This place is fantastic! We've done over 60 escape rooms and this place really does a wonderful job from start to finish. A few basics. Booking is easy online and there is a lot of helpful info on the site. I personally didn't look too far into the room details because I prefer to be surprised. All the games are pretty family friendly but if you are worried, just give them a call and talk to someone first. Yes, there is a possibility that another group could book for the same time slot but it depends on the day and time. Weekends are the busiest so there is a higher chance of that. We played all six games with no one else booking the same time, but we didn't do any rooms after 6 pm. The staff is so nice, just call to find out what the best option is if you're on the fence. Plus, if you like escape rooms and you get paired with a group who likes escape rooms, you might make some new friends! Parking - West garage (free), street parking (metered for the closest spots on Easton Station), or nearby open lots. Like a lot of businesses in the area, there is no restroom for customers so you'll have to walk about 150 ft across the street to the public restroom. Lastly, there is always a spot in the room where you can leave your things like bags or jackets so no lockers needed. The staff is so amazing! They go above and beyond without hesitation. We are already planning trips to other locations because we had such a great experience here. Ali, Abbey, Josh, and Tyler were absolute rockstars! They were so patient, helpful, and really elevated the experience. So if you have questions, don't be shy and just ask. They all truly want you to enjoy your whole adventure. Ok, let's talk details. Once you enter the room, you'll watch a short video with some tips and your mission. These rooms are so immersive, some of the best I've seen. There are so many details from floor to ceiling. Every game has multiple rooms and some were so unexpected! I really love the transitions from one room to another. Some entrances to other rooms are smaller spaces but don't worry, there are alternate ways to get to the other rooms (once they are open) if you don't want to crawl or do whatever is required. Don't feel bad, I have frozen shoulder so crawling is sometimes difficult and I was able to do all of the games with no issue. You get unlimited hints so you can make the room as difficult as you want. We didn't have any hiccups as far as things not working even though it's pretty common to have something not function the way it's supposed to, especially with magic locks. These puzzles are challenging and really make you think but with hints to guide you when you're stuck there isn't anything that is unsolvable. They are also non linear so if you have a larger group you don't have to all stand around waiting for one puzzle. One of the things I love is that the puzzles match the theme and flow well with the room, making the story and the mission more immersive. THE PLAYGROUND is the first room we tried and it's so fun. It's bright and open and more challenging than I thought it would be. This one can accommodate up to 12 players and there are a lot of puzzles to solve. THE HEIST was pretty fun. It starts out bright and gets dimmer once you're out of the first area and details matter! PRISON BREAK requires you to be split up into two different areas to start and you have to communicate by talking across cells. The puzzles are more challenging than the other rooms and it has a couple elements that may not be good for really young ones. My oldest, who is on the spectrum, likes this room because there are more puzzles that require a physical aspect like using a tool. He's not the biggest fan of puzzles and only goes for his brother so he likes the games where he can "participate" more as he says. Although, a lot of their rooms had elements that he enjoyed. THE DEPTHS doesn't get too dark. I like how on theme everything is including the sounds. We asked for the most hints in this room because sometimes I make puzzles harder than they need to be. GOLD RUSH is my second favorite, who doesn't want to be in a mini mine? My boys like the cabin part the best, you'll see why when you try it out. My favorite room is SPECIAL OPS. You start in a Middle Eastern market and the story just unravels from there. I think this was the most immersive, you almost forget where you are for a second. Every aspect really does flow well. If you're new to escaping, this will definitely set the bar high for future rooms. If you're a habitual escapee, then hopefully you will love this place. We did all six in two days because the staff is wonderful, the rooms are so much fun, and there's good food nearby to take breaks in between games. So go try it out and don't forget to leave a review!

Absolutely amazing experience! We did the heist and it was very challenging which we enjoyed. The rooms are very well done. We escaped with just minutes to spare. Although we loved our teammates, I do wish you had the option to only do 4 people in a room instead of being paired with random people. That's the only downfall of this company.

I had such a great time at The Escape Game. First of all the staff were wonderful, Fletcher was the person behind the desk and she was really nice and talked to us quite a bit. Mal was the person who showed us the escape room and he was really nice and very funny talking us through the escape room. Of course I can't forget the room and the second I stepped in I was immediately immersed into the story of the room, and the design was outstanding and it made everything look and feel so realistic. The only issues I had were the no bathrooms and that one lock was not reset but that was easily overlooked.

Had a blast!! everyone was so nice and the discount after 9pm is helpful. I wish i could remember our tour guides name but he was AWESOME! One of the best escape rooms I have done- I enjoyed the multi-room lock experience and hints without judgement. If you are looking for a fun unique experience definitely come and do "in the depths."

This place is AMAZING! My husband and I have been waiting to cross "The Depths" off of our list for a while so we traveled up to this location over the weekend! So SO happy that we did. My husband mentioned to Ally (the GM) that we were coming up for a babymoon and the team surprised us with a little gift basket! We are consistently blown away by the kindness and service at every location we have been to! I recommend The Escape Game to absolutely everyone looking for an amazing experience paired with an amazing staff!

It's ok. I would had a better time if we had our own group. I suggest going in a group of 8 if you want to do prison break and ask for hints

The team was super friendly and helpful even when we "accidentally" dropped a piece. 10/10 would do again.

No bathrooms....no bathrooms. Literally you have to leave the facility and go urinate at a different establishment.

The service here has always been exceptional. Breakout along with other companies are moving away from the standard key and combo locks and integrating more "magic" as one of the hosts called it. More moving parts and ones that just open automatically when a puzzle is solved which is much more fun so if you haven't been in a while I'd say this is your cue to book a new room. My favorite room at this location was Do Not Disturb which doesn't exist in Ohio anymore but most recently we did Museum Heist. It was engaging with clues that could be solved by kids and adults. We had a party of five and made it out in time with our youngest player being 13. The clues are fun and challenging and the hints are given on a TV screen when you ask for them. I do prefer the ones where you can just speak to the host but these hints are specific to what you ask, you just may have to walk to the other room to see the TV. That is the only slightly negative thing I have to say because we love this company! If you've never been then this is a good place to start because they all seem passionate about escape rooms and making sure people enjoy it. For anyone who has done multiple escape rooms or plans to, you should check out the Morty app if you don't have it already!

So good, in fact, that I kind of thought he was actually drunk instead of just pretending. But, he wasn't. He was very funny, helpful, and definitely added to the experience we had. The adventure itself was challenging, but not too challenging. We got out with 8 minutes to spare and felt that all of the clues made sense and ultimately led to our success. I was surprised by the cleverness of the clues and just how much fun we had overall discovering the clues. I would definitely visit this escape room again despite the slightly creepy location (it's in the basement of a weird office building.)

We came as a couple and were then together with a group of 6 that seemed to have done this sort of thing several times before and so we took a few minutes to get into a groove with the rest of the team. Once things got going though, we had a really good time. Our team got out with 4 minutes to spare. One note: $25 per person seems a little pricey to me. We found a Groupon and so were able to do a little better than that, so keep your eyes peeled.
