a cash Receipt. I have called multiple times to speak to the owner and they tell me sorry new owners or sorry she's not here. I'm so angry that this is acceptable to them when I've been a loyal customer for years. I've been coming here a few times a year, I just went in and asked for a one hour massage, I received 30 - 45 minutes of elbow to back followed by hot stones and about a 10 minute actual massage, I wanted to give the lady a $10 tip anyway I asked her if she had change because I had a $20 bill and only $8 in charge and she said "no too little I keep $20" I asked her to give me my $20 back and have her my loose $8, then she flipped a placard and it read $15-$20 tip on $50 massage, I gave her my $8 and proceeded to walk out she followed me and took pictures of me and my car. I told the lady that I only want 30mins for $40 but the lady masseuse (around 60's) insist the what she called "medicine" (oil) for additional $20 by the front desk. I had no choice but to pay for that since my body really hurts and I don't want to make a scene if everything gets worse since it was also a language barrier and for sure they will argue, dont care if they make a scene or not as long as they will get what they want. I have been to so many other more expensive spas, but here I pay a decent price and get the treatment I really need. I usually get very firm pressure and I ask for cupping. This place is great! My recent massage experience at a chain location was not up to par, especially for the price I paid. Grand Massage made me feel comfortable & welcome. I personally found the space very relaxing, despite the massage areas being separated by only curtains & it being next door to a dog groomer. The tables are comfortable and I didn't feel cold. Nothing fancy but given the great quality massage & the price point, happily come to this hole in the wall spot over a fancy chain any day. The massage itself was relaxing and quite thorough. I felt the masseuse had expertise and used her time efficiently. She also used the perfect amount of pressure. She also took into account exactly what I asked for. Instead of going under a sheet like most places, these folks use a large towel to cover your body and they also somehow incorporate it into the massage. I didn't mind it at all, and surprisingly I wasn't cold. (You can tell I really hate being cold during a massage lol). The way the break up the massages is odd- a full body did not include a foot massage. So if you want a full body massage ($40/hr!! Wow!) including your feet, make sure to clarify that you want a "combo" body massage. I can imagine their reflexology massages are great too, I can't wait to come back! read more

La Mirada, California. Pricing varies depending on packages. I get the hot stone one-hour protocol running appx $50-60 with tip. The last mini trip strained my core/gut, and upper extremities. This is strange because my calves, and feet normally get messed up. I get messed up often in case ya didn't notice because I'm #OLD + #DUMB. My left shoulder is really messed up.
