I love this local downtown florist!!! I moved away from Austin years ago and will always use Enchanted Florist over one of those big online florists. Just yesterday they indulged my last-minute idea to surprise my sister with flowers at her downtown office. I ordered a nice arrangement online at 11 am with a request to deliver before her departure at 4 pm. Just after 2 pm I received a very elated message from my sister with a photograph of her flowers! Everything was perfect: from the communication, to the type and number of flowers, to the timing of delivery, to the customer service, and even the price! I'll continue to use Enchanted Florist as long as I have family in the Austin area! read more

I ordered from the FTD website and upgraded to the "Best" version of the bouquet (19 stems) to be delivered to a friend in the hospital. A couple of days later I visited the hospital and was horrified at what I saw! What Enchanted Florist delivered was a pathetic little clump of flowers containing 4 stems -- that's HALF the amount of what even the BASE version was supposed to contain (8 stems). They were supposed to deliver 19 stems, but delivered 4. This florist didn't just misread the order and deliver the wrong version, they intentionally shorted the design. The didn't even deliver the upsell balloon that I paid for!! To make matters worse, they are non-responsive to FTD, lying that they delivered what was ordered -- hard to believe in the era of cell-phone cameras that they think they can get away with such lies! This is nothing more than intentional fraud. Steer clear of these scammers! read more

I dropped the ball on ordering flowers for my anniversary. My wife likes calla lilies which aren't always easy to find. I called around a bit and was about to go with the just a bouquet of roses when Enchanted Florist came through for me. They made a beautiful bouquet at a reasonable price on short notice. On Thursday, June 2, 2016, I ordered a "Joyful Day Bouquet (Good)" online for my mother's 75th birthday. When I arrived at her house that evening, I was shocked to see how dismal the bouquet looked. It was half the size of the photo shown online (which alleged did picture the "Good" version of that bouquet) and some of the flowers were wilted and actually browning around the edges. I paid $60 for something that looked worse than a $20 bouquet I could have purchased at a grocery store. I would definitely not recommend Enchanted Florist. read more

My husband recently ordered me some "just because" flowers from Enchanted Florist. It was a bouquet of gorgeous yellow roses with some other flower in a deep burgundy (don't know what they were but they are beautiful). The flowers were huge and in bloom. Plus there was a bag of candy tied to the vase. They have lasted over a week and are just now starting to droop a little. Would definitely order from there again. Unknowledgeable and Bad Bad costumer service! My boyfriend sent me a potted orchid and when it arrived it was soaking in a plastic bag of water. I tried to revive it but it died a couple weeks later. When i called and told them what happened they were rude and unwilling to replace it. Do not order plants from them! read more

The less than Enchanted Florist. My Brother had flowers deliivered to my Mother for this Mother's Day. The roses did not open and the other flowers did not last more than a day. When we called to ask for a replacement, we were told that the rose buds did not open because that is the way some people like them and that if you wait more than 24 hours from the deleivery date they simply won't do anything about it. Really bad customer service and quality. read more

Ordered flowers for my daughter yesterday to be delivered today, Valentine's Day to her office. Never delivered. It took 3 calls starting at 4pm to get answers. I was told they would be delivered by 5pm. First off, that's unacceptable on Valentine's Day. Secondly, no indication on their website of delivery cut off times. It's greed driven when a florist thinks it's acceptable to deliver special flowers at the end of a work day. Hopefully I will get a refund tomorrow. So disappointed! read more

My daughter recently went through Rush and I was wanting to help celebrate with a special flower arrangement. I called Enchanted Florist and spoke with Crystal who was incredibly accommodating. I couldn't send the flowers until my daughter received her bid as I wanted the flowers to be in her sorority's colors. Crystal had things ready to go as soon as I called confirming the sorority. My daughter was beyond thrilled with the arrangement! She sent me pictures a full week later and the arrangement was still beautiful. I had an arrangement done on 24 hours notice. When I picked it up, it was nicely executed and appropriate for the occasion. It certainly met expectations but did not exceed expectations. I received tulips last week for my birthday. There were 3 different colors which were wrapped in individual bunches in the vase. The vase itself was more unusual than you get from most places which was nice but the flowers didn't last. The dark red ones seemed a little beaten and bruised and really only lasted a day or two. The others didn't last the 5 days that you get guaranteed from a grocery store so I won't be using them again. read more

I rushed into The Enchanted Florist with two little kid and a mission! I needed matching small bouquets for my girls to present to their grandmother at her retirement party. And I had 15 minutes. The gentleman in the shop was completely flexible, so kind, and immediately asked all the right questions. He asked my budget, then asked about the style. I gave him free rein, telling him only the color of my mom's dress and that it would be an added bonus if the bouquets could be put together as an arrangement after the event as a singular unit. He went above and beyond. Today is 8 days later, and my mom is still sending photos of now beautiful the flowers are. I called these guys to get a bouquet of flowers for my mom just because she is a great person and 1 hour later, I kid you not, 1 freaking hour later my mom called me to say thank you for the flowers!!! Not only that, but they were really nice to me on the phone and when I went to my mom's to see the arrangement, it was just gorgeous. And I don't use that word very often. Walked in - nobody spoke to us - finally asked a woman looking at a book near the cash register if she could help us. She didn't even reply - just turn her head and yelled into the back "I guess they want something, where are you?" A moment later a different woman appears and asks "What do you want?" with do you have money or you just looking attitude - we inquired about an arrangement of purple roses and possibly daisies and that we would like to see what she has- She didn't even look at us or ask any questions just left. Then the woman near the cash register says "I can ring you up." We were gobsmacked!! No prices, no questions, no customer service and then this woman is demanding our monies before we even saw the flowers. We left. Rude customer service, very unfriendly and the quality of the flowers just in the store were even bad as we walked around to find the actual store clerks. It is best to avoid this store!! read more
