What a great shop! Yesterday I called The Enchanted Florist after lunch, in a bit of a panic, and asked if they could deliver flowers to my girlfriend's office in Austin before she left work for the day. I was told that shouldn't be a problem. I ordered the "Dear Mama" arrangement and I was able to include a personal note. When the flowers arrived to my girlfriend's office, my personal message had been hand-written on a card by one of the team members at The Enchanted Florist. It was such a sweet, memorable, and human touch. I don't live in Austin and I was a bit nervous that what I was ordering and what would be delivered would meet my expectations. My expectations were far exceeded! My girlfriend was thrilled and she has received numerous compliments on the flowers from colleagues. Enchanted Florist is the best florist in Austin. My boyfriend called Enchanted Florist last minute to order some flowers for our engagement and wow. I worked at a great floral shop in the past, so believe me when I say, THESE FLOWERS WERE INCREDIBLE! Enchanted Florist made our day extremely special by being helpful, sweet, and attentive to what my boyfriend needed. He didn't know exactly how to order the flowers, so he just spoke to Erika (one of the florists), and she helped him through the process. It was seamless and smooth. The day he planned to propose, he was late to pick up the flowers, but the girls had opened early just to make sure they were there in case he came before the scheduled time! The designers, Noe and Erika, helped him get the flowers in his truck because they knew he had a deadline to meet! Everyone was so helpful from the beginning to end. Crystal, the owner, found out my boyfriend (fiance now) was flying in the night before and also that he is Active Duty military, so she decided to make the arrangement extra beautiful! I used to go here for just flowers. However, now it sells really cool unique gifts and cards as well. The original owner retired and her daughter (Crystal) has now taken over which has lead to cool revamping of the store. I stopped in this week and loaded up on lots of reasonably priced gifts. From Prince and Bowie candles, cool little geometric planters with air plants to a 3D laser printed orchid bracelet. All things I hadn't seen anywhere before in Austin. I will be going back soon as apparently they are still in process of redecorating and there were tons more items (jewelry) that weren't out and on display yet. If you are downtown check them out. The Enchanted Florist did an amazing job of designing bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, ambient floral decorations and hair pieces on my wedding day. They delivered everything to the wedding location, going above and beyond the call of duty by assisting with boutonniere pinning and placing their handmade hair pieces in my half up-do on the big day. (Which was not easy!) Staff are friendly and kind, and took my vague, hand-waving semi-descriptions of what I wanted and turned it into perfect reality that surpassed my expectations. They did not create an invoice for my order, however, which may be troublesome if you need that sort of thing, and I had a some difficulty getting the details of my order finalized until the week before the wedding due to unresponsiveness because the store was temporarily understaffed. Again, I was incredibly impressed at the Enchanted Florist's ability to read my mind and provide an unforgettably beautiful and perfect wedding bouquet. read more

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my fiancé's office today on Valentine's Day. I placed the order 5 days ago. As these are were to be delivered to a business office, you would expect the delivery to take place during the day before 5pm. They did not deliver before 5. I had to cancel my order because of this. The one day florists make their money is Valentine's Day and they could not conduct reasonable business. Stay far away from this overpriced florist. read more

Ripped off on Mother's Day! I ordered a "Full of Love" bouquet online from Teleflora. The Enchanted Florist delivered my order. I ordered the "premium" version of the bouquet, but the product delivered was no where close to even the standard version. It was to have included roses, but there were zero roses. I can not say enough good things about this shop!! I have a friend in the hospital and they are in ICU and can not accept arrangements/balloons on this floor, the florist has checked in with the hospital a few times (I literally didn't ask them to do this- I just told them I would contact them when she was moved to a different floor), they have so kindly updated me that they are checking so that they can deliver them arrangements as soon as she is moved to a different floor. I should have written this review then when it happened, but I was a bit dumbfounded how it actually was possible that someone would do that. Anyhow in 2011 my then boyfriend decided to send me impromptu surprise flowers for a 1 year a a few random months anniversary... he called around and luckily of all the florist this one said they would do same day delivery... only he had to pay an extra $25 rush fee. He said sure, let just go ahead and do it. I always figured out and ruined any of his planned surprises. So this was suppose to be the first. Anyhow, they asked him for an address and MY phone number. He asked to verify that they didn't actually want his number as they were surprise flowers. They wanted mine. Anyhow, the driver couldn't figure out the address, called me asking for my boyfriend's name, to which I replied "oh that's my boyfriend, this is Thao, what can I do for you?" he said "oh you are Thao?" To which I said, "yes, who is this?" "Enchanted florist...." My reply of course is, oh so this must be surprise flowers? The driver made it, didn't apologize for anything and promptly left. Over $75 in flowers, without the joy of being pleasantly surprised by them. Disappointed to say the least, and not worth the rush delivery fee after all of that. read more

I went to enchanted florist expecting a great result, but no such thing happened. I was searching for my florist for my wedding and had such a slow response starting from the very beginning. When I walked in I we sat down, talked about what I wanted (which I wasn't sure and they didn't help much). I should have known that I needed to figure out what I wanted in flowers b/c they tried to rip me off. A floral arrangement for the bride was going to be 200 dollars - what!! No way.
